Paul and Joe Spring 2010 Is Tempting Me BIG TIME!

January 28th, 2010 by Karen 29 Comments

Well, hello, beautiful! 🙂 Judging by the look of Paul and Joe’s spring 2010 makeup, spring has *totally* sprung.

I mean, I thought their cutie-pie Alice in Wonderland collection looked cool, but that’s not all they had in store for spring. They’re also releasing new eye, cheek, nail and lip products, too, in (classic Paul and Joe form) flirty, femme, yet oh-so-sophisticated packaging and colors.

I’ve got my eye on the customizable shadow palettes… PJ made 25 colors available for ’em in Satin (a shimmery frost), Silk (a sheer sheen) and Cashmere (a smooth matte) finishes.

And, because they couldn’t stop there, they made these creamy Cheek Powders and Nail Enamels, which are also tempting me BIG TIME!

Or what about the Collection Sparkles range right down here? CUTE!

I’m still tracking down prices and further details like (Paul and Joe doesn’t seem to list them on their website) release dates (I heard a rumor about March).

Sometimes I have a hard time finding the line in stores here in the US, but it’s carried online at BeautyHabit.com and in-store at Bergdorf Goodman in New York.

I’ll keep you updated as I get more information! 🙂 And PLEASE clue me in if you get wind of any more deets. Just shoot me a line in the comments.

Have a great day today. Tabs says “What it do, ya’ll?”

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Hells yes! I’m tempted too. The 1 store here that has it only carries their permanent stuff, such a bummer. Are you going to NWFW lady? When am I going to meet you? I can always go to SF when Virgin has a sale! 😉

I wish I was headed there… but I can’t handle the cold, LOL! I’ve been to NY once in the winter and I swore to myself that would be the last time. What can I say? I’m a Cali weather wimp!

If/when you’re in town let me know. I’d love to meet you too… and if you brought me some home-cooked Portuguese food I wouldn’t protest!

Soooo tempting! I love the customized eye palettes and the kitty packaging on the Honeysuckle Sparkle (natch)!

Is there anywhere around here we can get Paul & Joe?

I’ve looked and so far the only places I know are those two above and the DFS Galleria in Waikiki (kinda far, LOL!). Allegedly some Anthropologie stores carry the line but I haven’t seen it here in the Bay!

Paul and Joe used to be a the SF Union Square Sephora but I guess that was a long time back. It needs to be here – such a natural for SF!

I love the packaging – very bad of me I know!

I think they pulled the line out in 2005 or 2006. It’s such a bummer — I really love how they handle color and the packaging is always so pretty!

Yay! So cute! I have nothing to contribute with, except the name of the model…Agnete Hegelund! She’s a Dane like me, tee hee. I think it’s her anyway, her sister is a popular model too 😀

If it weren’t for that silly, cheap looking (and feeling0 packaging, I think I could totally get into P&J’s colors.

I am the odd ball. I haven’t met a single person who dislikes P&J’s packaging. To illustrate how odd I am, I also dislike Jill Stuart cosmetics’ packaging – clunky, bulky, unnecessarily ornate. I am sure I am alone in that opinion as well.

Between your site and Lina at Beauty Look Book – I have big time Lemmings for their Spring line. I am comtemplating BIG time to place a call at Bergdorf’s in NY with the girl that helped when I was there. She was the nicest and I wouldn’t hesitate dropping $12 in shipping fees when I’m ready. I’m also thinking of purchasing some Edward Bess stuff too while I’m at it.

and yes their Lip Lacquer in the tube is my favorite – I am just sad that I didn’t buy more colors! Well worth the $20!

I like the customizable palette idea. I will definitely check it out at Bergdorfs. I think they are suppose to come out in March.

For Alice in Wonderland, I heard it’s coming out in February, not sure of date or price though.

Another online site for p&j is: primpingparleur.com. The site also has a loc for their physical store in Brea,CA.

Ahhhhh, soooo cute! I wasn’t aware P&J was putting out so much stuff this spring! I’ve never bought one of their eyeshadow palettes before since I never liked all the shades, but I might seriously have to go for one of these customized palettes! The packaging on all their products are just absolutely gorgeous. I’m wearing their powder blush #10 Tango today! 😀

These look luscious! The only problem I have is putting together palettes I always feel so pressured to make the perfect color decision. However, don’t think this is gonna stop me from trying! ;0) Oh and I love how feminine and sweet but luxe the packaging is.

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
