Well, hello bronze. Things are certainly looking sun-kissed and smoldering over at Tom Ford Beauty this spring, and I, for one, am lurving it. 🙂
“I have always loved the look of tanned, glowing skin, whether it is achieved with bronzing powder or with a natural tan.”

I’m surprised that Tom decided to release this as a spring collection, what with all the gold and bronze and the metallic finishes that seem more typical of summer to me than spring.
Not that I’m complaining. I live for summery colors, so I say bring on the bronze! Heck, they could have released this in winter, and I would have said, “That’s a little weird, but okay.” 🙂 No complaints from this end of the peanut gallery.
Matter of fact, you know where colors like these really come into their own this time of year? On the French Riviera.
We should go (assuming I hit the next Mega Millions). We could hang out at a fancy five-star resort, and you better believe I’d be rocking my board shorts and muÊ»umuÊ»u while we’re there.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Cream Colour for the eyes….they look so yummmmmmm..especially illicit!!

I laughed when I saw that you swatched the nail polishes on your skin. 😉
The colors are gorgeous. I have honestly never spent that much on a nail polish, but I am considering Burnished Rogue! I request a full manicure with it please!
Gina says
OH MY GOD Burnished Rouge looks incredible!
Rae // theNotice says
Oh my goodness! These swatches look AMAZING, Karen. I have to agree that they look more Summer than Spring, but it’s awesome to see a brand that isn’t afraid to mix it up a bit!
Gorgeous photos, as always! 😉
Beth says
Please do on the nail swatches!

I have always loved the look of Tom Ford cosmetics & I was so excited to finally visit a counter a few months ago… Oh my goodness I have never met a ruder SA in my life. She hovered over my shoulder the entire time and after I politely refused her offer to “re-do my entire face” (yes, that’s an exact quote) she continued hovering & insisting (“I sure wish you’d let me…”) until I finally just got so uncomfortable I left. Maybe this was her goal?
Nonetheless, it’s left a bad taste in my mouth about TF products, which is unfortunate :-/.

I love the cream shadows.
So how much does it cost to rent a tabby?:D

That gold lipgloss is gorgeous! The red is pretty, too.

Oh my, I sure hope they will be available in the UK by May… In another of my London trip and my birthday month too! 😉
Love the Cream eyeshadows. Wondering how Platinum and Spice look like….
Crystal says
Wow everything looks so pretty!

Hmm I like Guilt (can’t resist a good gold), and Silver Smoke looks mega interesting! Beautiful Pewter shade right there!
Nina says
Speechless. This collection is beautiful.
Maybe this will be the one that will break my Tom Ford V. 😀
Karen says
If you decide to make the jump, maybe start with the polishes! I just swatched the polishes last night and they are kind of amazing. The light shades are one coaters! I will have to test them for wear next, but so far, so good.
Is there a Tom Ford counter near you? You gotta go and play with the polishes, blushes and perfume!
Nina says
I have a thing where I always always w/o fail do nailpolish during spring and summer. I think its to celebrate warm weather!
There’s one over @ Neimans. I might check it out in person this coming week. 🙂
Karen says
Good for you. I’m convinced that painting nails is a way of saying “I love you” to yourself! It’s important.
EEK! Good luck resisting the polishes. Oh and the blushes. 😀
Nina says
im thinking of the blushes actually. so much so that i cannot get them out of my mind. LOL. :d
birthday month though so a little splurge might be justified!
Cindy (Prime Beauty) says
Oh my gosh, this collection is amazing! All the metallic finishes remind me of Holiday–ya know the usual gold, silver and red. Who cares, it’s fab!! Too bad I don’t have a TF counter near me. My daughter works for Nordy’s and she was gifted with not one but TWO Tom Ford full size perfumes!
Krista says
Gorgeous colours, but too expensive, $30 for a nail polish is out of my price range!
Kim says
These colors are gorgeous, though I agree they remind me of summer more than spring. That said, the Burnished Rouge polish looks like it would be winner on the toes, year-round! 🙂
Bibi S says
This collection looks stunning! I love the eye creams and the polishes! I like the polish swatches on skin but wish I could see them on nails too.
Karen says
I will do that soon. I just wanted to get them up quickly to give you an idea of the colors. 🙂
Anna says
What color is your top pick for the summer? Does Tom do creamy pastels?
