Greetings, humans. My assistant Karen hasn’t returned from the mall yet, so I’ve commandeered “the blog” this afternoon. I don’t know if I’m doing this correctly because she usually handles the tech, but here are some of the sites I’ve been visiting lately.

Blythe Blythe Blythe! — Flickr Group Pool

If you can get past the initial shock of eye contact with the Blythe dolls in this Flickr pool, you might find them quite pretty. :) Some look straight-up FIERCE in their ’60s clothes and bright makeup!

Aerial Virtual Tour of New York City

WHEE! It’s like I’m flying. Wait — I think I see a squirrel in the park. Up here, little guy! Yeah, above you, the cat in the sky, LOL!

kandee the make-up artist

Celebrity makeup artist Kandee seems like such a nice person that you almost forget you’re following a gifted professional. Check out her blog, and don’t miss her on YouTube, Twitter or Facebook.

One Pretty Thing

Rachel is crafty. :) Every day on One Pretty Thing she links to the best crafts tutorials and DIY home projects from forums, sites and blogs. Now all I need is like a thousand more hours in the day, LOL!

The Sartorialist

What started almost five years ago as a photo blog chronicling one man’s brushes with fashionable pedestrians on the streets of New York has evolved into… Actually, that’s still an apt description, except that it leaves out the part about how amazing this man’s photography is.

Joseph Cartright Photography

I don’t even remember where I found this site, but I bookmarked it for the vibrant full-screen makeup and fashion photography. The owner hasn’t updated his blog in a while (last entry was Oct. 22, 2009), but I think the makeup looks are worth a quick browse. Navigate by clicking the Joseph Cartright logo in the lower left.

Much love,

Oh, I love The Sartorialist! When I look at his pictures I’m reminded that sometimes fashion isn’t necessarily about labels – since he never gives out brands and all that…

Although I’ve read some weird interviews with him…

His girlfriend has a fashion blog as well, Garance? Its really good too!

  7. NINA says:

  8. lexi says:

    LOVE love LOVE BLYTHE!!

LOVE The Sartorialist even more. My most favorite thing to do in Paris was people watch as I ate in the cafes. The Sartorialist lets me do that while I’m at my desk. I get to sigh and wish I was half as fashionable as the Parisian girls or girls of the Lower East Side, NYC or Milan….
