Cremesheen in Double Dare on the lips
G’morning and happy Tuesday, cutie pie.
I thought you might like to see another of those MAC travel exclusives, and this one’s a real trip (LOL!). It’s called 3 Cremesheens, and it’s part of the new MAC Packed to Go collection.
Like all of MAC’s other travel exclusives, 3 Cremesheens will spend most of its time at select domestic and international airports and duty free stores when its flight arrives this spring (prices will vary by location).
I’d originally heard that the set would include Boy Bait, one of my favorite Cremesheens, but that appears incorrect. The set I have came with a pretty light pink called Right Image instead.

Coverage comes in at sheer-to-medium, which means they have a fair amount of pigment for a gloss, and I love how smooth, slick and non-sticky the MAC Cremesheen Glass glosses feel on my lips. With them, I think MAC did one of the better jobs out there in Lip Land when it comes to scent and taste — it’s a yummy light vanilla — getting the intensity of both just right.

Oh lala! I love MAC Cremesheen Glasses. I might pick this set up! ♥
Karen says
Yay! Will you be traveling soon, Livia?
Meghan says
Very pretty!
Karen says
I love ’em too!
Vijaya says
I’m the odd person out who tends to prefer her glosses sticky. I find they last longer if they are.
Karen says
I go back and forth. I take it you’re a Lipglass fan then?
Citrine says
Double Dare looks pretty cute!
Karen says
Love that color!
AnieJ says
I think I’ll check out some Cremesheens in general now, since I’m not going to be in an airport anytime soon. The formula sounds right up my alley!
Karen says
They feel really nice on the lips. Since they don’t last very long, you gotta be cool with reapplying often.
Kim says
OK, Double Dare looks awesome, but I’m resisting the temptation to purchase any lip products since I know I won’t wear them! 🙂
Karen says
Haha, I’m the same way with crazy-looking false lashes. My inner drag queen loves them, but I know I probably won’t want to exert the effort. 🙂
Kim says
I’m with you there! I’m crazy about false lashes too, but have yet to try them (I have an irrational fear of gluing my eyelids shut or yanking out my own lashes by mistake)! 🙂
Karen says
You are not alone! If/when you’re feeling adventurous maybe try cutting your false lashes in half first? That’s the only way I can seem to work them. Gluing on shorter bits is much, much easier than the full-size ones!
karo says
Right Image and Double Dare are very pretty.
Airport-I´m coming! ;))))))))
Karen says
Awesome! Where are you headed?
karo says
Double Dare and Right Image are very pretty!
Airport- I´m coming! 😉
karo says
SORRY! double klick! 😉
Warsaw-Poland. I was born in Poland 😉 You know..rest of family is still there.
Karen says
Oh cool. Kinda random, but I had Polish food a long time ago and remember liking it…
karo says
hahaha! 🙂
oh ya! my german husband like it too. 😉
stacie says

Karen says
Glad you like them, Stacie!

i LOVELOVELOVE cremesheen glasses. i should ask one of our travelling crew to get this for me LOL… such a lovely set, and i dont have any of them yet!
Karen says
LOL, do it! 🙂 Those airport duty free stores have treasure trove of goodies… food, makeup, booze, etc. etc.
Nina says
its just — theyre all dudes. i worry that they might bring me something weird and unknown LOL! 😀
scary thought!
my fave cremesheen glass is boy bait – its my fave my lips but better color!
Karen says
LOL… I figured as much. I’ve been in this boat before with El Hub. The trick to give the dude the specific product name. Then, tell him to go directly to somebody who works there and ask, “Do you have this?” Most of the time it works, LOL!
Nina says
i was thinking of saving a picture and emaling it to this one guy who i know will buy it for me (provided i send him the $$ in advance!) …
im checking his travel dates now! 😀
Karen says
That just might work. Often the stores with makeup have stuff for guys too (colognes and whatnot), so tell him he won’t feel out of place! 🙂
Nina says
selling point — he can get something for his wife too!
kana says
Double dare is very nice! Are they on the sticky side? I’m sorry if you said it, my mind is totally not awake yet. This bac and forth weather is such a killer. Ive had allergies for the past two months! Hope your week is going good, Karen! 🙂
Karen says
Nope, these are non-sticky!
gio says
Double Dare looks lovely!
Karen says
I think that’s my fave out of the three. 🙂
Stephanie says
Lalalove Double Dare!
They are so cute..
Alka says
Double dare is sooooo pretty! I may have to check out the cremesheens again. I have had an aversion to Mac glosses in the past but it might be worth trying them again for such a pretty color. Karen – is there going to be a list of airports that have these products? I looked for them 2 weeks ago in the Ontario, Denver, Las Vegas and New Orleans airports but did not see them at all.
steph b says
I am totally loving Double Dare on you. I am definitely going to have to check that out. I am so with you on the formula feeling fab on. I’ve been wearing Partial to Pink all week.
In other gloss news, Chanel contacted me to say that the notice I got about Boy being sold out and my order cancelled was an error. To make it up to me, they are going to overnight my tube. Yeah!
Grace Lin says
karen, here’s my story. so after reading your first post on mac’s packed to go set i was in London, Zurich and Vancouver but I wasnt able to find the packed to go brushes! Only London had anything from the collection but just not the brushes 🙁
Is there anyway I can buy those brushes although not travelling? 🙁 🙁 🙁
Karen says
Hi Grace,
As far as I know the Packed to Go Brush Sets are available only at airports and duty free stores. A couple years ago MAC made a few travel exclusives available on their website, so there may be a chance that they’ll do that again with this collection, but it doesn’t happen often.
Grace says
Sorry should have made that clear but I was traveling through Vancouver airport, heathrow airport and Zurich airport but no brushes 🙁
Tina says
Yay cremesheens my fave 🙂
Any idea how much the set will be?
