Actually i went to mac counter to get the paint pot but then the store girl advised me to get cream color base instead as it is versatile to be applied b4 any colors. The color of my eyeshadow really pops out as shown above when its applied with a base. Go for it if u want a pro kinda EYE do! I just bought Mac Cream color base and it really works!
