Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. WHOOSH! There goes the week, flying by in a flash. I can’t believe it’s almost Friday.

Hope you’re having a nice night. I’m just chilling in front of the TV. I’m about to finish watching Margaret, with Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin). Great, great acting. I started it last night but had to pause it so I could get to bed at a decent hour.

      Hi Gina,

They came out a while back! I’m more of a MAC girl when it comes to lashes, but I like these too. The band is really thin, which helps with the comfort. The only thing is the lashes feel kind of stiff, but at least they’re lightweight.

Once again, awesome lashes! 🙂 This whole look is great on you. I liked Strip in the swatch but Naked 2 looks fab on you.

I have to check Margaret out. I saw a little blurb on it in EW and made a mental note to watch it. And speaking of TV viewing, we’re a Nielsen family this week (first time ever!) and it’s probably the best timing for them because the boys are between sports so we’ll be home most evenings. I feel like I should be explaining my choices in the margins. 6 – 9 Casino Royale on SyFy (PS I wouldn’t normally watch it again but I’m excited for Skyfall this October and wanted to get some Daniel Craig/Bond viewing in). Can you imagine the poor people who have to go over the results? Um, take that family off the list. 🙂

How cool! How do you get picked for something like that? Well, not that I want for them to know that I’ve been watching Hollywood Exes on VH1 or anything. LOL…

That’s funny how you mention Bond, because I was thinking the other day that Daniel Craig might be my fave bond, ever.

I don’t know! They called and the Hubs said we weren’t interested (thought it was a phone survey) but then they sent us a TV diary and said to start on 7/19 (if we wanted to participate). Being in marketing myself, I’m a sucker for that. But I do feel the same way as you. Especially if the kids watch more than a half hour of TV on the weekends. 🙂

I agree. I’ve steadfastly stood by Sean Connery as my favorite Bond but it gets harder and harder. I’d like Daniel Craig in just about anything.

They look all great on you, but I love your eye-make up the most! The falsies are gorgeous too, they don’t look like too much, but just enough to make a big difference!

They look a little cray-cray in person, to be honest! I’m surprised they looked so subdued in this look.

I love their eyeshadow primer, so I’m excited to try their Pore Perfecting primer. I have visible pores around my nose area that needs a little “help.” Also, I hope the primer will lengthen the wear of my makeup because I’ve tried alot of other ones and they didn’t really help in that department. =(

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
