Laura Mercier La Petite Patisserie Trio

Mark your calendars! Here in the States, May 13 is Mother’s Day (click here to find out when it falls in your country). Want to get Mom something special this year? Looking for gift ideas? Check back over the next few days for a different Mother’s Day gorgeous gift idea (a new special something with which to spoil Mom). :)

When I was growing up, I used to love sitting in the kitchen and watching my mom bake sweet treats (she makes a mean banana bread!).

This year, treat Mom to something almost (but not quite) as sweet as she is with the limited edition Laura Mercier La Petite Patisserie Trio ($45), a decadent trio of scented body products baked with pastry chefs and foodies in mind.

Let Mom lather her cares away with the Crème Body Wash before smoothing and scenting herself with the Soufflé Body Crème and Eau de Gourmande Fragrance.

The creme won’t leave her skin feeling greasy or sticky, and the fragrance lingers for hours.

I love the Almond Coconut Milk scent because it reminds me of my mom’s yummy coconut cake, nom! But if coconuts aren’t Mom’s thing, the trio also comes in Fresh Fig.

This post is part of series called Mother’s Day Gorgeous Gift Ideas. For more ideas, check out…

You can find the trios now at Laura Mercier counters and online at lauramercier.com.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

You’re welcome, Nina! I don’t think you could go wrong with any of Laura’s bath and body products, really. I’ve given them as gifts before and everyone always seems to like the scents and textures. :) If you get the chance give her Eau de Lune a sniff, too. I actually finished a bottle once! It’s that good.

  4. Kim says:

I’ve never sniffed any of LM’s bath products, but they all sound delish. I’ll definitely have to check them out!

      Hi Kim,

LM’s bath/body products are some of the best things in her line. Lots of complex, delicious scents. For sure check out her body washes and her Eau de Lune perfume Both are so lush!

Have you and the boys made plans for Mother’s Day yet?

      • Kim says:

        They sound great!

No, no plans yet. We usually have my parents come over for dinner so all the “moms” are together. I should start thinking about it since it will be here before we know it! On the upside, I already bought my mother’s gift. One less thing to worry about! :)

I absolutely love Laura Mercier Almond Coconut products. Been buying it for at least four years now and have never let myself run out of the lotion. I even keep a travel one in my purse. I get compliments on it on a daily basis. (Even had to buy it for a sister in law because she liked it so much!) As always, enjoy your insights. Thanks for sharing Karen!

  8. MakeUpNaive says:

Coconut milk & Almond? Seems good enough to eat! But i heard the lotion doesn’t moosturize that well? BTW, always dying to ask, is your mom filipina? I saw her lumpia pics & it made me sooo homesick! 😥
