$2 Jordana Easyliner: For Easy Eye Color Cheaper Than a Chai Latte

Published in: Drugstore Beauty Finds, Makeup, Product Reviews

Leave it to a drugstore beauty bargain to flog a flu shot-induced malaise. I was feeling a little lethargic after getting my flu shot yesterday, but after swatching these Jordana Easyliner Retractable Pencils (just $2 each!), I immediately felt 100 times better.

Like Eggplant, the first shade I tried, and consequently the first of these I fell in love love with, the rest of these pigmented liners skate across my skin without skipping and last for hours on both my lash and water lines.

Here’s a closer look at 11 of the 13 shades…

PERSNICKETY POINT — I do wish these came with a small pencil sharpener, but for barely two bucks, I can totally deal.

If you’re saving up for Christmas presents, these Easyliners make it easy to sustain a makeup addiction without having to quit cold turkey. :)

PRICE: $2 each
AVAILABILITY: Available at Walgreens and also online

Okay, I cannot believe that it’s already Wednesday. Nope, no way. The calendar must be wrong.

In other news, how are you doing this morning? Busy day so far?

  1. Oh I totally love them and probably gonna buy on eBay or somewhere if they are available for shipping to India… and there is something wrong with jordanacosmetics site.. it won’t open up.

  2. Ariana says:

So pretty I love the Jordana pencils with the gold cap though, and my grandma loves them too!! lol

  3. Christina says:

I’m crushing hard on seagreen! I guess I’m in a green mood nowadays :)

Right now, I’m chilling in a dining hall on campus while listening to a lecture podcast I missed last Friday because my dry lab for o chem took so dang long XD I had one of those realizations how starting next week things are going to be hectic ’cause of upcoming midterms. But once midterms are over, I get to celebrate my birthday with just worrying about a lab report :) Sure, it’s still four weeks away but it’s my light at the end of the tunnel X)

    • Karen says:

Ah, memories of college! I can’t say that I miss o-chem lab, LOL!

How exciting that your birthday is right around the corner. Are you doing anything (besides the lab report) to celebrate?

  4. Shakiyla says:

That’s a great deal for $2! The Denim Blue is really striking, even though blue’s not really my color. I’ll bet it looks awesome on you, though, being a blue-friendly gal! :)

    • Karen says:

That’s my second fave color. :) Hmm… they have a line of glittery pencils called Glitter Rocks that might be more your style. I have them on my to-try list and will let you know if they’re good.

      Is it Friday yet?!

      • Kim says:

Ooh, yes please! Save me from my browns (because you know I can’t resist the glitter)! :)

OMG, almost. It’s been that kind of week, hasn’t it? On a funny note, I ordered a unitard yesterday (to go under my Halloween costume). Can’t wait to see how fabulous that looks! HAHA!

  8. Trisha says:

Good idea on these for Xmas presents! They’d go really well in people’s stockings.

I always liked these. They go on smooth and are well worth the pricetag.

    • Karen says:

      IT’S TOO MUCH CUTENESS!

      I (ALMOST) CAN’T TAKE IT!

Are they part Bengal? What lovely marbled sides they have!

      • Instant Karma says:

Nope, just normal silver tabbies! They have such bold coats, though. I have no idea how this happened, lol. They’re impossibly adorable.

Gizmo LOVES them (she also just squawked at me, which I’m going to assume is a greeting meant for you and Tabs :D). She’s been very welcoming and watches them all the time. She’s just started to play with them; I think she was hesitant for a while because she’s so much bigger than they are and didn’t want to scare them. Also, she routinely touches noses with them and they all purr at each other. Who knew she’d be a perfect kitten ambassador?

        • Karen says:

I love their markings. They look like bookends! SERIOUSLY. I may explode from all the cuteness.

So I’m really glad to hear Gizmo is being a good big sister. I know you were worried about her for a second there.

Has it been hard keeping up? To go from two to four is a huge step! More food, more poop, more playtime, more snuggles… Yes, I’m jealous.

    • artemis says:

      sooo cute! hehehe

  14. Coral says:

I was looking for a dark brown eyeliner and look at what comes along at the right time. Especially counting my experience with the first liner, I will definitely pop into the store to buy a couple more. Those colors really are gorgeous.

  15. Barb says:

Wow, for $2 a pop, these colors are freaking gorgeous! I’ll be getting some soon :)

  16. Joyce says:

I never heard of this drugstore brand, probably because I rarely shop at Walgreens. I don’t have one near me. I usually go to Target, Walmart or Duane Reade, but $2 sounds like an awesome deal for an eyeliner.

For 2 bucks, they are awesome!

All the colours are very pretty!

And they surely don’t look like they cost 2 bucks! what with the gold-colored lettering, and retractability. So luxe!

Hee! I’m going to Walgreens this weekend! (Yeah, it’s Wednesday already, and it will be Friday soon!) As I’ve said before, I love Jordana lipliners. They’re as good as any of the high end liners. Before we got Walgreens here, I could only find Jordana lipliners and occasionally lipsticks or glosses at dollar stores. I’m looking forward to exploring the entire line. Definitely going to pick up Denim Blue and Eggplant!

  21. Maggie A. says:

I love colored eye liners but I am always too cheap to splurge on new colors! This is the perfect excuse to experiment! Walgreens here I come!!!

  22. mn says:

Thanks for all of the swatches Karen- you’re the best. The blue liners seem to have a sheen to them (and I’m all about the glitter and glimmer) so I am going to have to pick up the blue denim one for sure.

    • Karen says:

You’re welcome, MN. Oh, guess what! This line also has glitter liners. I haven’t tried them out yet… I hope they’re just as nice as these.

How’s your week going so far? Is it Friday yet? LOL

  23. Lisa says:

I agree with the perfect price to try new colors. When I was in college I used wooden Jordana pencils unceasingly. I loved the chubby ones they had then. I used a color much like seagreen practically everyday. Soooo pretty. I am interested in Bliss would love to see if that could hold up on my waterline,

  24. Sherri says:

I’m so getting some of these, Jordana is a very under rated drugstore brand. I have the pencil eyeliners and I love them :)

  25. Hannah says:

Karen!! Lavish Brown has been my HG eyeliner for years! It’s the few ways I can line my eyes black without that dreaded blue shine I got from “black” eyeliners! It just happens to come at a great price and retractable ;)

  26. Your products and the way you suggest them is very good and the Jordana pencils is so much good to use. I am feeling so happy.

  27. artemis says:

    they look good, wow

  28. Miranda says:

Wow, those are all so pretty! Im going to have to check these out! Finding a new good eyeliner is always a plus =)

  29. Dipali says:

I love these liners…I picked up Blue and black couple of weeks back and love it…I think I should go back and get more colors now!

  30. mulberrytea says:

I wasn’t really a fan of the Jordana wooden eyeliners, but I’m glad to see that these look fabulous! They remind me of Maybelline’s Master Drama liners, but even cheaper.

Blue Denim and Seagrass are my favorites from your swatches. Hopefully I can find them soon! I haven’t seen Jordana products at NYC Walgreens or Duane Reades though. Must look carefully…

  31. Aimee says:

I love these liners. Are so pretty and easy to put on.
