I could do with those stick perfumes as I travel quite a bit. That way I can take as many perfumes as I like!

Re: D9, fortunately I knew what we were in for (not a two hour “bug hunt” ala “Aliens”/”Starship Troopers”), but I totes dug it. It reminded me a bit of “28 Days Later”– this great sleeper with no big names. Certainly not the “feel good movie of the year”, but I’m glad I saw it. Next week, tho “Ponyo” for sure– need something lighter! Although knowing Miyazaki, there’s gonna be some serious message in that, too.

The party was lovely, very cosy gettogether with friends and family. Good food, good wine, good company, what more can you ask for?

You and me both, Karen! My heart was so, so heavy when I left the movie theatre. Kind of ruined my night, actually. Jury’s still out on whether or not I can bear to watch it again/recommend it to others.
