The same thing happens to me! I’ve started using Labbri Lip Treatment and I’m starting to believe this is the one I’ve been looking for. It goes on really light so it doesn’t leave a residue and works really well under gloss. It’s also all natural and makes my lips feel so nice. It’s a little more pricey than your typical lip balm but it’s well worth it. only has four ingredients and is the closest thing to a home remedy that really works. I purchased it from the Dermstore.

I use Smith’s Rosebud Salve like crazy when my lips are chapped. Definitely helps!

I swear by Crazy Rumors’ lip balms. They’re all natural and vegan, and they work very well to soothe lips, especially if you warm them up a bit before use.
