MAC Viva Glam Lipstick Palettes, a Fab Gift Idea for $25.00

Published in: MAC Makeup, Product Reviews

G-L-A-M … O-R … O-U-S!

MAC Viva Glam, you rule. Your lipstick colors work on all shades of skin and you always have the coolest spokespeople (love ya, Dita!).

Buy a lipstick, change a life. Is it that easy?

Well, yes. Every cent of the sale proceeds from MAC Viva Glam goes to the MAC AIDS Fund.

This holiday season MAC’s Viva Glamorous Compacts give you the chance to sample these universally flattering shades and help support a fantastic cause.

Two palettes, each with three Viva Glam classics, await your lovely lips.

You can work the Warm Lips palette:

MAC Viva Glam V Lustre Lipstick – neutral pink with pearl
MAC Viva Glam V Lipglass – neutral pink with pearl
MAC Viva Glam VI Lustre Lipstick – warm terracotta-plum fusion with subtle pearl

Or, rock the Cool Lips palette:

MAC Viva Glam IV Frost Lipstick – mid-tone rose with a subtle gold shimmer
MAC Viva Glam VI Lipglass – warm plum with multi-reflective, multi-dimensional pearl

Each palette costs $25.00. I love them both, but if you’re a hard-working student or a budget-minded beauty then opt for the Warm Lips palette to get Viva Glam V. I’ve seen the color on so many different women and it always looks great.

I’m feeling a little better today. Blast you common cold (*sniff*)! I’m off to slurp some chicken soup. Don’t forget to take your vitamin C, ya’ll!

Karen

  2. ponikuta says:

also get well soon. must be getting cold over there for you folks.

  3. Tootsie says:

I always love that really pale pink look…on someone else. It washes me out. Makes me look lip-less.

    Feel better soon!

  4. Karen says:

    Hi Ponikuta,

Thanks for the well wishes. Yup, it’s pretty darn cold here. I know it’s nothing compared to the east coast but to Bay Area folks 40 degrees is no joke.

Oh, and Viva Glam VI is one of my fave Lipglasses.

    Have a good week. :)

  5. Karen says:

Thanks Tootsie. It’s been a chicken-soup-o-rama all weekend.:)

I hear ya on the pale pink and washing out issues. I like it for certain looks, though, like dark panda eyes.

    Hope your weekend was fun.

  6. ponikuta says:

That’s like winter over here. Right now it is summer and it is so damn hot. I can’t wait for winter all over again.

  7. Grayburn says:

Wow you have beautiful lips! I like the pale one especially. Thanks for a great blog!

  8. Karen says:

    Hi Ponikuta,

I love hot weather! But I know “hot” takes on new meaning when it’s humid.

You can vicariously live through me today: it’s 50 degrees, rainy and overcast, boo!

  9. Karen says:

Thanks Grayburn! It’s nice to meet you.

The Viva Glam lippies are great pale lipstick choices. They look even hotter when paired with a MAC Lipglass (I like using the clear color).

  10. Mrs. Lynne says:

You’ve got such pretty lips girl – vivalicious!! Once the kids get older, I’ll have to upgrade my lip collection.

  11. Karen says:

Thanks Mrs. Lynne. I am so jealous of your lips, girl … I wish mine were fuller! :)

The Viva Glams would look great on you, especially IV, woo hoo hawt momma!

  12. Mrs. Lynne says:

No, no… YOUR lips are gorgeous. Perfectly shaped and all!! Hah, us women are so hard to please! IV is a beautiful shade though.

  13. Karen says:

When I visit Hawaii we are going to the MAC Store in Ala Moana and I’m gonna make you get that Viva Glam IV! You need for when you take the kiddies to their school recitals and what not, right? Okay, I can officially justify ANYTHING.

Hope you are having a good weekend. My mom-in-law said it’s been storming like crazy there!
