What’s One Makeup or Beauty Product You’d Like a Lifetime Supply Of?

September 25th, 2011 by Karen 57 Comments

Lifetime supply?

I’d have to go with Bumble & Bumble’s Super Rich Conditioner ($23 for an 8-oz. bottle; $58 for a 1-liter/34-oz. bottle).

I try a lot of different conditioners, but it’s the one I keep coming back to. It tames and hydrates my lion’s mane hair without weighing it down, and I never get tired of the fresh honeysuckle scent. I’ve been using it regularly since about 1999, if I remember correctly, and I don’t even want to think about how much money I’ve spent on it over the years, ’cause the shiz ain’t cheap.

How about you? What’s one makeup or beauty product you’d like a lifetime supply of?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Dr.Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peels. Makes my skin glow- diminishes fine lines, eliminates pigmentation/sun damage and smooths out acne scars. Truly is a miracle product.

This may seem weird, but Vaseline. It helps my dry skin and lips so much. I cannot go a day without it!

I would second the Vaseline, as I use it for everything – but it’s so cheap, and one tub lasts forever…

I’ll have to end up going with Kerastase Oleo-Relax Slim Masque. I only have to use it once or twice a week, and my hair is soft, manageable and has more sheen than usual.

The product description says it’s for dry, thick and very rebellious hair – it’s perfect to tame my mane.

Hands down, it would have to be the Jack Black Intensive Therapy lip balms. They work so well at hydrating my lips and keeping them super-conditioned. Plus they have a high SPF, and they smell great. I use it daily, so having a lifetime supply would really save me a lot of money.

Co-sign! I have two in my stash at the moment, and I’ll likely get more. The balm has a nice slip and it’s not heavy at all.

Ditto! I spent over a hundred bucks last winter on what should have been a lifetime supply of lipbalm because I couldn’t imagine living without it. Just placed a new order the other day…Jack Black is an addiction lmao

Oh, I definitely need to try this conditioner out. My brother and best friend call my hair “Lion Hair” so if it works for you, it should work for me :p.

As for a product I’d like a lifetime supply of, I can’t pick one! It would have to be one (or all :p) of the following:
    – MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner in Fuchsia Fix
    – Lush Shower Gel in The Olive Branch and It’s Raining Men
    – L’oréal Voluminous Mascara or Tarte Light’s, Camera, Splashes! Mascara
    – Esteé Lauder Double Wear Foundation
    – Eyeko Graffiti Eyeliner Pen

It would have to be Pangea Organics Egyptian Calendula Facial Cleanser. This stuff changed my life (and my face). It’s bloody expensive ($28) but worth every cent.

Oh boy howdy, I am all about the Rosebud Salve/Balm. It is basically a petrol base (like Vaseline) + rose oil/scent. The difference is that is actually smells great w/out being overwhelming. I wear this stuff all day every day and have since high school.

Unicure conditioner, but since it’s disco-ed. Cure care conditioner, I just bought a gallon at Sally’s beauty supply and I am certain if I was on a desert island or could only have one personal care item other than soap, this would be it. But since that isn;t true, I will continue to be the multi-product user I have grown to love!

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my two-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my cat (Tabs).
