“Daaaaaang, Pig-Pen!”
That’s what I said when I rinsed after using True Blue Spa Clean Karma Exfoliating Body Wash ($13.50). “All that dirt was on ME??” Yikes!
The crushed lychee and bamboo exfoliators in Clean Karma buff the hell out of crusty feet, elbows and knees. It worked so alarmingly well at removing dirt and dead skin that it left a ring o’ dirty grossness around the tub when I was done. EWWW! — but in a good way.
Yah, the tube looks all peaceful and zen-like, but don’t be fooled. Scrubbing with Clean Karma isn’t what I’d call relaxing. It didn’t hurt when I used it on my rough elbows, feet and knees — in fact, it was kinda invigorating — but on softer skin it felt a little scratchy, like scented sandpaper.
Speaking of fragrance, there’s more to Clean Karma than scrubbing power. It’s a great mix of ginger and orange scents that really wakes me up in the morning.
Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Clean Karma Exfoliating Body Wash
Price: $13.50
Use: A deep, heavy duty exfoliating cleanser
Makeup and Beauty Blog Rating:
If you need heavy duty exfoliating, Clean Karma totally obliterates dirt and dead skin, but it’s not exactly a gentle touch.
Feeling dirrrty? Consider one of these exfoliators…
I think I’ll keep a tube around though. You never know when your feet, knees or elbows will need a good scrubbing!

Karen

OOO. Thanks for the review. I’ve been really curious about this stuff since I quite like this line at B&BW. I tested it out in the store and it smelled fantastic but I am up to my knees with all the True Blue Body and Foot Creams I got during their Semi Annual Sale. Have you tried Tahiti Sweetie? Ahh. Best smelling body lotion :]

A lil’ now and then is a good thing, I suppose 😉

Hi Stephie,
I heart Tahiti Sweetie. Wearing it instantly takes me to the tropics. 🙂
What other stuff do you like from the True Blue line? My fave is a perfume from them that I got a while back called Bronze Bombshell. I don’t think they sell it anymore so I covet that bottle!

Hi Miss QQ,
It kinda is, but in a good way. 🙂 Hey, at least all the crud gets washed off!
Peanuts ROCK! Poor Charlie Brown… he can never seem to quite get it together.

Hey Karen! I love Pigpen! I saw this at BBW when I was hunting for some Exotic Coconut stuff but I didn’t give it a whirl (store was crowded). Question though, so how’d you get that goo outta the tub? I love Fabuloso!

I am game for anything that gets the crud off
I am thinking this may make a great addition to my fiances dreaded shower shelf LOL
FYI he knocked my stuff down again last night – it wasn’t pretty picture 😀

Hi Yadiq,
