Milani Baked Eyeshadow Swatches

Heya, gals. How’s your Saturday coming along? Doing anything fun? I’m just taking a quick break from all of the high-intensity relaxing I’ve done today. Ya know, I didn’t want to overexert myself. 🙂

I did want to share a few swatches of the Milani Baked Eyeshadows ($7.49 each) with you, though (if you’re interested, here’s a review).

Have you given these a try yet? What did you think? For $7.49 they’re awfully hard to resist.

So what’s on the menu for tonight? I’m thinking about Thai food (love yellow curry!!!) and maybe catching a late movie.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I’m watching The Ten Commandments right now. Wouldn’t be Easter without it! Yul Brynner was such a badass!

I’m loving their baked blushes right now and now I really want these. I wonder if these would look just as good over a sticky base as they do wet?

Those look fantastic applied wet! Will definitely try a few of those.

Went to Sebastopol with my Mom today for an early Easter brunch. I had smoked salmon benedict, which was AMAZING! This evening I just fixed up some spinach salad with goat cheese and roasted red pepper, I was still full from brunch! It was a great way to clean out the fridge!

I bought Mix It Up from your previous review but my outcome was way different. It met the trash can yesterday actually. Luckily it was only 7 bucks or I’d be pissed LOL. I would love to try more but I really need to stop with the shadows. I need to use what I have! I am loving these Cream Shadows by Benefit though. RSVP is my daily lid color, with some mascara and Im good to go now. So clean, fresh and simple! Lol

Wow, those are AMAZING applied wet. A lot of the time, you don’t see much difference. Man, I totally want these now. Although, the brushes that they come with, while neat looking, don’t look like very good quality.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
