BOO! My MAC Smokey Eyes for Halloween

Hey, ghouls! I’m on my way to a pet costume Halloween parade (insert collective “Awww…”) before dinner but wanted to say another quick hi. Here’s my look for tonight. I didn’t feel up to one of those deluxe MAC Halloween looks, and, since we’re just going out to dinner, opted instead for this moderately scary smokey eye with false lashes and pink lips.

I used MAC false lashes and a bunch of pigments to get this eye look, including Dark Soul, Smoke Signal and Your Ladyship from last year’s Smoke Signals collection.

    OMG Karen I love this! I did an Elphaba (from Wicked)-inspired green look that isn’t nearly as sexy. More like mildly creepy–but I loved it lol!

    Awesome eye look ! But whats even more gorgeous is your hair. I love the loose waves ! My hair is straight and way down to my waist …I do almost nothing with it. Your are inspiring me to try something. Could you please do a post on how you did your hair for this picture :)

    I also rocked a smokey eye tonight. I’m sure mine wasn’t nearly as good, but that’s okay :)

    I just got home from the NYC Halloween parade. It was a blast and I’m so ready for bed right now.

    You always look pretty, but you look HOT lol. While handing out candy last night I read for a Japanese history course. I was happy because the book mentioned that Shiseido’s first postwar product was a “nail stick” to paint fingernails, but it looked like lipstick. I love when beauty pops up in random places :)

    Very fierce, Karen! This is the kind of Halloween makeup I like :D I hope your H-ween was fun! We don’t really celebrate it here in Finland, which is weird. It would be fun to be dressed in a funny costume once a year. Is that too much to ask?!? LOL. Thanks for the Vitamin C tip, by the way!     Sure! I think it’s the Bumble and Bumble products I’ve been using… my hair is really fussy, but it responds well to the Curl Conscious stuff. Do you have wavy hair, too?

    Hi Angeli,

    It’s a mix of three things: Chanel Lip Liner in pretty pink, MAC Modesty lipstick and Chanel Glossimer in Astral.

    Another option is to switch out the liner for MAC Pink Treat Cremestick liner and the gloss for MAC Dazzleglass in Love Alert. Hope this helps!

    That’s Laura Mercier Oil-Free Foundation. It covers *everything* and photographs beautifully. I’ve had it around for a year, but kinda forgot I had it until recently.

    My In-Laws went to into town and said the costumes they saw people wearing in Waikiki were amazing!

    I didn’t end up getting him a costume because last week when he was MIA I wasn’t sure if he’d be around. It was raining, anyway, plus, the entire parade was all dogs. I guess it was a good thing he stayed at home! :)

    It’s really yummy! The food is spicy, but you can ask them to turn it down a notch…

    I often pass by that restaurant in the Travelodge and I wonder about it! It kinda looks sketchy on the outside.
