  11. Biore Skin Preservation Line: Here’s a look at a drugstore skin care line for women 25-35, with skin that’s out of the “acne/breakout” phase but not yet ready for wrinkle fighters or thicker night creams/moisturizers.

  15. Clairol ColorSeal Weekly Conditioning Gloss: LOL! This blogger took an inadvisable approach to acquiring their favorite moisturizing drugstore conditioner.
  16. niceneasy

  17. Max Factor Vivid Impact Lip Color: It’s too bad Max Factor decided to stop distribution here in the US next year, but at least they’re giving us some time to snag highly rated products like this one before pulling the plug.

I got a chance to try the UK version of Dream Liquid Mousse and it’s a dream! To be fair, it’s more of a tinted moisturizer than a foundation but did not give me breakouts. The U.S version is a lot thicker.

Also, I love the Revlon lip gloss as well. It’s really shiny!

The us version of Dream Liquid mousse is thicker and colors are more orangy.

However neither the uk version (ive been using it for 4 months) or the us version broke me out.. and i have super sensitive skin.

Me thinks the reviewer had an allergy to the product.. but im sure not everyone will have that reaction! I highly reccomend it as it does give light coverage but a flawless smooth finish!

I’am obssessed with V05 shampoo. It gives me tons and tons of volume, no frizz, and it makes my hair really soft-best part is the price(: I’ am in shock about the whole Max Factor brand shutting down. It is my favorite makeup line-and now I guess I have to start my search for a better maekup line): on a positive note I guess I still have time. Ceathpil is the ultimate HG and I love Revlon lip glosses! Although, they do tend to come off in just 30 minutes…

On the “Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation” – Yuck yuck yuck. I second that blogger. While it didn’t cause me to break out at all, it rubbed off on absolutely everything I touched and I used it conservatively on my face only where coverage is needed. To add, if you even attempt to apply your make-up over it.. DISASTER. It literally crinkled up my bronzer, flaked off my cheek rouge and cause my UV powder to bunch into one spot (it wouldn’t spread evenly). That’s what I get for hitting Walgreens late on a Saturday night. I really advise trying it first if possible.. I’m sticking with Clinique after that experience.

Great post! I am in LOVE with the Max Factor Vivid Impact Lipsticks. I got #04 (Pin-up Pink) as an alternative to Saint Germain for my skin tone and it is amazing. Lasts so long on the lips, doesn’t bleed, awesome pigmentation, nice & creamy and not drying to the lips at all. Definitely a MF item people should pick up before the brand is officially off shelves.

i have to tell ya karen, i freaking HATE that great lash mascara. absolutely hate. i don’t know why it gets so much buzz and continues to do so. the brush is really thin, and only applies a black colour to ur lashes. no volume, no length, no nothing. in fact, just makes ur lashes rather dark and droopy.

There are two kinds of people, one’s that love Maybelilline’s Dream Liquid Foundation and people who hate it. The people who love it really do look airbrushed (it’s true I’ve seen it), the people who hate it look like they have an oil slick on their face. And then there who are third kinds of people who’ve never tried it because they are too pale, that’s me.

I live by Sally Hansen nail polish. I used to have brittle short and thin nails that would bend from weakness. I tried the clear Sally Hansen harden nail polish and in two weeks my nails grew and became stronger. This was amazing! And you can get it at the store around the corner from your house for 6 bucks. Best 6 bucks spent in my life.

awww too bad. But I looooove maybelline’s dream liquid mousse! I agree it can be drying but I haven’t noticed any rubbing off. I’m sure it does eventually but it must have not been that obvs. since I didn’t notice anything. The again I used pressed powder over it so set everything 🙂 Ive been using it the past few months

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
