So darned cute that heart-shaped bubbles and blue-eyed white kittens may trail behind you when you wear it.
Paul & Joe’s sweet dual-ended stick has a cream shadow (the Eye Gloss) on one end and a lip gloss on the other. Nice ($34), from the Beach Baby summer collection, is nice!
1. Adorable overload…
OOH! Look at the scripty font and chrysanthemum flowers.
2. Put your powder shadows on pause
You might be tempted to just wear the Eye Gloss for a while and put your powder shadows on pause, but I think the term, “Eye Gloss,” is a little off target. The product’s more like a fluffy mousse that dries to a powdery finish.
To apply it, I just swipe a small amount across my lids with the doe-foot, and blend out the edges with a finger.
It’s easy to use, which I like, but more than that, I love the color! It’s a surprisingly complex lavender that looks golden pink to me from some angles. Beyond that, it contains tiny flecks of multicolored glitter.
You can build it up if you want more of the purple base to show through, or buff it out for a sheer, glistening, sparkly eye… That’s my favorite way to wear it.
With or without an eye primer, it hangs tough all day long, and did I mention that it’s scented like jasmine flowers?
Yeah, I’m all about the Eye Gloss.
3. Sheer, glossy lips
The gloss on the other end is also coo’. It looks like a bright pink in the tube but applies sheer on my lips with a faintly fruit punchy flavor and scent (nom). It maxes and relaxes for just about an hour before it disappears.
All in all, I like the Nice Eye and Lip Gloss Duo and love the packaging and how well it travels. It makes getting sparkling eyes and sheer, glossy lips a cinch. Add tinted moisturizer, a cream or gel blush and waterproof mascara, and you’re ready for the beach.
