The very thought of walking around town with wild brows sends shivers down my spine! Okay…maybe not shivers, but you get the idea. I’d no sooner forget my purse on a park bench than forget to tend to my brows. Even when I’m just leaving for a quick walk around the neighborhood with Tabs, my brows are always did.

Does my obsession sound familiar? Do you browbeat your brows fret about your brows too? If you feel like yours could use a little babying, maybe today’s giveaway can help. The prize is three (3) of my tried-and-true Benefit Brow favorites (a prize package worth $78).

  • High Brown Lifting Pencil — For adding definition and lift to your brow arch, which really opens up the eyes.

I’m waiting for my brows to grow out, and I’m hoping to get them shaped to where I want them, so that way I simply only have to define them with a matte taupe shadow, instead of basically creating a brow with a brownish taupe pencil! I’ve always wanted to try Benefit’s brow products!

  2. Jj says:

It´s so bad what happens in japan…horrible Powerplants!

  3. Liz! says:

These look awesome! I didn’t start getting into brow stuff until fairly recently, when I accidently over plucked and had some patchy looking brows! <3 all your giveaways.

  4. Deirdre says:

I love Brows a go go, my friend has it and I love stealing it!
I went to see my favourite band, The Script, last night, best night of my lifeee

Even when I have absolutely nothing on my face, the brows = MUST! πŸ˜€
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. Cass says:

I would love to try these out. I have only tried a few brow products, but I haven’t been thrilled with any of them. Plus my birthday is this week, so it would be cool to win!

    Great contest!

  7. Kiki says:

Ooh! I really want to try their brow kit. I have strawberry blonde hair so a lot of brow products don’t match my haircolor. πŸ™‚

  8. LC says:

As probably with all teenage girls, I totally overplucked when I first started grooming my brows. Now that I’m 30, I really love fuller brows.

  9. Mylie says:

I started taking care of my brow when I saw on pictures that they were non-existant!!! Too much plucking lol

  10. izzi says:

    ive always wanted high brow!

  11. cyra says:

    looks fun!

  12. Valeria says:

The first time I had my eyebrows waxed was when I was eleven years old. Now that I think about it, I’m surprised my mother asked me if I even wanted to do them. I was so young o_o Anyways, it hurt SO MUCH, and I cried. It’s been 8 years, and the woman who does my eyebrows still remembers – despite there having been a seven year gap from when I first waxed and when I saw her again.

  13. Kerry says:

i definitely don’t take care of my brows like i should…but waxing hasn’t been good for my skin. and the small town i’m in probably doesn’t have anyone who can do threading. and everything made by Benefit just doesn’t fit into a grad student’s budget πŸ™

  14. Bianca says:

i just love em natural and thick, kinda the ‘strong eyebrows’ look πŸ™‚ after years of tweezing and the occasional waxing, i shortly learned how to thread my own eyebrows (or any facial hair for that matter) and i love it πŸ™‚
when filling in my brows i really have to be careful with the color – my hair is quite dark, but just right now i’m maybe a bit too pale for my liking, normally i’m a NC 25 – too dark (as dark as my hair) looks too hard on me, so i have to use a medium kind of brown πŸ™‚ i think the colors in the benefit kits would be just right for me πŸ™‚ not too dark and not too light, and i can mix them too πŸ™‚

  15. Nina says:

I would love this since I lost my favorite brow pencil and I haven’t found a great alternative to it.

  16. Shannon says:

I think I really started paying attention to my brows in Junior High.

  17. Tamara says:

I really need to tweeze my my brows. I don’t think the unibrow look is in…lol.

  18. Kaianne says:

I only just got my eyebrows waxed for the first (and only, actually) time less than a year ago and I’ve never really filled them in because I haven’t been sure how to go about doing that. This giveaway looks great!

  19. Casey says:

I have the most sparse, lightly colored brows ever. It’s something nearly every woman on my grandfather’s side of the family has. Every day since I was 13 I’ve drawn them on, brushed them with powder, etc. I have dark brown hair, so my very light brow hair is very weird looking, almost alien like, with nothing else on them. The good news is that I’ve gotten very good at faking it.

  20. heidi says:

Do you ever feel like thwew’s a battle betwee. Sleep and beakfast?

  21. Jen says:

That giveaway looks amazing…. count me in… my brows could do with a little loving… ~(*^_^*)~

  22. Suhrin says:

    Hello. First-time reader here! πŸ˜€
I actually never had my eyebrows groomed or waxed. So every time I either went to a beauty spa, the employees would always tell me how bushy my eyebrows are! Like I didn’t get enough from my friends. >< so pretty much my eyebrows are my most concert.

  23. TheMissTrious says:

    Prayers for Japan …

  24. Debbie says:

My brows def need some help! πŸ™‚

  25. Allison says:

I have dark, pretty thick eyebrows that kind of spike up in the middle… When I was young I hated them! I didn’t learn to love them until my mother introduced me to tweezers, hot wax, and I saw Brooke Shields in Blue Lagoon πŸ™‚

  26. Karin says:

My brows are a diaster! They need some serious help. I hardly have any, and its not because i overplucked them πŸ™ Im still looking for the holy grail for my brows and always wanted to try the brow things from Benefit!

  27. Astha says:

I always gave my brows attention and got my eyebrows threaded like all the other women in my family, and the one time I tried to wax my brows I took a good chunk of them off πŸ™ DIY brows – never again!

  28. Patricia says:

I always take care of my eyebrows…make the difference!

  29. Brittany says:

    I want it! πŸ™‚

  30. Mary Pigott says:

These look good! I love grooming my brows! Just as important as mascara! I overplucked when I was younger but luckily I held off on the tweezers for a while and now their full and fabulous! I get them shaped around 4 times a year and then just maintenance myself in between. Would love to try these benefit products! xoxo

  31. shusheshe says:

I’ve been planning a visit to Benefit’s brow bar for ages now! Just waiting for my brows to fill in a bit more before making an appointment!

  32. Jacki says:

I have been trying to tame my brows! I’ve been growing them out and the in between stage is not so nice πŸ™ some nice brow tools could really assist in this not so pretty procedure, love your blog girl ! xo

  33. YadiQ says:

With these heavy brows o mine of course I have had mishaps !!! I started grooming my brows in highschool cause people made fun of my “unibrow” go figure looking back it was nowhere near a unibrow lol

  34. Kimberly says:

I always find it so amazing how much designing your eyebrows can change your appearance, my girlfriend & I recently went to have ours done together & she walked out looking like a whole new person!

    I’m iowagirl301 on Twitter.

  35. Joy says:

My brows are still recovering from a mishap three years ago at a salon I, needless to say, have never taken another step in.

  36. Zoe says:

I love a fuller brow, I think it has something to do with my Audrey Hepburn obsession.

  37. Peggy H. says:

Lovely giveaway! I would love to try this product! I always make sure my brows are kept up, can’t stand it when they get out of control!

  38. Peggy H. says:

  39. kalcedon says:

Well, brows have always been a huuuuge concern for me. I have really thick brows and I even had a unibrow, so I’ve been getting it waxed since I was 12. At least I don’t have to fill them in :D. Well, I have had a mishap with them… because my eyebrows gron in a way and the are so thick that the ‘golden rule’ (that the perfect eyebrow starts at the corner of your eyes) doesn’t apply to them, because that way they look so overly plucked. So I went to my beauty parlour, and only a beginner comsetitian could do my eyebrows… and even through I told her not to wax it too much, she did. Wow, it looked creepy. My brows looked really short and my nose looked so big… and the worst thing is that that part of my eyebrows haven’t grown back as thivk as I’d like them to be :(…

  40. Angela says:

I didn’t start paying attention to my brows until I was about 25. Horrible I know! They’re pretty thin but can get rather bushy. I tend to leave them too long and am always shocked (over and over) at what a change it makes in my face to have them well groomed!

  41. Sera says:

i just recently got into the world of brow makeup and i can fully understand ur addiction now!

  42. Jane says:

    I think I NEED this πŸ™‚

  43. joy says:

I don’t think I started to pay attention to my brows til college. The brow products look great. Prayers out to Japan

  44. Rachel says:

karen, your give aways are the best!

  45. Anna says:

Luckily I don’t have to pay too much attention to my brows. Occasional tweezing and I’m fine, but I’d love to give HIgh Brow a try.

  46. Rebeca says:

I luv full super thick brows Ñ la Brooke Shields

  47. Cecille says:

The sun is out! Enjoy the weekend! don’t forget to spring forward!

  48. Rebecca says:

I have always waxed my eyebrows which has always left me red and swollen at least 1-2 days after but since I have discovered Threading (which they do at my local mall) I have not gone back to waxing. It’s painless and I am not red or swollen after. It also lasts a lot longer then waxing. I can go at least 6 weeks without even stubble.

  49. Michelle says:

When I worked as a receptionist in a hair salon in college, the esthetician asked if she could wax my brows (they were a ‘lil unruly). Now I am meticulous with my brow grooming!!

  50. Denise F says:

I have my very own T-Money! He also goes by Tater Tot, Little Man Tate, T Burrito. He definitely needs to get his brows did πŸ™‚

  51. Rach says:

I wish I could go back in time and never over-pluck my brows… Thank god for brow products!

  52. Jenny says:

I never paid much attention to it until prom came around, awesome kit!

  53. Amanda says:

Nice! I started paying attention to my brows when I was about 12…

  54. Lynette says:

I couldn’t agree with you more Karen. Even if I’m going to pick up one thing from the grocery store, I have to put my eyebrows on .

True story, last year I had three surgeries because of congenital kidney defects I have. We had to travel three hours to a University hospital here in Florida for the surgery. I insisted my husband stop on the way to the hospital at a MAC counter so I could get my brow pencil. Despite strict instructions not to have a speck of anything on in the operating room I still did my eyebrows. My hubby took some post-op pics of us together and I look like death warmed over except for my brows!! πŸ™‚

  55. Stephanie says:

I think I had a slight unibrow in middle school until I discovered tweezers. Then I overplucked like most high schoolers. In college, I finally got them to grow back in. Now I keep them well shaped and groomed.

  56. Crystal says:

i love my eyebrows but i really need to shape then when i go to the salon πŸ™‚

  57. Krista says:

Hi! I would love to give these a try! I love everything I own from Benefit, I would love to see what they could do for my brows! Thanks for the opportunity!

  58. jasmine says:

I have really full I brows (they are really “in your face”) But thin eyebrows just don’t seem to fit me. I am learning to appreciate them

  59. Chris25 says:

My brows are monstrous. I have to get them threaded twice a month, and I pluck and snip in between. They are even more high maintenance than the hair on my head!

  60. Caroline says:

I’ve only had my brows done twice in my life.

  61. Elizabeth says:

i still need to play around with my brows to figure out how i like them

  62. Helen says:

I have thin brows and never really got the hang of grooming them. But a couple months ago, I realized how big a difference it makes!

  63. Liz says:

Brows are SO important. I have always have thick full eyebrows, and when i was younger i obviously hated them. But when I got to be 18 I started to grow them back in and haven’t let anyone else but me and my tweezers touch them since. So many times I’d go to get them waxed or threaded and they would rip them all out. Such a tragedy! I wish I would have loved them sooner! Now they are my pride and joy!

  66. Molly says:

OMG I need this- I recently grew my brows back (after a few years of serious over-plucking) and it left the inner corners so sparse, I look like I shaved off parts of my brows unless I fill them in.. which I’m currently doing with a crappy eye pencil and a light taupe shadow.. ugh.

  67. Fatema says:

over-plucked eyebrow is a big no-no for me!

  68. Lauren says:

I recently found out how to shape my brows myself and I love doing it! If I’m looking a little nicer, then I fill them in, and I’d love to have something nicer to do that with! My tip for brows everyday (and I’ve been doing this since high school), is to brush them straight with a toothbrush..obviously not the one for my teeth. I just use a very simple toothbrush and it combs them all in one way nicely!

  69. I never really cared about my brows (or makeup of any kind, really) until I hit college. I take after my mother– sparse but scraggly & dark brows– and she never bothered with shaping them so I never learned to do it until a friend showed me how she did her makeup and I was blown away by the transformation. Now I HATE to leave the house w/o plucked & filled-in eyebrows.

  88. Brittany says:

I have always had issues with my brows as I find that they are naturally too short.

  89. Elin says:

  91. Josie C. says:

You would cringe at my eyebrows right now! I’ve been neglecting them for a few weeks, so they’re not a pretty sight. I’m planning on taking advantage of Benefit’s free birthday brow arch services on my birthday a few weeks.

  92. tracey says:

I love getting my eyebrows threaded! i dont get any weird reaction to it like when i do get it waxed (a whole bunch of mini pimples!) but i uusually cant afford to do it .. so im stuck with tweezing πŸ™

  93. Meghan says:

When I was a kid my brows were so light that they were basically nonexistent, I just started paying attention to them because I got a new drivers license and I realized they didn’t show up in my picture! 94. Maya says:

My eyebrows are quite nice naturally, I take after my mom with that. But these look really nice!

Hopefully Japan could recover from this horrible disaster…

  95. Cindy says:

When I was around 10 years old I shaved half of my right brow. I was angry at my mom and I thought this would get back at her. Needless to say, it was a really dumb move. I’m 21 now and my brows still haven’t recovered- my right brow is lower and slightly less arched than my left one.

  96. Mary says:

I’ve always wanted to try Benefit products. Definitely would love to see how these products will work on my brows.

  135. Sarona says:

I suffer from unmatched brow syndrome, I know they shouldn’t be exactly the same but I have one that has a perfect arch and the other one has a round shape. so my brows are a big challenge every day

  136. mm says:

I usually wax my brows here at home, and once learned the hard way not to wax them without glasses or contacts in…Benefit Browzings saved me until they grew out!

  137. Lindsey says:

I am obsessed with grooming my brows and have wanted to get benefit’s eyebrow products for a while! This is what I need!!!!!! Thanks and love visiting your site daily!

  138. Pearl says:

I go get my brows done with an Indian woman who does threading out of her apartment! Only 5 dollah, and they always look fantastic.

  139. Monica says:

When I studied abroad in Dublin, my favorite bartender (hey there, Declan!) had shaved off his eyebrows and had two shooting stars tattooed in their place. From far away he looked darned cute, if a little expressive, but it wasn’t until you got up close that you really noticed. Amazing!

  140. knownever says:

Ive messed about a bit with my brows but the colors i get are always too dark or too light. i’ve always heard err on the side of lighter, but it can look really fake. usually just settle for some brow wax, but i’m still trying to get the hang of more.

  141. janie says:

i’ve always wanted to get my brows professionally done.

  142. mariasaysrelax says:

The one thing I get most compliments on is my eyebrows. So random, but I think it’s because I’ve finally perfected how to shape them and powder them in. And no help from any professionals!! πŸ™‚

  143. Stephanie says:

Hmmm….care for my brows waxes and wanes. When life is getting extra crazy, you can totally see it in my “crazy brows.” LOL πŸ˜€

  144. Judy says:

Looking back at my hs pictures… Pencil thin brows are not the bizz! Lol

  145. Stacey F. says:

I never leave home without applying brows either! I
might scare the neighborhood children lol!

  146. Lisa says:

I love Benefit blushes, but I’ve never tried their brow stuff. It’s probably awesome as well πŸ™‚

  147. Anu says:

I get my eyebrows threaded religiously, but my brows are uneven and start at different distances away from the center of my face… if i dont fill in my brows i look like an alien!! πŸ™‚

  148. Katie says:

I’m a recent convert to the brow bandwagon, now I love caring for my caterpillars!

  149. Kate says:

When I was in high school, I used to fill in my brows with BLACK eyeliner….a LOT of it. And I am very very fair. In pictures, it looks like I have 2 giant catepillars (sp?) above my eyes! Not cute….

  150. MARY-FRANCES says:

I still have a tiny scar by my right brow from when I got a wax and it ripped off part of my skin.

  151. Taylor says:

    One word: Over plucking

  152. Christina says:

I just started “doing” my brows and it makes me looks so much more finished and polished!

  153. Leng says:

I used to find it really theraputic to pluck my eyebrows (i know, I must have issues!). At one point, during a particularly stressful period in my life I really overdid them!! I remember seeing a photo of myself and thinking OMGWTF! So from then on, I’ve been trying to tone it down, and only pluck stray hairs, leaving my eyebrows in their more natural state – and finding healthier ways to relief stress! =) Have a Great weekend, Karen!

Thoughts and prayers for everyone in Japan…<3

  154. Tiffany says:

    love love benefit1!

  155. Anastasia says:

I don’t have any Benefit products πŸ™ we don’t have it in my country

  156. Bernice says:

I’ve been tweezing my eyebrows and it’s okay but I would love to try this! =)

  157. Anna Crystal says:

Seriously, I can’t tell you anything right funny now because I’m still crying over how things are in Japan, it really hurt me mentally.

  158. Aida says:

I too am obsessed with my brows!!! :))

  159. eileen says:

i have the most non-existent brows ever. this looks like a fun set!

  160. LV says:

I’ve been letting my brows grow in a little recently — switched from waxing to plucking to save money but also helped them to grow in moreso. I just love the look of strong brows right now. I love Benefit products so so much and would just LOVE to try these out. πŸ™‚

  162. Jennifer says:

I have a FAR better day when I feel like my brows are looking perfect – on days my brows are unruly or badly in need of a cleanup it’s almost as bad as a bad hair day! I’ve been wanting to try Brows-a-go-go for a while now. Thanks for posting another giveaway. πŸ™‚

  163. auroragyps says:

Except for tweezing unwanted hairs between & under my arches, I never really did much with my eye brows until a couple of years ago. I’ve gone from tweezing too much, until I had tadpole brows, to now having what I think are tidy, but pretty natural looking brows. I use Smashbox powder & wax, but I have been thinking of trying something else, so this would be very welcome.

  164. Lucia says:

I started caring about my brows when I was in middle school with just a simple brow pencil, but haven’t really gotten into shaping it correctly until a couple of years ago. I have super sparse and light eyebrows and I hate looking back to my older pics b/c I looked so featureless without defined brows!

  165. G says:

Its a beautiful day in sunny S. Floriday – Pray for Japan.

  166. Charlene says:

I only really started grooming my brows last year…I honestly don’t know how I went so long without grooming them! I’m addicted. I never leave the house without my brows either πŸ™‚

  167. Christina says:

My eyebrows hate me! I, unfortunately, have some rude@ss eyebrows. My left eyebrow has a nice high arch, the right eyebrow is flat and literally lower than the left. It used to make my glasses look like they sit crooked. They aren’t the shape I want but wit the help of a threading specialist, they now sit the same level! Now I love ’em and love experimenting with ways to make them look even better.

  168. Kandice says:

I’m personally a huge fan of the retro pinup girl look and I love a very defined brow. My own brows are quite thin and drawn on but not to the point that it looks ridiculous. I actually receive compliments on my brows often.I currently use the MAC 266 with a Smashbox brow powder but I would love to try these products!

  169. Casey says:

    This looks amazing!

  170. Nadine says:

I have a fuller brow, but not like brooke shields. I pluck them daily for upkeep.

  171. natalie says:

oh man doin my brows is a chore and a half

  172. Alice says:

I really need to get my brows professionally groomed someday lol

  173. Jenn says:

I like to keep my brows natural looking– not too plucked and not too thick!

  174. Erin says:

Sister I couldn’t agree with you more, eyebrows must be done before I even open the door for a doorbell ringing!!

My biggest mistake was years ago when I was a teenager. Now I had this great idea to take an actual razor and just shave off the extra bits of brow I didn’t want. This suprisingly worked out well for the first 3 times. The 4th left me with a sad looking eyebrow on the left and a perfect brow on the right!! I skipped homecoming because it was so bad! LOL

  175. Anne-Marie says:

    Enter me please πŸ™‚
    Brow mishap? Overplucking, of course!

  176. alyss says:

heyyy i love your blog. πŸ™‚

i started plucking my eyebrows myself in middle school. which since i was just learning how to do them.. they were very uneven haaa it was terrible.

i recently started coloring them in last year, which i love. mostly if im having a lazy day ill just do my brows then put on sum mascara and lipstick πŸ™‚ very nice simple look.

and your cat is fantastic, i have a kitten named enzo and he is lets just put it this way crazyy! haa hopefully calms down a bit.

  177. Lucy says:

I could use this kit! I’ve had lots of mishaps with my brows. The worse thing I did was to shave off the hairs under my brows. I sliced into my skin and now have a scar under my brows. I’ve went from skinny to thick brows. I let them all grow in last month. I have to figure out what to do with them. Thank you.

  178. Frances says:

    I would love this!

  179. Anna says:

  184. leahbobeah says:

I used to dye my hair crazy colors, and I did it at home. A friend was helping me dye my hair pink, and she dripped pink dye on the center of my eyebrow. Neither of us noticed for about ten minutes, so I ended up with the middle of my eyebrow bright pink!

I started getting my eyebrows threaded in high school. I think that you can wear as much make up and have the greatest hair styles BUT if your eyebrows aren’t done, it’s a lost cause. A great brow can really make the difference in your appearance. It can take you from frumpy to a perfect 10 in seconds.

Then I start googled and discover the art of eyebrow grooming. Thanks for the giveaway!

  206. Susan Albert says:

I never paid any attention to my brows when I was young. They were thick and lovely. As I got older I over plucked them and they didn’t all grow back(might be partly genetic). Now I need to put “on” my brows before I go out. Always looking for a new product to try.

  218. larrielle says:

I rarely get my eyebrows done actually. My eyebrows are so light and naturally arched that only on special occasions do I get them done (like my birthday approaching in 38 days). In that case I will take advantage of the free threading at Brow Bar.

I have totally discovered the power of the brow this year. I’ve been experimenting with powder, wax and pencil – I’ve become a brow-a-holic!

  244. Priscilla says:

I’ve actually never worked with the brows beyond tweezing. I should though. I tend to have dark, thick, unruly, Frida Kahlo-esque brows on their own. Tamed, the hair is still plenty dark and thick to not need defining,

  246. Allison says:

  247. Liz says:

I just tweeze my brows and cut them with nail scissors a little bit. I do not fill them in on everyday basis, because I do not wear makeup every day, but when I am doing a makeup look I usually use matte brown eyeshadow to make them stand out more. 257. Emily says:

I’d probably say I’m browbsessed. I make sure my brows are well-groomed every morning because brows are just as important to your face as your nose, eyes, or lips. A face without well-groomed brows is like a good picture with a bad frame; it just ruins the look. I originally started taking care of them after a rude boy in my class made a snide comment about how unruly they were, so I began plucking, trimming, and waxing, experimenting with different shapes. I’m happy to say, though, I think I’ve finally got them exactly right. πŸ˜€

  258. Catherine G says:

Ooh My brows are such a pain in the butt! They’re not symmetrical, and they’re too sparse to be shaped to be symmetrical without over-plucking them πŸ™ So filling them in really helps.

I started plucking when I was 17 (26 now) and became obsessed and wanting to pluck every day. I’d get so mad when I couldn’t access a really short hair. I was told to never touch the tops of my brows so I didn’t, but I did over pluck the bottoms. I had this image of hockey sticks in my mind when I plucked. They ended up having that tadpole shape. I thought they looked good at the time. lol, they really don’t work for anyone and my round face especially. I’m really going for that full look now. I’ve never gotten them professionally done, but I’m excited about the free Benefit brow grooming for my birthday!

Oh man, i have the worst time with brows!! I, unfortunately, got my mother’s eyebrows; which means unless they are plucked and waxed with no mercy I look like bert. Eventually my parents relented and bought me a pair, thank god! I then went through a horrible phase where I had pencil brows… I’ve finally got the thickness just right after all these years.

I started paying attention to my brows about a year ago….I was taking pictures of my eye makeup and realized how sparse my eyebrows were, so I tried filling them in, took a picture and saw the huge difference it made to the overall makeup look. I can’t leave the house without my brows trimmed, plucked and filled! πŸ™‚

  462. sheetal says:

I have very thick black brows which tends to grow in all directions just few days after waxing. i tend to get threading done as it is less painful. i rarely groom it but i would definetly love to try the new products and see if it will help me better in managing my bush brows

  463. Joan says:

I still have a lot of trouble using either an eyebrow pencil or eyeshadow to fill in my brows. It would always either come out too dark or I won’t be able to balance both of my brows. I definitely think I need more practice! XP

  464. Tiffany says:

I started paying attention to my brows after my friend tweezed it for me for the first time. I couldn’t believe what a difference it made! After that I never went without polished eyebrows again. I use an eyebrow pencil everyday and I never leave the house without filling them in. Thank you so much for this contest!

    Best Regards,

  465. I’ve never tried anything from Benefit, it’s not available in Greece πŸ™ Thank you Karen! πŸ˜‰ x

  466. charleen says:

yeah… i don’t leave the house without my brows groomed either.

  467. Carolyn says:

I started grooming my brows in high school, but I took them a little too thin, and since they’re sparse anyway, they disappear on the sides. Add the fact that I have trouble finding the right shade of brow color (that will also stay all day/night) and they just don’t look so hot. πŸ™

So right now I’m letting them go so that I can re-groom them in a better shape. They look really messy, but I’m fighting the urge to clean them up much. It’s gonna be a tough few months, but I hope it’s worth the end result!

  468. Inday says:

I have like 5 brow hairs and unfortunately none of them grow in any sort of orderly pattern =(

  469. Liene says:

I’ve finished my brow pencil (which actually was an eye pencil) today. πŸ˜€

  470. Hannah says:

I’ve been using a .99 cent Wet N Wild eye brow pencil for… as long as I’ve been filling in my brows lol. Might be time for an upgrade.

  476. Barbara Gasgonia says:

I once over plucked my brows on one eye- so I obviously had to do the other! I covered it up with my bangs until is grew back =(

  477. Eve says:

I definitely could use some brow products. Mine is nothing but a bush. lol

  478. Liz says:

I only started paying attention to my brows fairly recently – but part of it is because I have a scar right under my right eyebrow from when I fell against a table as a kid. I’m worried about plucking them though, because I’m not sure if the scarring’s still obviously visible underneath it, haha.

  479. Jacky says:

I recently started plucking my eyebrows and they make SUCH a BIG difference! It makes me look way better and more feminine.

  480. Jenn says:

I love what Holly Mordini of Smashbox says about brows: “Our brows are sisters, not twins.” This bit of brilliance helped me to overcome my anxiety about both of my brows being identical after I finished grooming them. πŸ™‚

I started paying attention to my brows early because I started getting a unibrow in middle school. πŸ˜› Of course, that led to some serious over plucking, but the brows are in much better shape these days!

My style leans towards goth-y so I love the look of thin, dramatic drawn-in brows. To get mine looking just-so I decided to shave them. I actually loved how they looked drawn in (especially with fun colors like blue, or hot pink) but I looked like an alien without my brows done and they didn’t fare well when it rained outside either. lol!

I had a bad experience with shaving (I KNOW!) the space between my eyebrows when I was a freshman in high school. It took until around my junior year in college before I was satisfied with how they grew back. Now I love them – a little thin on the ends, but that’s what a brow pencil is for!
