I am definitely checking this out. Looks like a very cool exhibit. When I went to Chicago a few years back, I went to the Field Museum and saw the Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years: Style Beyond Wardrobe exhibit. Oh my! It was simply amazing!

How about this beautifully simple strapless bal dress with a single black sash sweeping in front? ouch! timeless. Everything is beautiful. And perfect. The details, the beadings, the appliqués, (like this fishscale dress?, or the Van Gogh boleros?) Art. Really has its place in a museum.
btw people were taking pics in MTL and no one yelled at them…hmm at least when i went. (and i went twice)
