With fall fever in full effect wherever cosmetics are found, it’s easy to forget it’s still summer, LOL!
Well, Nails Inc. has six little reasons to remember. The trendy summer shades in their $25 Neon & Nude Collection set of six mini-nail polishes are ready for your nails now at Sephora stores and also online. 🙂
(And between you and me, they look just as adorable on nails as they do in the box.)
For these swatches, I’m wearing two layers of each of the nudes and three layers of the neons.
Knotting Hill Gate
Portobello
Westbourne Grove
Cadogan Square
Jermyn Stree
Porchester Square
Ah… Nothin’ like bright nails to put a smile on your face early on a Tuesday morning. 🙂
Speaking of that, good morning, glory! What are you up to today? Wearing anything neat on your nails?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I really like all the colors. Portobello’s beautiful!
Morning. 🙂 I’m wearing opi mod about you and essie shine the times to top it. I just felt like using shine of the times. lol

That Westbourne Grove shade reminds me of mangoes. I should really try it out at Sephora if they have sample bottles out. Does it lean more yellow or orange in real life? I’m on a quest to find yellow nail polish that doesn’t make my Asian-ness more apparent.
Right now I have on China Glaze Fast Track, with Layla Hologram Effect (Mercury Twilight) on my ring fingers. (If you can swipe a bottle of the Layla Hologram Effect it’s worth a review. All sorts of shiny 80s sticker hologram up in here.) I rarely wear accessories for work so I gotta be cute and feminine somehow. This accent finger thing still hasn’t gotten any no-nos from HR, so I’m keeping it. I love loud nail colors, but I would give nasty looks to those ladies with crazy tacky nail art in the work place. “DAYUM giiiiiiirl this is a professional environment it ain’t no night clhurb!” kind of face is what I do.

I have Westbourne Grove but for some reason it’s not shiny at all, it’s all matte, which is very weird. I am wearing pink China Glaze polish with glittery tips and I love it 🙂
The nude shades look pretty, perfect colors for fall.
Kiss & Make-up says
Portobello looks amazing! Love that color.
I’m wearing nail art today. I put on a nude base, and used black nail polish to stamp a floral design on each nail. I finished it off with a glossy top coat. I actually wanted to put pics of it on my blog, but I decided to wait until my nails are a bit longer again. Chopped them all off this week 🙂

I love the neon shades 🙂

Karen,
Love these swatches and the color payoff from these little polishes. One question though. Are they as shiny as they look in the photos or did you have a shiny top coat on?
Ruchita says
These are pretty! I love Knotting Hill Gate and Portobello. Right now my fingernails are bare, I’ve got China Glaze Kinetic Candy on my toes. I’m long overdue for a pedicure, so I plan to change out my nail color this week. I think I might go with a pink or orange color next.

I love Jermyn Stree! x

I love the neon pink and the dusty rose! Does it wear well?

I love all these colors but especially Portobello!
This week I’m wearing a deep purple with lots of gold microglitter in it. I’m not sure what the color is called but it’s from a kit I picked up from ULTA’s store brand last summer.
Kim says
Notting Hill Gate and Portobello are such bright, happy colors! 🙂
Btw, I forgot to ask what you thought of Sunday’s TB. I don’t want to give anything away in case you haven’t seen it, but I thought of you immediately at the end. 🙁

I have Orly Beach cruiser, waouh everyone stares when I wear it ! We do have Nails Inc here but they’re quite expensive ( 14 € so far I remember ), that’s why I ordered some Orly, Zoya, Essie and China Glaze nail polishes, hoping to order 2 Deborah Lippmann soon !
marisol says
I’m wearing Orly’s Rage which is a rose gold color. Love it!
I tried this brand before & seems that the consistency of the polishes is kind of gloopy. Wasn’t a fan.
Jessica says
What I love most about this is that it comes in a set and wasn’t just released as a collection! They’re very cute shades.
I’m wearing Zoya Midori because I’m on a lime green kick!
LauraA says
I’ve been on the fence about this collection, mostly because I’ve had rotten luck with bright yellow nail polishes just not looking quite right. I have had good luck with the rest of the Nails Inc. polishes I’ve picked up, particularly last fall’s collection that had a nice golden caramel color. These examples have definitely tipped me over into the category of “must get”.
Am currently wearing a bright fuschia Avon color that I’ve had for a couple of years. The bottle’s almost gone, but it’s lovely for summer.

The neon shades are gorgeous!
Becca @ The Beauty Sample says
Holy crap, Jermyn Street is SO freaking beautiful! And Portabollo is too–I was eyeing this from Sephora but passed…now definitely regretting that. Have to see if they carry it in-stores here
Nikki says
I love neon nails! And the Westbourne Grove color is gorgeous! I really love mixing neons and neutrals together to make nail art or just alternate fingers.
Marian says
This is a fabulous collection! I’d use every one of those colors!
Joyce says
I’m usually not a fan of bright, neon colors and I prefer to wear the classic pink nail polish, but Portobello is calling my name! It looks so fun and summery.
Bun Bun Makeup Tips says
Portobello looks like a very wearable yet look-at-me color! Would love to have it on my nails!
Swatch And Learn says
The neons are spectacular!
You’re right – it seems like I’ve been having quite a case of fall fever with all the gorgeous rich fall shades. I need to wear something neon again soon!
beautyp0p says
I love neon colors !!!!!!!!!!!!
Nina says
May I take both, please? *bats lashes*
Amy says
Portobella is gorgeous!
Emi at Project Swatch says
Nails Inc is one of my favorite brands, and these are really lovely!
Jane says
I just picked up a full size Portobello at Sephora today. Can’t wait to try it. I almost got the mini set, but when it comes down to it, I’m just not that fond of nude polishes so I decided to get something that screams summer and fun.
