Hand on my heart, my hoops and my high hair — today is the day I’m getting serious, y’all. I’m going to set down the Nutella jar and commit to get back into shape.
I will also do my level best to ignore the fact that every time I see one of these $24 Bite Beauty Multisticks…I wanna chomp into it like it’s a Twinkie.
On paper, you totally could eat these multipurpose makeup sticks for eyes, cheeks and lips because, like all Bite Beauty products, they’re made with food-grade ingredients, but I haven’t tried it yet… But ya never know. I probably will. I have licked a lipstick before in the pursuit of makeup curiosity, haha!
So, yeah, you could eat these if ya wanted to (which is nice to know, I suppose), but I don’t know if I’ve ever wanted to wear a creamy reddish brown like Almond on my eyes, my lips and my cheeks at the same time… It seems like it would be a little much, right? Like a dude wearing one too many gold chains?
But nooooo! For some reason, that monochromatic look — wearing matching eyeshadow, blush and lipstick, which is sort of what these are designed for — works with these Multisticks because…
- They have a flawless finish. It’s satiny, so they reflect a touch of light, which makes them eye-catching, but they aren’t glossy or “editorial” in that they look like something you’d only see on runway models or in magazines.
- They’re a perfect balance between a cream and a powder, and when you first apply one to your face (you can use either your fingers or a brush), they feel like a silky, easy-to-blend cream.
But over the course of about five minutes they dry down to a fine, almost imperceptible powder. It’s enough time to blend and play, which is great because if you make any mistakes, you have time correct them.
- They last a pretty long time for a cream-to-powder product. I get about six hours on my eyes (but I do see a little creasing after about 45 minutes, whether I wear them with or without primer, but it’s no big deal), about five hours on my cheeks and four hours on my lips.
- The colors are pure purr-fection. I mean…some of them look cray in the swatches, I know, especially the ones with reddish tones, but they totally work, and not just as blushes or lipsticks, but as eyeshadows, too.
I have to admit that I was skeptical about the whole monochromatic thing until I put Almond (the reddish brown shade I’m wearing in these pics) on my lids, lips and cheeks…
It blew me away! I think it’s lovely and wearable.
I wouldn’t be surprised if teams of Bite Beauty bad-@sses tirelessly tweaked these colors over and over again because they all look purposeful well-conceived, not like someone made them primarily for your eyes or your lips and then treated how they’d look on your cheeks as an afterthought.
I can’t praise these gorgeous sticks enough. I mean, you could be putting on your makeup half-awake and still look like you tried (HUGE plus for me these days, LOL!).
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this idea. On lazy days, I’ll frequently swipe the remnants of my blush brush over my lids (I feel like it makes me look more awake & put together), so I feel like these were maaade for meee. It’s also a really mod look… very chic and minimalist. Gah! I am so in love. I need to get some of these sticks STAT.
Karen says
Hi Shannon,
I feel ya. Sometimes I swipe a little bit of my blush or bronzer into the crease to tie looks together. It’s a fast and easy way to look polished.
OK, so totally off topic, but because of our recent in-depth pizza discussion week I ended up having it twice last week, LOL! Mmmm… pizza!
Shannon says
Hahaha! I’m all about that pizza life, man. Did you make it yourself? We typically order out (like, once a week – cuz we’re just that healthy, lol), but I’m itching to fire up the stove soon so I can whip up my own version of pizzaliciousness. It’s been much too long!

I just posted a review on my Myltistick. I got the shade Lotus and I love it as well! I was surprised how well the product performed on all 3 areas! It’s a great product! Now you’re making me want Alomnd too and I’m a little jealous you have so many colors to choose from!
Karen says
Hi Agata,
The Almond will probably look much more dramatic on you than it does on me since you’re lighter, but I bet the red tones will really compliment your blue eyes!
Speaking of reddish tones, did you ever grab MAC Costa Riche Eye Kohl? It’s a reddish brown that would look amazing on your eyes.
CrystalCandy says
I love the monochromatic look too! They didn’t work for my eyelids (they crease quickly on me) but I love them on my cheeks and lips!
Karen says
Hi CrystalCandy,
These crease a little on me, but I don’t mind is so much (I think it looks kinda cool). I’ve noticed that it depends on how much I apply. If I do a lot of layering, I get more creasing. Have you tried playing with the amount of product on your lids? Maybe if you wear less, it’ll crease less.
Chris25 says
Almond and Brioche look like nice fall shades.
Karen says
Hi Chris,
Yes, they’re both beautiful shades for fall.
yelena says
oh wow Almond looks gorgeous on you! both on eyes and lips! and if you hadn’t told me, I would never have guessed it was the same product much less the same product! LOVE
what do you think about papaya and praline? think these work well for multi tasking too?
Karen says
Hi Yelena,
It’s funny that you should mention those colors, because I wore them the other day to a barbecue! I love them both as lipsticks, blush and eyeshadow. Again, these do crease on my lids, so that’s something to keep in mind. Let me know if you have any other questions about either of them, or any of the other colors!
Pav says
Gosh, I really ‘need’ Almond. You look stunning Karen, have you smudged anything else on your lower lashline? So pretty!
Karen says
Hi Pav,
Almond is super pretty! I think you’d really like it. Keep in mind the creasing on the eyes though! As for my lower lash line, I’m wearing a little bit of MAC Costa Riche Eye Kohl. I applied it to my water line and lower lash line, and then smudged out the lower lash line with Almond. Costa Riche is absolutely beautiful, and one of my MAC faves. I did a Unsung Heroes on it a while back. Do you want me to link it for you?
Pav says
Hey Karen! Thank you so much! I picked up Costa Riche only after I read your Unsung Heroes post (come to think of it, I’ve bought SO much stuff after those posts :-o!!). I’ll try the same thing when I pick up Almond. If you don’t mind me asking, what is your base here ? (especially your concealer, it looks flawless!)
Karen says
Thanks, girl! The foundation is NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tiny, and the under eye concealer is Make Up For Ever HD Concealer set with NARS Translucent Crystal. If you have any q’s about any of the products let me know. ?
Pav says
You are so sweet Karen! Thank you so much, I will check out the concealer soon!
Syah says
ultimate lazy girl makeup! YAS. sign me up!! why wouldn’t you just hoard all of the colors?!
Karen says
Hi Syah,
It *is* the ultimate lazy girl makeup. 😀 What’s even better is that these look amazing on both bare skin and on top of foundation or tinted moisturizer. If you have any questions about the individual shades let me know!

First off, bangs! Teeheeeheehee. I just love saying that. And I still love your bangs. Secondly, NECTAR!! I’ve wanted a purple, grape blush for forever. Doubtful I’ll use it as an eyeshadow. Bonus that it’ll serve as a lippie as well. Gonna struggle like a recovering 80’s disco solid gold dancer who lost her blush & big hair. Can’t choose just one. The browns! The champagnes! The stellar reviews. I’ll hit you up when I buy one or two. Or three 🙂
Karen says
Aww, why not as an eyeshadow? You could totally work it. And can I just say how I LOL’d at the Solid Gold ref? I loved that show back when I was a kid, and my goal in life was to be on that show!
kwmechelle says
Why am I just now seeing this? Am I getting old? Geesh. Anywho, my oil slick eyelids could not handle the creasing. It’ll be like mixing oil with water. I do really well at keeping the creasing to a minimum, if there’s any creasing at all, because I found a system that worked for me. But I’ll take your compliment. And I might even give it a go as a shadow. I lurved solid gold as a kid. I wanted to grow up & be Marilyn McCoo- red lippie, big hair, & all.
Nicole says
These sound so intriguing! I have to try Almond. It looks amazing on you! It makes a really great lip colour! Lovely review 🙂
Karen says
Thanks, Nicole! I hope you give Almond a try.
Adia says
OMG Karen…I want everything! Ever since I saw these online I’ve been dying to try them but was wondering how they’d work on the eyes. I’m so glad to hear that you liked them…now I just gotta pick a color (or 3).
Karen says
Hi Adia!
The finish is perfect, and they look so lovely on the eyes, especially. What colors are you thinking about?
Adia says
I was thinking about brioche, macaron, papaya, cocoa and biscotti. And maybe one of the reds. But they all look good!
Leah Rose says
These look and sound amazing! A multipurpose that actually works for everything! Now just to pick a shade…
Kiss & Make-up says
I think these look GREAT!
Kim says
I am not the biggest fan of multiple use products but these sound great and I love how the colors are so different depending on where they’re used. I mean, it has a monochromatic feel as you say, but it’s not like it looks like the same shade everywhere. If you hadn’t said it was all the same product, I don’t think I would have guessed. Did you find the formula drying on your lips?
Erin says
Kind of perfect for a three product look. TM, a multistick, and mascara!
Elena Riley says
I bought Mascarpone when these launched. I love the finish but I want to pick up a slightly darker shade like Almond. I really like these as a lipstick! I’m glad bite has branched out a little bit product-wise.
Lupe says
You look great! I love the colors. I keep hearing such great things about these.
TravelingBlush says
This is a totally win idea! I do this with my Illamasqua crwam blushes and look rad, if I say so myself. My eye area is a big drier than rest of my face, and crean stuff feels goood.
Btw Karen, I really like this review. On point, concise, yet do not skimp on important facts. E.g.: creasing on minute 45 that is not a big deal – that is just so useful. I love it. No other blogger will make that a point, really. Creasing has become such a big dealbreaker that even a whisper of crease turns people off when, hello?! NO ONE will get that close to your eyes to notice! I think blogs really miss the whole big point of new textures and new mode d’emploi and and.. bigger things and vision because they get so caught up with….. the crease. Blech.
Rant over. For now.
Monika says
Wow! You really sold these to me. I’ve been wearing so much of the same makeup lately, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to wear different colors again. But, I’ve also wanted to work on doing minimalist makeup since my skin has been behaving very well for the first time in years. Would you recommend putting a translucent setting powder and/or primer on the eyes to get the color to crease less on eyelids?
Ana Samuel says
Are these not drying on the lips?
Love your frindge!
Nar says
Thanks for your review Karen, is it possible to have you swatches of Honey Wheat please? As I’m in your skin tone and I’m making decision which shade to buy (I’m outside USA)
Thanks a lot in advance
