Published in: MAC Makeup

WOW! What a MAC-alicious week… And the hits keep coming, too. Mark your calendars for Feb. 18, MAC fans, because that’s the day MAC Riveting rock ‘n rolls into town.

It’ll be a small release compared to Spring Colour Forecast, with just 14 pieces for lips, eyes, cheeks and nails and a familiar ’80s rock goddess vibe that focuses on sculpted cheeks and lush lashes.

What Tabs wants to know is…

What would you get?

  1. Devs says:

I have got my eye on the dirty plum blush and true babe lipglass! Dirty plum looks very unique

  2. Stephie says:

Is it just me or is MAC slightly raising the prices on things nowdays. Usually their blushes are $16 but for this collection its $18.50. :/ Not to mention, my Ripe Peach blush [which I quite love] was $25 but a MSFs around that size are normally $22 right? Hmm, maybe I’m just so strapped for Gs I’m just barely starting to notice XD

This is collection is cute but I doubt I’ll pick anything up. I’ll just wait for those lashes to hit up the outlet 😛

    • DonnaN says:

I birdie told me that these will be the new “normal” prices….yes, a PRICE INCREASE is on it’s way!

    • Jasmine says:

I will be getting dirty plum blush but waiting until the Give me Liberty/London (whatevs) collection in March to get it with special packaging! It will be hard to wait but I’m going to do it.

I kinda sorta want Show Orchid too.

      • Jasmine says:

Oops I also meant to say I think the last blushes and MSFs I bought were 18.50 and 27 dollars. I do think 25 for the blush ombres was pretty pricey.

  3. Rebecca says:

I would get… the Nail Lacquer in Studded (I really want more matte polishes), Lip Glass in True Babe (I love pink lip glosses), and the lipstick in Metal Maven (I think it could look really cool layered with other lipstick).

  4. Briana says:

I would get: Bubbles lipstick, True Babe lipglass, and Black Enough? Nail polish. Love the colors 🙂

  5. DonnaN says:

If I have anything left after Spring Color, then Rock Out lipglass is the only thing out of this collection that’s a must-have for me!

  6. mill says:

just the 188 even though its not LE….but the show orchid lipstick looks OMG

  7. Solé says:

I have Snow Orchid. Bought it last summer, and it is all kinds of awesome. Looks great with Magenta liner. I was looking for a fuchsia blush last summer, and no one had one. MAC was listening. 🙂 True Plum is the perfect plum blush for winter that I was looking for when I could still shop. Go figure I find it now that I have no dinero. And the nail lacquers also look good for winter but I won’t be wearing those shades in April.

  8. Pam says:

None of these are must have for me, but if in answer to the question I’d choose: the eye liner in Rapidblack, the lipstick in Show Orchid, the nail lacquer in Studded.

  9. Vonvon says:

Wow!! I like the lippie colors…Show Orchid, Metal Maven and Bubbles! The type of colors for the last 2, though quite pale, has always attracted me…..

and I would get the small duo fiber brush #188 for my MSF.

  10. Glosslizard says:

I’m intrigued by Metal Maven lipstick and Rock Out gloss, but I need to see swatches first!

  11. marisa says:

show orchid! i’ve been waiting to get it and haven’t felt like venturing to the pro store. yay 🙂

  12. Trisha says:

Of everything, probably the Wham Bam Glam nail lacquer. For some reason, I’m just really fond of that brown.

I am thinking about True Babe lipgloss and the matte nailpolishes.

  15. kitty says:

i like this collection a lot! the promo snap is pretty hot, too ^^ want:

show orchid, riveting, and bubbles l/s

    full fuchsia blush

    wham, bam, glam n/l

  16. Pinch says:

I’d choose Show Orchid and Bubbles lipstick, and Full Fuchsia blush. Dirty Plum looks like it would cause people to offer me shelter and a fake ID 🙂

I love Show Orchid on pale girls, I hope I could pull it off 🙂

  17. gio says:

I like the blushes, but they aren’t must haves for me, so I doubt I’ll get anything from this collection.

  18. Sharon says:

I like Show Orchid and the True Babe lipglass, and the fuchsia blush… love the bright colours. The Dirty Plum blush looks like a very close match to some Annabelle powder blush I have, which looks awful on me so I’m getting rid of it.

  19. Tiffany says:

The only thing I really want is the 188 brush, which is in the regular line, LOL

  20. Chris says:

I am new to the world of MAC, but do they always release so many special collections. They’ve done, what, six since the beginning of the year? I would go broke just trying to keep up. I have to pick and choose just what I really want.

    • LiLi says:

Yep– it’s the beast that is MAC. They hook you with Limited Edition stuff so you can’t put off purchasing for fear of it selling out!! However, Christine does a good job of letting you know what items are actual LE’s, what are perms, and what are repromotes. Like in this collection, Show Orchid and Full Fushia are perm at Pro stores. If you’re wanting something Limited or a repromote, I’d suggest purchasing those first, as you can buy the other stated from the pro website or store anytime you like.

  21. BeckBeck says:

Hmmm. I’d go with… the 188 (I’m not thrilled with my current skunk and would like a smaller diameter), Studded nail polish, and… maybe either Riveting lipstick or Rock Out lipglass, I’m not sure. This collection is a little louder than my normal look so I’m not sure how much wear I’d get out of the items, but I could totally rock the polish on weekends, and lip products are soooo flexible.

  22. Emily says:

wowzies!!!! I’m looking FWD to the Bubbles l/s and the Rock Out l/g!!!

  23. Hmmm I think I would get Show Orchid (I might actually get that IRL), Metal Maven (so different!), and Rock Out l/g!

Thanks so much for this award, I saw it lately on the blogosphere and I was wishing for someone to tag me! I’m so glad it is you, cause you have such a great and highly appreciated blog!

Anyway, you named your fish Bruce Lee? That’s hilarious! :)))

    Have a super fun day

  28. Tami says:

I would choose Bubbles, Metal Maven and Rock Out:)

  29. styleezta says:

I love full fuschia blush, Rock out lipglass and the duo fibre brush! Will you be doing any reviews or swatches??

  30. Stephanie Zaide says:

    True Babe lipglass
    Studded nail polish
Penultimate liner (been dying to try this!)

  31. knownever says:

purple blush seems to be a trend-let this season. i’m very into how 80s and blade runner the idea of it is. I do wonder how many people could pull it off in real life though…I’m also very interested to see how the lip products swatch.

  32. mkdallas says:

Actually, I’m not really feeling the love for any of this collection. This is not a bad thing, because I’ve been in haulage overdrive for about a month and don’t need any more temptation.

  33. Britney says:

    I so love MAC products…. I don’t think I could choose….MMMMM….MAC

  34. lexi says:

I like the Riveting lipstick and that’s pretty much it. I wish they’d introduce new Lustreglass colors – I am not a fan of Lipglass.

  35. Nina says:

I would LOVE both blushes. Emphases on BOTH!!!

  36. Saku says:

I’m liking show orchid and studded.

  37. Mylala88 says:

I’m liking both those blushes for their off the wall colors! I think I like show orchid too but I’ll have to see in person if it has enough elements of berry in it for me!

  38. Darcey says:

Call me crazy but the riveting lipstick seems very cool and edgy. Reminds me of Eden Rocks.

  39. Joyce McDaniel says:

Love the collection. I love Mac products and think they stay on longer than other competitors.
    Keep on going Mac
