When you and I finally get around to starting our secret society of makeup lovers who meet and train to become international super spies, I call dibs on codename “Lady Danger!”
The place will be like Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, except there won’t be an upper age limit…and you won’t need mutant powers.
The coursework will couple intensive training in makeup blending with more practical subterfuge skills like ninja acrobatics. I tell you right now, it’ll be amaze-balls. 🙂
I called dibs on Lady Danger because it’s one of my favorite MAC lipsticks of all time, and it just so happens to be one of the three lippies in the new MAC Enchanted Eve Lip Compact in Coral Lipstick ($25), one of two Lip Compacts in the new MAC holiday collection (the other one is Pink Lipstick).
I think this one is more agreeable and overall more useful than the other holiday Lip Compact, Pink Lipstick, because the formulas are much smoother and less likely to latch onto flaky bits…
If you plan on giving this to someone as a gift, just as an FYI, it might be a nice touch to also include a separate retractable lip brush, because the compact doesn’t come with one.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Still not quite my shades, but again, on you they look lovely.
Jessica says
Anything looks good on you!
Kim says
I knew this would have you at “corals”. You had me at ninja acrobatics. HAHA! Well, in spirit, at least. I’m not sure how the old bones and joints would hold up in practice. 🙂

Dibs on Forbidden Sunrise!
Corals being my favorite, I might check this one out! I don’t have any of these three lippies yet. 🙂
Shreya says
Lady danger is my perfect match …totally loving the finish

I love the shades, but for some reason I always automatically have a bias against any lip product in a compact. It always reminds me of something that I would have owned as a child so I can’t justify spending more than a few dollars on it in my mind.

I like Lady Danger but I wish the other 2 shades weren’t so light. I have very pigmented rosy lips and anything lighter than their natural color looks weird on me!

Lady Danger is the bomb! I own and love it, not impressed with the pinks.I brought MAC’s Antonio Lopez red and purple lip palettes a couple years ago and the colors are beautiful. But for some reason I rarely use them, they are like new. It’s easier to throw whatever lipstick I’m wearing in my purse and go. I do use them when traveling though .
Karen says
I love, LOVE Lady Danger. Do you have MAC Warm Soul blush? The two together look amazing!
denise S says
No but I’ll check it out. Thanks!

I did a review of it a while back:

It’s one of my faves to wear during the winter. Kinda reminds me of NARS Madly (which also looks good with Lady Danger!).
denise S says
Pretty! Thanks I’ll check it out this weekend!
Erin says
Another pass for me but Lady Danger looks great on you!
Andrew says
I used to be all about lip palettes, but nowadays they just seem like more of a hassle than I’m willing to put up with. My lip routine consists basically of a nude balm/balmy lippie; anything more in depth than that and I’m jumping ship! Still love the packaging, though.
If I’m not mistaken I’m wanting to say that there’s also going to be a Viva Glam palette with different colored packaging!
Rachel R. says
I love corals. I’m not sure about the lightest shade on its own, but it would be pretty layered over Lady Danger.
Sissi says
I just prefer my lippies in a tube! ?
Astrild says
I just don’t like lip palettes. Lippies don’t last a lot on me so I need to carry the lipstick with me to reapply it and palettes are not as convinient as lipstick tubes.
