Boing!
Boing! Boing! Boing!
Benefit Boi-ing concealer, that is. 🙂 B’s bestselling cream concealer is getting three new shades.
A sheer cream concealer designed to disguise under-eye circles and blemishes, Boi-ing has been part of the Benefit line for years. The new shades include a revamped shade No. 03, also known as Deep, and two new darker shades in 04 and 05, bringing the total number of shades to five.

I’ve actually Boinged before…and when I did, I didn’t feel like any of the colors really suited my NC42 skin. Now, among all of the shades, the new version of 03 seems like the closest color match for me.

I have friends who love to Boing, but most of the time, I need a little more coverage than this formula provides. Yesterday, when I tried 03 under my eyes, I could still see my gray and purple dark circles, clear as a cloudy day. And after a couple hours of wear, the formula began to settle into my fine lines.
Boi-ing may not have the coverage I need, but I’m still glad to see Benefit expanding the line. I’ve often wished for a wider range of colors across Benefit’s product lines.
If you find a shade that fits and only need light coverage for minor blemishes or light circles under your eyes, Boing! You’re in luck. 🙂
Interested in Boinging? Look for the new shades at Benefit stores, counters and online sometime this month.
PRICE: $19
AVAILABILITY: Coming soon to Benefit counters, stores and also online.

oh yay! I don’t actually use bo-ing, nor do i actually need a darker shade myself, but more inclusiveness makes me super happy.

I think this is good for those with darker skins, but I really think Benefit should make an in-between shade of 1 and 2 since 1 is too pink and 2 is too dark.

LOL I love the amount of Boinging going on in this post! I have Erase Paste in medium, which works pretty OK for me, but I’ve never tried Boing! I’m always happy to see companies making an effort to cater to different skin tones though!

I’m boring and white so I can usually find something that matches my skintone (MAC N5), but yay for benefit diversifying at least one of their products! it does seem like their concealers, foundations, etc, don’t have a very wide range.
I prefer Erase Paste to Boing but if you’re darker than, say, Mariah Carey (I’m guessing), you’re out of luck.

I’ve never had any luck with Boi-ing, sadly. The lightest shade suits my skintone, but it creased like crazy on me! Shame, because I need all the help I can get with my hereditary dark circles.

I only use this for spots and works wonderfully. It’s way too thick for under eye area!
Crystal says
It’s great that they have deeper colors now wow!
Kaylyn says
Yes, good for Benefit! I may try out 4 and see how it works for NC42

I’m NC42 and I might try out 04. My friend likes Benefit concealers, and she’s been encouraging me to try them out. 🙂

What concealer do you most often reach for, Karen? I use Boi-ing right now but I definitely need something with better coverage and I’m not sure what to buy next!
Rona says
I agree, this does not work under the eyes but is great for spots and red areas. As for me I’m almost too pale for shade 1!

I’ve never tried this concealer before although it has piqued my interest in the past. I’m glad to see the new shades 🙂

ohhh thank you for reminding me about Boing. i have it and liked it. must use it again soon (to use it up so i can get 04!!!

I love Boing! I don’t use it under my eyes though. I have mild acne and I find its great for covering blemishes. I’m fairly pale and so 01 has always suited me perfectly but its good to hear that they’re finally adding some darker shades!
