As a participant in the Nuvesse Tired Eyes, Puffiness & Dark Circles One-Month Regimen Kit Test, I received product samples and compensation for my time and effort. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are always my own. nuvesse.com #sponsored
You know what?
I look like a whole new girl! 🙂
OK, well, maybe not completely new…but my biggest hope from the get-go in testing the 30 Day Tired Eyes, Puffiness & Dark Circles Regimen Kit by Nuvesse ($95) was that my dark circles would improve, and I’d be able to wear less makeup in that area. And with less makeup, my under-eye area would look more natural and less cake-y.
I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve boarded the train to Cake-ville with concealer many times over the past few years, and I just don’t want to do that anymore, since it makes me look older than my 41 years.
What is Nuvesse?
“Nuvesse Skin Therapies, Inc. was founded in 2004 and developed a propriety wound-healing technology, HealSmart Personalized Woundcare System (HealSmart™). The company realized that the application of its newest active delivery technology, Cellulation™ Technology, to skin care had the potential to yield superior benefits and reach and launched its first skin therapy portfolio of products in mid-2014 into the aesthetic medical channel. After further refinement the company just launched its new consumer brand, Nuvesse.”

Results & Conclusion: Definitely Better!
After using all four mask sets and the serum roller religiously for 30 days, I’m happy to say that my dark circles look much less intense than they did when I started.
They aren’t as intensely purple as they used to be, and they look overall lighter. They also don’t, um…spread out as far as they used to, so I don’t have as much area to cover.
I’ve pretty much quit using color corrector on the daily. Now I just use a little concealer in the inner corners of my under-eye area and a bit of setting powder. Just the tiniest bit! And that’s it.
What I don’t know yet is how long the changes I’ve seen will last after I haven’t used the masks or the serum roller for a while.
Of course, ya know, it would’ve been wonderful if my dark circles had completely disappeared back to when I was 21 years old and didn’t have to bother with them, but let’s be real. That was probably never going to happen, but it makes me wonder if things would keep improving if I kept using the regimen. If I’m already seeing a difference after the first month, it seems like it’s possible.
Video Review
Using the Mask Sets and the Serum Roller
Just like I did in the first two weeks, I took pictures and video to track my results over the rest of the month.
Pretty Good for 1 Month
I really enjoyed doing this and seeing a visible change at the end. I didn’t expect a miracle, but I’m kind of addicted to the masks now. I think I might keep using them. Even beyond what they did for my dark circles, it’s always fun to spend a little meow time spoiling yourself, right?

I’m trying out gel eye masks for dark circles right now. If they don’t work I may try this next!
Karen says
Hi Tanya,
Keep me posted and let me know how your gel masks go! And if you decide to give Nuvesse a try.
Agata says
Oh wow, the results are definitely there! My dark circles have been pretty prominent recently too, even after I conceal them (unless it’s just all in my head lol)
Karen says
Hi Agata,
Dark circles sometimes get darker, unfortunately. Maybe you might want to try a different concealer? Which one are you using now? There’s also the option of adding in a color corrector, although it’s an additional step.
Kiss & Make-up says
Not bad, I’m impressed! Can definitely see the difference.
Karen says
Me too. I’m so happy there was a visible difference at the end.
Chris25 says
It looks like it definitely makes a difference!
Karen says
Hi Chris,
I think it does too! 🙂
Christine says
Yes, very noticeable difference [omg that headband so cutes]. Just curious, did you change anything else during the time period, such as increased water consumption, change in diet, amount of sleep, etc., or kept everything else pretty much the same?
Karen says
Hi Christine,
Girl, I wish I got more sleep!!! I kept everything the same and didn’t do anything different. The only change was I caught a cold halfway though. That’s it!
Fran says
I think those are very impressive results in 30 days!
At my age, the caking under my eyes is hard to avoid, and looks worse than my dark circles (although to be fair, mine are not that horrible).
Things that seem to help, for me, makeup-wise, are:
Using Smashbox hydrating undereye primer in addition to eye cream in the winter, when my undereye skin gets dehydrated.
Using Paula’s Choice eye cream (even though it’s thick and weird, it really sinks in).
Using a pressed-down tissue to remove excess emollience, either before or after applying concealer.
Using the tiniest amount of concealer possible.
Using the tiniest amount of setting powder possible.
In the winter, switching to NARS Light-Reflecting Setting Powder for my undereye area, then dusting a tiny bit of my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in that direction while I set the rest of my face.
Karen says
Hi Fran,
These are all great tips. Totally with you on using the least amount of product possible under there. This was a lesson I had to learn the hard way, but alas, I learned it!
Do you use the loose or the pressed version of the NARS powder? I use the pressed one and I looooove it.
Fran says
I got the pressed because it seemed like it would be faster and easier (and really do like it, although I have to be careful not to use too much), but I’ve heard that the loose might be even better.
What’s your favorite kind of brush for getting a really light application with it? I’m using a synthetic paddle-type foundation brush from Make Up For Ever because it seems like I can really control how much powder I pick up, but I’m not 100% satisfied with the application. I fell like I want to dust it on with something fluffier, but my fluffier brushes seem to want to pick up more powder than I want. My foundation/concealer often has a bit of emollience left in it, so I hate to use my really fancy natural bristle brushes (like my Wayne Goss Artist brush) for this, even though it would probably work well.
Kim says
I definitely see the change – though I feel it’s fair to point out that I didn’t think your dark circles were bad to begin with. Still, they’re pretty undetectable in the after pic. Money well spent! 🙂
I’m counting on you to find the non-surgical cure for droopy eyelids and crow’s feet next.
Karen says
Hi Kim,
I’m happy with the results! I definitely feel like I look less tired. I might still feel tired (LOL!), but at least I look less zombie-esque.
If I ever find that non-surgical miracle, you’ll be the first to know!
Patricia says
There is definitely less darkness. What steps are necssary to continue improvement or maintain the improvement?
Karen says
Hi Patricia,
I think I’d have to keep on using the kit for a few more months to see continued improvement. I still have half a bottle left of the serum roller, so I’m going to use that until every last drop is gone! I’m hoping I’ll be able to stretch it out for at least another month.
Erin says
It certainly helped you! I’m not sure if I’d see the same type of results. I’ve got thin skin and a ton of veins under my eyes which is what makes half the problem. I think I need filler 🙁
Chelsea says
Girl, your before is what I would consider great! I have pretty fair skin though, and allergies. I have big purple circles.
Kimm says
You will have to let us know how long it lasts for! I definitely need that kit! Also where did you get that cute kitty headband? I love it!
