I gotta give snaps to MBB reader Heidi (and her fabulous kitteh Missy!) for introducing me to today’s MAC Unsung Hero, Oh Baby Lipglass ($14.50).
A few months ago Heidi urged me to give this sheer-to-medium coverage bronze gloss a go, so I did, and now it’s my JAM!
Oh Baby kisses lips with a glittery golden bronze that looks particularly great paired with bronze and teal eyeshadows.
I wear it when I want a little somethin’-somethin’ on my kisser but don’t want to go the peachy pink route via MAC Nymphette or Evolution Revolution. At times like those, it totally hits the spot.
Oh, baby, have you met this lipglass yet? 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

It’s a great color. Do you wear it on its own, or do you pair it with other lipsticks/lip pencils?
Stef says
My first MAC purchase too! It will forever make me smile. I love it alone, and over Spice lip liner too.

I always find something new in MAC’s perm collection, but I keep getting distracted by the new products coming out! 🙂

Maybe I can get this instead of Social Light. It would save me the misery when I run out of Social Light.

Well, how exciting to check in today and see this! I won’t tell Missy she got a mention in the post, though. Lord knows her ego and attitude is big enough today!
Glad you’re loving it, Karen. It looks great on you!

I love Oh Baby! It was one of the first MAC purchases I ever made. I saw a friend wearing it and it looked so pretty that I asked her what she had on. I had to go to the MAC counter and get one for myself. That was years ago and it’s still one of my favorites.

I know this post is supposed to showcase the lips, but it’s your EYES that are blowing me away in these pictures (and in the BoS IV tutorial, of course). That look is fantastic on you!

“Oh Baby” is a brown-girl staple, and I think would work on other chicas with warm skin tones. I LOVE “Oh Baby” and have worn it for years. I’m a NC 55 for reference.

karen! lol.. this was my first lip glass… now its almost taboo for black women in my area to ask for chestnut lip liner and oh baby lip glass! ha! though when i first started wearing it, i bumped into women of all backgrounds wearing this!
