I keep a Target list on my phone because it’s common knowledge that if you go to Target without a list, you’ll leave with a cart filled with nonsense, and you’ll probably forget to actually get the items you need (story of my life). I keep the list because that way I know I’ll get what I, ya know, actually need, LOL!
Anyway, one of the things on my list right now is Raw Sugar Body Body Butter, which I recently discovered, and it’s been an amazing product find.
It’s affordable — $9.99 for a 7-oz. jar! — but it feels like and performs as well as the $34 Caudalie Body Butter I love so much.
It’s a thicker-style body butter, so it isn’t as fluffy as the body butters at Origins or Pacifica, but despite how dense it is, it still absorbs quickly (weird!).
It’s also moisturizing as all heck.
And I think it smells great, too. I’ve been using the Raw Coconut + Mango version, but I’ve also seen Pineapple + Maqui Berry on the shelves. It smells tropical and yummy, like a smoothie or a fruit salad, and I like that I can smell it on my skin after I work it in, but everybody else around me can’t (I’ve tested this with El Hub).
As you can see by my current jar, I love it! It absolutely helps keep my dry skin under control. I’m a twice-a-day moisturizer — once when I wake up in the morning, and once again at night, which might seem like overkill, but I don’t even care because I’m not about to have skin that looks like a worn leather handbag.
The Raw Sugar brand is pretty new to me, but I’m excited about trying some of their other products. In addition to the body butters, they have scrubs, hair masks, facial cleansers, hand wash, shampoos and conditioners, and everything is made with certified organic ingredients. They also don’t do animal testing.
I wanna try the hand wash, and then the body wash next, in the Vanilla Bean + Sugar scent.
If you don’t live near a Target, consider yourself #blessed in some ways because that place is a TIME SINK. If a trip to Tar-ghay isn’t in the cards, you can also find Raw Sugar Body Butter online for $9.99 for a 7-oz. jar.

Karen

I always make a list on my phone too before going to Target but I was looking at your screenshot of your list and thinking “why the heck don’t I use the check mark bullets!!?” Because I always end up forgetting things still since I normally delete as I go. Any how, this scrub sounds interesting and like a steal too at that price so I guess I have another excuse to go Target, which I find a new excuse every day since it’s basically down the street from my home.

The one nearest to me is down the street too (just a five-minute drive away). It’s wonderful and terrible at the same time! Does yours sell food?

Yes!! So I’m in there almost every other day restocking my produce for my fridge(another excuse)and true it is great and terrible. I mean all the employees and Starbucks baristas there know me it’s pretty funny, so if I’m in there with my husband I have to tell them to pretend not to know me LOL

I use this brand’s bar soap and like it very much. I bought it at… Target. ? This body butter will be next on my list. A bit of a blizzard going on here today and tomorrow though so it will have to be later in the week. Hopefully I don’t forget! I walk in there and sometimes I even forget what I’m actually supposed to buy LOL.

Oh gosh, me too. If I didn’t have a list I would never actually get what I need from that store. I will have to try their bar soap soon (last time I was there I didn’t see it on the shelf, so hopefully I can find it). Is your Target nearby? Mine is literally less than 10 minutes away by car. I’m there almost every day, LOL!
Stay safe and warm in the snow! We’re having a run of wet weather here in Northern California this week but next week it’s supposed to be sunny and in the 70s.

Ok, I checked online and Target is running the gift card offer on personal care and cosmetics and this item is included. So, in order to NOT forget (because sometimes I have a list and I still forget things that are right on it), I just ordered it for store pick up with a couple other items that I don’t need ? Target run on Thursday. I hope I don’t forget to pick up my order! I have some shoes I need to return too so customer service will have to be the first stop…

Target is five to ten minutes up the road. I’ve been on that daily Target run habit in the past ? But I’ve whittled it down to 2-3 times a week, when my older child is at school, so I only tote the younger one with me. I alternate between two locations as there is a newer, bigger one that’s only 10-15 minutes away that has covered parking. Useful during weather conditions. (We’ll be digging ourselves outta the snow tomorrow here in PA, you stay dry!)
But really, it’s not hard to find an excuse to go to Target. Like when I had this cough that wouldn’t go away over the holidays (I’m fine now), my excuse can be as lame as, I need to get out of the house because I cough less when I’m at Target. ??
The closest Target has been under renovation and they seem to have stocked more brands in the personal care and beauty aisles. The displays are lower and they changed all the signage. I got my Raw Sugar soap months ago though. I like that it lasts. They got rid of the cafe and Starbucks now has a nice seating area. It’s a trap, I know you know! I walk in and my little one immediately needs a cake pop.
