Is it a slicked-back low-pony? A textured dutch braid? Or do you just throw that mane under a hat and call it a day?
My bad hair day hairstyle is a high, messy bun. The messier, the better.
And if I’m feeling fancy…I’ll smooth down the sides with hairspray and a toothbrush.
Your turn! What’s your default bad hair day hairstyle?

I don’t wash my hair very often so it usually starts with my hair down, then into a pony tail, then into a braid, and then into a messy bun or donut bun.

My hair is literally almost always down, without anything really done to it, unless I’m working out. No matter what I do, it ends up looking the same.

Two dutch or french braids down the sides fo my head, joined in the back by a messy bun! It’s a go-to when no amount of dry shampoo is helping the situation, plus it only takes about 2 minutes!

The messy bun called “städknut” (cleaning bun). This is the default all the time now with being home with baby.
Have a bestie-date tonight so i am actually gonna do something else with the mane… Dinner, beauty and the beast and then a cocktail or two.
I wish you and the fam an amazing weekend 🙂

Messy updo with a butterfly clip. The back of the head alternative to the top knot.

I’m sorry, I keep forgetting to tell you that I think your hair looks adorable like that (and I’ve liked all your “I hate my bangs” looks!). 🙂 Mine is just a slicked back, high pony and it’s not even close to being nice looking. I don’t wear it out of the house, unless I’m running. Like jogging… not like being in a hurry. In a rush, I’d throw on a ball cap first.
Jess says
My hair is very thick and takes a long time to style/dry. When I need to run out in a pinch I rely on a decent amount of Blowpro dry shampoo and a deep side part with a fishtail braid to hide my greasy roots.

I have short hair, so no pony tails, braids or buns. Usually, I just try to dry it into shape and if that doesn’t work there’s always snap clips to keep it out of my eyes.
I’ve been known to tug a baseball cap on when it’s really sweaty bad. But it’s really rather rude and poor manners to wear a hat indoors. So it’s always the question, be seen as unmannerly or ungroomed?
Astrid says
Simple ponytail, depending on current hair length, then a folded ponytail. Also even though I think buns are super cute, I can’t do a bun to save myself ?.

High pony tail for me.

I used to just pull it all back into a french braid or a bun, but then I got the s***s with my long hair and cut it all off.
Now my “ugh” day hairstyle is twisting the front bits back and to the side to get them out of my face.

I have baby bangs, so I pin them up (as best as I can) and throw that hair up in a bun. If it’s super dirty, I’ll put it in a low bony/ponytail and throw a baseball cap on over that mess. But if I’m feeling SUPER lazy (or don’t want to pin up the bottom hairs that aren’t quite long enough) and likely not to be seen by many, I’ll use one of those good ol’ chunky hair claws… You know the kind! One of the teeth would always break off. (:
