Hehehehehe, good luck with Tabs' bath! I don't use shower gels anymore. Really like my hand-poured cold process soap... but this... looks like a splurge I might make. Oh, I hate bathing cats! That is never fun! One time, my larger cat had an accident on himself (long story), so I had to bathe him right away. The best part? We had no hot water at the time. Cold bath+cat that hasn’t been declawed=pain. I hope I never have to do that again!

Good luck Karen, I used to work at an animal hospital and clients would ask the dr’s to prescribe a mild tranquilizer for their cat just to bathe them! Also, make sure el hub is w/you, it always took two groomers to bathe a cat!

Lol…I hear you on the cat bathing! Used to have 2 cats and bathing was hell! That and taking them in the car (for the drive to the vet) was never ever fun! Good luck Karen:)

One thing that I find very useful is to use the scruff of a cat’s neck to restrain him/her! It seems to kick in the instinct that kittens have to be still and tuck their feet up so mama can carry them! Maybe if El Hub holds Tabs’ scruff while you scrub? Then follow up with a post-bath catnip-and-treat-fest to facilitate forgiveness!
