Important question for you: what’s your stance on LLTs (Liquid Liner Tips)? If you like stiff tips that don’t have a lot of give to ’em, new MODSTER Easy Ride Supercharged Liquid Liner by Ardency Inn ($20) just might take you for an easy ride.
It’s a jet-black matte liquid liner with pedal-to-the-metal pigment and a long-wearing formula. It just takes one pass to produce a completely opaque line, and this ride likes to go fast! Because Modster dries in less than a minute, you won’t have to worry about it transferring up into your crease.
The only thing is… I don’t know if I’m a good enough driver for this ride. With Modster’s stiff tip (I gravitate toward more flexible tips most of the time), my lines go off road. I usually end up with jagged edges and liner in places it doesn’t belong, which is too bad because I like the formula, the finish and the all-day wear time. I give Modster mad props for pigment, too.
If you like your liners stiff, give it a try. Except for the tip, which is partly a personal preference thing, I think it’s a sweet ride.

I’ve never been good with liquid liner. I’m a gel type of girl. So I actually have NO clue whether I prefer my bristles soft and bendy or stiff, lol.

Hm, I’m a liquid liner newbie so I feel more comfortable with a flexible tip. I feel like I have a bit more control with getting a good line. It sounds like this is a good product for liner experts! I’m just not there yet. 🙂

Being a klutz I need a flexible tip. I’d probably lose an eye with that!

For whatever reason when I first read the title of this post my brain went to lip liners not eye liner. This made me wonder if any makeup company ever tried to develop some sort of liquid lip liner? I know it would probably have a learning curve but it would also allow for incredible precision. All the lip liners I’ve ever seen have been the pencil kind.

I prefer the stiffer ones over the flexible ones, I feel like I have more control then.

I like liner pens with very little give. They help me get perfect lines & winged cat liner. Currently, KVD Trooper is my fave. But the last liner I bought seemed to have more give than I’m accustomed to. One day, when I’m a wealthy lady who lunches over tea in a Lily Pultzer dress wearing a string of pearls sailing on my yacht in Miami, I’m gonna bite the bullet & buy the Tom Ford liquid liner. I hear it’s everything & a bag of chips. And I’m ALWAYS here for a bag of chips 🙂

I love the Ardency Inn supercharged eyeliner in deep purple. It lasts a long time without smearing on me.

I actually love tips that are more rigid, I feel like they give me better control
