I just finished the WHOLE Twilight series thanks so much for the recommendation.
I wouldn't have known this book existed without your blog since I'm not really in the loop. But then I also saw that there was a trailer for the upcoming movie and I was like damn this book is getting a lot of hype.

Might as well give it a shot, and I loved it... Very very enjoyable read, I just had very minor issues about her writing style. Sometimes a little repetitive, and corny.

Now I'm working on the host, it doesn't grab me a hard as twilight but I hope I enjoy it too.

If I may also recommend some books. I haven't read them in years but I loved them when I read them and my copies have broken down since I've read them so much.

But please do check out L.J. Smith - Night world series. Stories involving Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and shapeshifters and the humans they fall in love with which goes against the Night World rules.
Most of these books can only be found used on amazon since they are no longer in print individually, but the author is now reprinting them as sets of three
My favorites from the series were Soulmate (the 1st one I read that got me hooked, even though its #6 in the series I didn't feel confused), Black Dawn, The Chosen, Daughters of Darkness.

I just absolutely love books with those epic kind of romances. Thats probably why I read a fair share of smutty romances. And watch a lot of korean dramas. Which I also recommend you give a try as well.

My beauty horror story is from back when I was about 10 years old and starting to experiment with makeup. I knew that some people used eye liner, lip pencil and occasionally used pencils on their eyebrows. One day my friend and I were putting on makeup and we decided to 'fill in' our eyebrows. Well, needless to say that from that day on I've realized that black eye liner is probably best left off your eyebrows. Especially if you have bleach blonde hair and blue eyes. So, I am sure you can all imagine the scary picture. Thank goodness no one took a picture! Thanks for the chance.

I LOVE the Twilight books! I'd die of happiness to get the new one! I'd have to say most of my beauty horror stories come from my hair experiments. I have dark, naturally curly hair. I've always had it long and wore it down. I got bored after so many years of it being the same, so i cut it short my senior year. A student cosmetologist cut and styled it for me, so i was weary of how it would look. When the final cut was down, i actually liked it. But after a few weeks, i started missing my hair so i decided i would let it grow out. Now, the layers are growing out and my hair is a blast from the past. I'm basically walking around with an 80s mullet. And i can never get my hair to look decent now.

Beauty horror story you say? Oh goodness.

Lets just say I didn't always have a keen sense of what looked great on me makeup and hair wise.

Example 1: My 8th grade senior pic. Picture caterpillar brows, frizzed up poofy pyramid head hair and dark brown lipstick.

Example 2: In the 8th grade I would also religiously rock the white eyeliner and frosty pink lipstick. Did not look good on my nw20 self

Example 3: All through college I rocked tadpole brows, bright eye makeup (think bright blues and greens)with nothing on the face (no blush, no foundation, nothig) and completely unflattering lip colors.

I just look back at photographic evidence of all my blunders and shudder.

Great idea for a contest btw! Team Eddie ;)
