Like the crazy cat mom that I am, I called the Hotel Cattyfornia (such a lovely place) to check on Tabs this morning. The staff tells me he’s having a grand time sunning himself in the windows and staring at the caged birds in the center of the playroom.
I miss my kitty, sigh…
Since I’m suffering from a bad case of the cat mom blues, I’m trying to get some kitty lurving from the strays that live in the condo complex here. A gang of tail-less tabbies has always run the place, but I haven’t seen them around lately. The new kings of the neighborhood may be the two cats that guard the playground out front.
I’ve named this gray and white one Cutie Pie…
…and this black and white one Peanut.
Cutie Pie and Peanut standing guard.
I like to think Tabs would get along with his Hawaiian brethren!
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I can really relate to your cat woes! It’s so hard to be away from them! Cutie Pie and Peanut are adorable!
Tabs has such a fierce look… designers should take note for Fall Fashion Week!
Hope everything is fabulous for you and El Hub in paradise! It’s beautiful, wish I was there! 😉

Hi Glosslizard,
I really miss Tabs. This has been the worst so far!
Hopefully Cutie Pie and Peanut will let me get my cat mom on. 🙂
Thanks again for doing the Benefit guest post! You have the cutest lips!

Aww I always miss my kitties when I am away form them too. Cutie Pie is especially adorable.
When I was a kid and in Hawaii, we were away from my cat Precious for 3 weeks and I missed her so much. At the condo we stayed at, there was a mama cat and her kittens that hung out and I used to try to play with them constantly. My mom wouldn’t let me touch them though because they were pretty feral, but OH how I wanted to!

Hi Vampy Varnish,
Oh how cute! I am always compelled to get friendly with kittens.
Precious is a cute name for a cat. Is she still around?

Aaw, thanks! And you’re entirely welcome, it was my pleasure! 🙂
P.S. Don’t worry, it won’t be too terribly long before you’re back together with your very own kitteh!

Aw, how cute! I can relate. The one time I left my kitties in a pet hotel, I burst into tears the minute we got out the door, and I cried all the way out of town! My hubby says, “I’m glad we don’t have kids! What would you be acting like then?” I can’t even imagine!

Awww that must be hard to leave him when you travel, even though he sounds like hes staying a sweet hotel.
I just found out I’m going to India for 3 months for a research gig, I don’t know how I’m going to be away from my pup for so long!

Aww, how cute!! I’m sure Tabs is livin’ it up right now without mum and dad to keep him in line 😛
Cutie Pie is totally adorable, by the way – I just want to hug him to death!

Aww this made me miss our old cat. I moved to a new apartment and I have not seen him in days.
Vampy Varnish says
No, Precious died a long time ago at the ripe old age of 17! She was a great cat (if not lazy as hell and totally not playful):)

Peanut is my dog’s name. But I had a cat that looked like your “Peanut” named Timothy. He couldn’t meow properly. He sounded like he had laryngitis, bless his heart! I hope you have a great vacation!
