I have clasic diorshow and iconic i like them both but want to try something new..new look has a silicone brush as i know and that attracts me..but that curl brush also and i do not know witch one to choose..:)p.s volume is the most important thing that mascara should do for me

I’m a student and I recently indulged myself in the Chanel’s Spring line’s highlighter powder, and that’s when I received a sample of that new Chanel mascara, and I’ve been loving it so much. And now I’ve read interesting reviews about this Dior one, and I was really confused about their differences. This one cleared it up for me, and I’m still going for the Chanel one since that one impressed me more than any mascara has before!

I’m Asian, and have the typical firm, poker straight lashes that easily droops down when wearing the wrong mascara. So, when it comes to Western brand mascaras, I always have to go for the waterproof version in order to keep the curl of my lashes.

I have been looking at this mascara at the counter today, and liked the wand a lot (since it is very similar to one of my favorite Japanese mascaras), but didn’t buy it, as I was very afraid this non-waterproof version will droop down my lashes (as always with non-wp mascaras).

What do you think, Karen? Do you think this mascara could work on us Asian girls with poker straight lashes and hooded eyelids, even though it is a non-waterproof formulation?

I’ve had trouble “curling” mascaras. Did you have to curl your lashes first or did the mascara curl them for you?

Maybe it’s time!
