I see you making grabby hands at these new liquid lipsticks!
Girl, I did the same thing. 🙂 Gimme those brights!
I know, when did Estée Lauder start doing such — how shall I put this? — hip stuff? I used to think of them as a fragrance brand mostly (I wore Pleasures and Private Collection for years!) or, like, the makeup that my aunties wore (it’s true), but they’ve been doing some interesting things lately, especially in the realm of color.
Their fall 2015 collection is huge, with lots of new things, including these liquid lipsticks, a new line eyeshadow singles, shadow sticks and a contouring kit for yo’ eyes.
Press play for a look at a few pieces from the launch. The collection is available right meow online and at Estée Lauder counters.

The lip glosses sound interesting ( I was waiting for you to say ‘not sticky’ .. lol). Now I’ll be able to check ’em out 🙂

Yay! I think you’ll like them, they’re very comfortable. Hopefully you’ll get more wear time that I do!
Sherry P says
Wow they are getting with the times for reals! I am actually quite interested in their new offerings and of course if I am going to get the scoop, coming here slakes the thirst for my insatiable knowledge seeking. Thanks Karen 🙂
Karen says
Hi Sherry P,
You’re welcome! If you don’t have it already you’ve gotta try Estee Lauder’s Little Black Primer. It’s my favorite thing from the line!
Chelsea says
Your “vague obsession” comment killed me, LOL. I’m with you on mid-tone matte browns! Nothing better for the crease.
I’ve never owned anything by Lauder, maybe due to their reputation as being a bit matronly, as you said. None of these are really up my alley, but they do seem to be stepping their game up.
Karen says
I know you’ve been on a mascara mission! Have you ever considered Estee Lauder’s Little Black Primer? You can use it both as a lash primer and as mascara. Great curl hold, thickness, and it’s pretty water-resistant, too. When my tube runs out I’m definitely going to restock.
Chelsea says
It’s on my list of things to try! Curl hold is calling my name!

I don’t know if it’s because I’m “growing up” lol but I think this collection is beeyootiful! Are the liquid lip potions flavored and scented?
Karen says
Hi Sarah,
They have a slight vanilla scent, no flavor though!

I find the idea of a powder shadow pencil intriguing. I’m a little worried about the fact that they’re dry though.
Karen says
Ya know, they’re pretty cool. They buff out beautifully! The texture does take a little getting used to though, especially if you’re more of a cream person.
Aditi says
Wow! All of these look so gorgeous! Those glosses look yummy 😉 and the eyeshadows are so pretty! xx
Karen says
Yes, the glosses are super pretty!

I love EL products but that’s also because we don’t have too many (none actually) hip, young brands available in India. The liquid lipsticks and shadow pencils look lovely but I think it’s going to be a long wait till they reach my shores.
Ankita@corallista says
The Smoky Powder Shadow Sticks look pretty cool! Those eye shadow singles look pretty great too! They remind me of this brand called Addiction (by Ayako) which I stocked up on when I lived in Japan, their singles are amazing!
Kiss & Make-up says
I agree, Estée Lauder has totally hippefied itself! A few years ago I didn’t even glance at Estée Lauder products whilst beauty shopping. It just felt like such a boring conservative brand to me. Nothing for a young contemporary woman. But then all of a sudden the brand transformed itself and now I find myself really loving their products!
LindaLibraLoca says
I have been eyeing them a lot more recently too. Either they have improved or I am getting old…
Fancie says
Estee Lauder does seem to be taking a hip new turn. Those Lip Potions look mighty interesting. I can’t wait to swatch them!

I saw those shadow sticks in Saks (i think…) and they were gorgeous but it they didn’t really suit my skin. I thought they would look nice on my lower lash line but they were just too cool toned for me.

That purple shade of shadow kind of reminds me of LM Kir Royal!
