There Isn’t Any Room Left in This New Holiday Set Because It Already Includes Everything Nice: The New $56 Too Faced Cosmetics Everything Nice Set, a Holiday Sephora Exclusive

September 25th, 2014 by Karen 19 Comments

Too Faced Everything Nice Set

Question: What do you get when you mix a dash of sugar, a pinch of spice and heaping handfuls of everything nice?

Answer: The new $56 Everything Nice Set by Too Faced Cosmetics.

Too Faced Everything Nice Set box

From under the glittery pink Christmas tree at Too Faced headquarters comes this limited edition holiday Sephora exclusive — the big blockbuster kit from the Too Faced Christmas collection — and it sparkles with a hot pink makeup bag, three tiny Cruelty-Free Teddy Bear Hair brushes (two eye brushes and one for bronzing/blush), a step-by-step Glamour Guide with directions for a number of looks, a deluxe sample-sized tube (translation: slightly bigger than a regular sample size) of Better Than Sex Mascara, and a festive, feminine palette filled with 20 eyeshadows, two blushes, a bronzer and highlighter.

In total, a $450 value.

Blushes, bronzer, highlighter, brushes and mascara…

Everything to me, from the hand-drawn artwork on the palette’s cover, to the disco glam pink makeup bag, to the makeup color choices, seems true to the Too Faced brand. Girly, glam and totally wearable…with a little extra sass thrown in for good measure (because one never knows when one will get the urge to start trouble).

Too Faced Everything Nice Set palette

The 20 eyeshadows? Dude, you could do so many different eye looks with this palette! Roughly three quarters of them are neutrals…but not the kind of neutrals that make me want to hit the snooze button. Among them are mattes, metallics and glitters in a range of warm and cool tones.

And just to keep things interesting, there are also splashes of pink, mauve, taupe and gold.

I know I’ll be able do a lot with these neutrals, and there’s enough variety within the palette to be able to finish many different eye looks without having to incorporate eyeshadows from other palettes.

In the bottom row, Too Faced also grouped together several jewel-toned shimmers. All fun, bright and bold shades.

One of my favorites here is Too Glam, the emerald green shade. It should be perfect for pops of color on the lids.

Just as an FYI, though, when I wear these brights, I find that it’s better for me to do my eye makeup first, as I detect a small amount of fallout (very little).

I also like the blushes, bronzer, highlighter and mascara, but the brushes, eh. I think they’re cute and fine for quick touchups, but I wouldn’t depend on them every day. They’re minis, and they feel a little awkward in my hands…

What a well-rounded set! — especially for $56. I see this as a good place to start for people new to the Too Faced line (although long-time Too Faced palette collectors may already have some of these shades in their makeup drawer) and/or beauty babes looking for holiday presents to push their makeup agenda on friends who haven’t yet seen the light.

Uh…not that I know anything about that. 😉

PRICE: $56 (a $450 value)
AVAILABILITY: Limited edition holiday set, available now exclusively at Sephora stores and sephora.com
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG RATING: B+/A-

I bought this for my sister. She just fell in love with makeup so this looked like a great way to introduce her to Too Faced. It’s a great looking palette. I’d want it for myself if I didn’t already have dupes for those colors.

      Hi Valerie,

What a nice gift! Have you done your sister’s makeup yet? I bet it would be a lot of fun with this palette.

Too Faced has some amazing stuff. I really love the Paper Roses shadow from the Too Faced Country palette. This looks like an amazing travel kit – you could do a lot with it.

I love the colors and the packaging! The black border on each pan kinda looks like as if they are eyeliners or I am just imagining too much. lol Also, did you use an electric fan when you took these photos? Superb shots!

You are killing that look! Gawjus! I love Too Faced products and their holiday sets don’t disappoint. The swatch of Girly reminds me of a discontinued (?) single shadow they used to sell called label whore that was a stunning green-brown duo chrome. I wonder if it’s a re- named version because I’ve never found a dupe for it. #makeupnerdproblems 😀

This is GORGEOUS! I have resisted buying palettes because I don’t wear much eyeshadow. (yup, still too lazy to practice my technique 🙁 ) This is a lovely consideration, though! I have heard that Too Faced has lovely eyeshadow (I have come THISCLOSE to buying the chocolate palette), so this is a bargain.

    Thanks for sharing, Karen!

i love the eye makeup you create here , karen!
i dunno why but this palette quite similar/have the same tone with the urban decay’s vice 2 in my opinion…
but for usd 59 , plus we get blush , bronzer and hilighter (and brush) , i thinks it’s quite a good deal..

HAHA! Nice one, agenda pusher. 😉 This does look pretty amazing in terms of being versatile and I knew you’d be all over that green. You have the best “sophisticated peacock” eye looks with the shimmery greens and blues. I always gravitate toward the pinks for some reason. Must be the 80s flashbacks!

Beautiful palette and awesome makeup bag. I have had a few too faced palette already so like you said, this might not be for me.

But Karen, where did you find those holiday lights? They are adorable!

I also love the look you created. I need to take inspiration and use my too faced palette from last year 😀

Really want this! I failed to pull the trigger on the “My Favorite Things” Too Faced palette last winter, which is my single biggest beauty regret… Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies and that palette was so adorable, I’ll never forgive myself for missing out! However, this seems veeeerryy similar, and what a great value!
