Sometimes a girl (or guy!) just wants to treat herself to a trip to Sephora, and while she’s there, maybe find herself something that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
Ya feel me?! I think you do. 🙂
I was there earlier today under the guise of “searching for a Father’s Day gift for my dad,” while also looking for an inexpensive treat for…myself. Here are 10 potential beauty treats for less than $10 each, whoop-whoop!
1. Purely Pure Organic Cotton Facial Pads ($6)
2. Express Dry Shampoo ($9)
3. Instant Nail Polish Remover Wipes ($5)
4. Super Nourishing Lip Balm ($5) and 5. Super Smoothing Lip Butter ($8)
5. See above. 🙂
6. Instant Depuffing Eye Mask ($6)
7. Pore Clarifying Mask ($5)
8. Express Eye Makeup Remover Wipes ($9)
9. Instant Eye Makeup Remover ($6)
10. Express Cleansing Wipes ($9)
I walked out with the $6 Pure Pure Organic Cotton Facial Pads, so that was my treat. I think they’re new because the sales associate who helped hadn’t seen them before in the store.
Don’t ask me why I get such a thrill out of buying cotton pads, because I can’t figure it out. But I do.
I don’t know… Maybe it’s because I use them every day, or because I’m comforted just knowing that I won’t be running out.
I bet it’s related to some kind of primitive cave woman hardwiring in the brain… Something to do with stockpiling. 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Cool list. I actually search the Sephora site several times a week & I always start with the sales section. I get a kick out of treating myself to a small, affordable beauty item every now & again.

This place is a money pit for me. I go in there for one thing and then I discover 5 other things that I just have to try. I love how they have travel size products!

I was so happy to find the nano eyeliners during my last Sephora trip, and they were on sale! I’m pretty sure they’re discontinuing them, but this store randomly had some in the colors I was looking for!

I get a LOT of satisfaction from stockpiling conditioner. It’s like an illness, I tells YA!

Autocorrect changed my normal “ya,” to capitals, because of course it did.

Great finds! That eye makeup remover is tempting me. The one I’m using now, from L’Oreal, doesn’t work too well. It takes ages to remove everything.

I might give that dry shampoo a try next time I place an order.

I’m definitely going to have to grab one of those pore clarifying masks next time I’m in! Thanks for all the tips in this post, I’m definitely going to be on the lookout for some of these products!

I need the cotton pads! Looks like these are located in the Checkout Aisle of Doom, where my bill tends to go from reasonable to ridiculous. When you say “It’s only $X!” 10 times, it adds up fast. haha

That was a great list. Thanks. You are doing good if that’s all you walked out with. I don’t trust myself in Sephora, cuz I’m like a kid in a candy store. I want it all!! Happy shopping!!

I stockpile cotton pads too, and even though they would last me a whole year, I always get another one “just in case”.

I’m going to check out those cotton pads. I use them everyday too for makeup removal. I love Sephora’s nail polish remover in the jar, takes off polish with ease so I’ll have to try the nail wipes soon. I can never leave Sephora empty handed, lol. Now the JC Penney store close to me has a new Sephora store, hip hip hooray!

I would love to try the express cleansing & purifying wipes!!!
