I bought one of these yesterday.. is the outside of the straightener supposed to get hot as well??

I just bought one of these and today was the first time i used it. Its a really good product!! It left my hair strait, shiny and silky, healthy look. And the style lastes all day! I just wanted to know if this iron curls? But still it really great i recomend it alot. About the button, You can use your nail tip to turn it on or off its no problem. ALsow the “look” of the iron is a very proffessional look. Like an actual “hair salon iron”. On the price well it is kind off expensive. It cost me $60. It depends where you buy it. In target and walmart have better prices

Well I typically go through cycles….grow it out and chop it off then grow it out etc. It’s just a lot of work when it gets really long because my hair is fine in texture…but thick in quantity. Plus it’s naturally curly to the point of ringlets when it gets longer…and if i get a bad cut it definitely does the whole triangulr thing and is flat on top and super bushy at the ends… I’ve had it short for almost 3 years now…after growing it out for 3 years and chopping it off and donating it. I’ve done this a few times… my hair actually grows pretty fast. Normal maintenance I get an inch to an inch and a half chopped every 6 weeks. I really don’t know where I’m going with it yet. I’m thinking at least shoulder length for now…and seeing how manageable it is for every day. (I am notorious for constant updo’s when I have really long hair.)

Hi Megan,

Your hair is super cute short! When did you decide to grow it out, and what look are you going for?

I haven’t had a haircut since September. I grew mine long for my wedding then chopped it all off. Now I want it long again… I have about three more inches to go.

Yah, I could keep one around but you know me… exponentially lazy in the AM. I think I could actually get it to last 4 years, LOL, because I wouldn’t use it that often. For daily use though, I dunno.
