Hiya, friends! I am at a mall with *two* Clarins counters hunting for a tube of Wonder Mint mascara. The first counter didn’t have it, so, if it’s MIA at the second counter, then I’m still SOL as far as the teal terror is concerned.
Anyhoo, while cruising the other makeup counters I spied these four limited edition palettes from Prescriptives. New for summer, the collection is called Limited Edition Palettes for Eyes and Cheeks. Each $55 palette comes packed with four full-sized eyeshadows and two blushes, and the Prescriptives artists here tell me that it would cost $97.50 to buy all the products in each palette separately. I loves me a good deal, but I must stay focused! I’m off to Clarins counter numero dos. Wish me mascara luck!

I bought two things recently, and I’m surprised how much I love them!
MAX Factor ColorGenius Blush in Peaches(so so pretty) and Cover Girl 4-kit shadow in Ice Princess. I didn’t realize how much the purple would make my blue eyes stand out. The blush is surprisingly light and almost creamy, and subtle! I’m very excited.
Those are pretty…I think I’m putting myself back on lockdown for a week or two – as soon as I pick up a couple more things. I’m going back to clinique soon though I’ve been reaching for sunlit palm and starlit pink a lot…I want to pick up a couple other colors…and I still need to get the glosswear in tenderheart.
Hey Karen, how are u? just thought id mention that if you have no luck with the clarins, try seeing if you have a smashbox counter and if they have a teal mascara? I just threw my smashbox one out the other day and its a similar colour to the Clarins.
And anotehr thing..u know the china Glaze OMG collection? After seeing them on ur nails i just HAD to hunt them down! They’ve cost me a fortune off ebay but i am now porudly wearing TTYL on my hands and i cannot stop staring at the colour/ Im transfixed with the reflects within the colour.

I found it, yay! Thank goodness for multiple counters in one mall.
You are right — these palettes are totally fab for travel. I couldn’t get a picture of the case that it comes in, but it’s really thin, silver and very modern-looking.
I have to chill on the palette action for a bit, though. I “rediscovered” my empty Shu palette this morning, so hopefully some time this weekend I will get around to filling it up.

Now I want Starlit Pink extra badly. I should probably lock myself down, too, after I get it. I wanted to go all crazy at the Clarins counter yesterday (I did end up finding my mascara, yay) when I saw the summer collection, but through some miracle managed to not go nuts.

I’m good, girl! How are you? I did end up finding the mascara, hooray. I haven’t checked out the smashbox colored mascaras, but the next time I go to Sephora I will give ‘em a look. I’m thinking I need purple now!

I found it, hooray! And it only took three counters, LOL.
I’ve read that contrasting colors can really make eyes pop, so that’s great that you discovered purples! Finding new shades is like discovering a whole new world. Love it! Now we need to get your some fab eggplant liner… I bet that would be super pretty.
Is that MAX Factor blush the one with three shades in the pan? I think I might have that one, too.
