The last beauty product I regret buying. Hmm… Well, there were a couple Fenty things that I thought were just eh. Like, the translucent setting powder didn’t really rock my world (it looked a little too powdery for me), and the concealer stick, while I ? the color, doesn’t give me the coverage I need.
Ah, beauty regrets… We’ve all had ’em. What was your last one?

Hm. I think another red lipstick, this time by essence, simply because I wanted a new one. It is a generic color and of mediocre quality, so even if it was cheap I could have saved the money. And to be fair I knew it when I purchased it.

Aussie brand dry shampoo. I love the brand but this particular product did not work for me! It just made my greasy hair crunchy. Gross.

Laura Mercie loose powder.I like YSL ang Givenchy powder, but this one is not the same quality at all. What is sad, that we can’t return make up and skincare in my country.

Too Faced Hangover Priming and Setting Spray destroyed my skin! Fermented stuff and my skin do not get along.

Neutrogena cleansing oil. It bothers my eyes and I’m not impressed with it.

Sadly, my last tube of TCFS Dinoplatz. 🙁 It’s just not the way I remembered my first tube. It’s still more than half full and I just got a tube of my old standby instead.
How are you all doing? It was so windy here on Sunday (I realize the weather patterns are totally different but it made me think of how dangerous the winds have been in the spread of the fires, and I was hoping things were improving for your area).

Besame Cosmetics in Wild Orchid. I love Besame’s formula and lipsticks, but this one just does not play well with warmer/yellower undertones. It made the redness in my skin really pronounced, which is a darn shame because it is SO beautiful.

To be honest, Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body in shade Aura. Do I find it bad? No, absolutely not! I simply have several simmilar and a bit better highlighters. You may ask, why did I chose it? I think the bleached sample in the store should be blamed. When I tested it out first time at the store it was nude pinky color with a pale golden glitter particles. I was so in love with it?. As soon as there were bergain deals, I ordered online from the local rep’s webstore. When I received it and saw that actually it’s in yellow gold with bright yellowy gold glitter and the pink pearlescent sheen was so subtle, I could only sigh?! Probably will have to leave it for a week in light until desired shade develops?. In EU we don’t have such customer rights to return make-up after it’s opened. Therefore if you’ve made a sneak peek in the pack – it’s your problem!

That stinks! You can’t return makeup in Europe after you’ve purchased it? I would hate to have spent a lot of money on something , not be happy with it , and then be stuck with it. Its your money! if you’re not happy with something, you should be able to return it!
Lelde says
Nop, we can’t! And from one hand I’d understand it as there would be loads of people who’d abuse such practice. Let’s face this situation from seller’s perspective – the client returns a product that’s useless. But from the other hand, I’d expect to have free samples available that are in normal condotion.

There are two. Edward Bess All Over Seduction. Don’t even remember what color I got. It’s a cream and I found it to be too oily, too scented and too shimmery for my taste. The other was Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder in Antigua. A great blogger said she used it as her perfect blush. It’s a great color, it’s just to shimmery and glittery for me. The color wears away and I’m left with little bits of glitter stuck in my pores.

Loreal hair products hate me. their shampoos and conditioner leave knots and tangle my hair. oh my god, any product …

The Becca ombré palette! I heard so many good reviews but was pretty disappointed- I didn’t think the eye shadows were easy to blend at all! Haven’t tried anything from Fenty and currently I’m not planning on either lol (well your review might play a role lol).

I bought some NARS eyeshadow and am just not digging it. They’ don’t blend easily and the lighter color is too light on my eyelids. (Another example of me getting caught up in the name: I mean, how could an eyeshadow duo called ‘Underworld’ not be amazing!!!???) 😉

Laura Mercier translucent pressed setting powder compact. Each time I purchase this, the powder inside the compact shatters and it’s no longer purse worthy. Usually this happens after I have had it awhile and already hit pan, but this time it was within a month of purchasing! Frustrating, since the product itself works wonderfully.

I can’t think of the last thing I bought that I really, truly hated, but I am LOVING this thread. There are a couple of things in here that I now feel like I can comfortably skip without feeling that FOMO!

The Philosophy Microdelivery Wash. They changed the formula and now its alot thicker and takes more time to get off. While that may not be a biggie for some, its huge for me because I’m usually in a rush in the morning and I don’t have the time to rinse my face like 5 times to get it clean!

The last thing I regret buying was definitely the BECCA First Light Filter face primer. $40 and it didn’t really do anything to my skin ??♀️
Lupe says
Ulta’s Melisa Michelle Palette. Highlighter and blush are nice, but shadows are so meh to work with.
sleepybird says
lol. Its the exact opposite for me. I really like the shadows and have used them several times but the blush is so so and the highlighter makes my pores cry. Maybe we both agree that the liquid lipstick was just WEIRD?

MAC Next to Nothing skin tint. It pills up on me, it’s useless.
Angie Smith says
Fenty Gloss Bomb. The scent was an instant trigger for my migraines. I’m generally not super sensitive to scents in beauty products. I had a migraine within minutes of applying it. I’m scared to try it again. Everyone else seems to love the scent. I was so disappointed!

Sorry to get to this post late, but I have been involved in so many “Zack” things. I would have to say that the last few beauty items that I regret buying are both from Chanel, the Ombre premier cream shadow in undertone and the Les beiges natural eyeshadow palette. Strangely enough, I was so smitten with the cream eyeshadow when I first bought it. It was my summer go to shade, but it dried up so quickly that one day I went to put it on and the entire product just fell out of the pot. The quality of the eyeshadow palette just was eh!
Anyway, I celebrated by 58th birthday on Sunday the 15th. I was treated to a makeover in the city with my sister. I purchased the Nars Sheer Glow and the new soft complete matte concealer, both in more cooler tones. So far, I am liking the look.
Be well.
