P.S.
Who is Tabs the Cat? About three years ago I befriended a stray, flea-bitten tabby cat with a bad case of worms. I could see he’d fallen on hard times, but his profound knowledge of high fashion and department store cosmetics led me to believe that he was more than meets the eye. We became fast friends, and now he’s actually my boss (and a successful kitty model). 🙂

Ohmigosh the cat wearing the elf hat looks exactly like my Pearlnutkin…I want to stuff him in one but I don’t think he would be having a happy holiday if I did. XD Tabs would rock any sort of kitty apparel but the mistletoe hat would look especially nice methinks!

The Under-the-Mistletoe Hat reminds me of Max’s reindeer headgear.
As in The Grinch’s dog, Max. 🙂

I, personally, think a collar would be the most elegant thing and make the nicest portrait. The rest are kind of tacky, but any of the collars would be wonderful. I like the candy cane one the best as it would contrast nicely with his beautiful, plush, dark tabby fur.
We don’t do Christmas cards with portraits in them, but if we did, Zena would just be in her collar. If we spend the money on portraits, we want them to look elegant as they are expensive for us! Besides, Zena would hate to look anything less than Queenly! By God, she refuses to get her paws wet when it rains! How dare she look ridiculous for a portrait?!

I think the mistletoe hat is cute but not practical. All I can imagine is poor Tabs pawing at his head all day with that thing on. hahaha
Instead I prefer the candy cane collar. Since we’re on the topic of cat outfits, are you gonna get him one for new years? Maybe a black and white tuxedo-ish collar would do nice. Perhaps throwing a cat monocle in the mix? Tabs would definitely be lookin’ fancy! Fancy feast that is! =)

Wow! These are so lovely little outfits for Tabs!

Or, go for the mistletoe AND the twinkle collar!

I love that all the shops are handmade etsy shops! (I have an etsy shop as well). I had a hard time voting as I liked quite a few of them. The mistletoe was adorable as was the trapdoor pajamas! I ultimately chose the angel wings because I felt it was “dapper yet approachable” like Tabs was aiming for. >^..^<

Hehehe – the mistletoe one is the cutest thing ever for a cat! I’m sure it would drive a feline crazy having something dangling above her/his head, but just based on aesthetics alone, wow, it’s adorable!

OMG, some of these were fabulous! I had to think of Tabs’ requirements, though, so I went with the traditional, yet slightly whimsical, candy cane collar. 🙂 It’s going to take me all day to catch up on the posts I’ve missed so I’d better get to it!

The elf hood is hysterical!

Can we get all of them? They’re so cute! I really like the cat cowl though. It looks so chic; he’ll be the envy of any fashion forward kitteh out there! 😀

The trapdoor PJs win for me.

the cowl — i would totally wear that. and snag it around my Linus’s neck!

The mistletoe hat is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I also love the holiday collars. My two kitties have quite the collar collection and I would love to get my hands on some Christmas collars for them.

Oh my god, these are all so incredible, my cat would have a fit, which is all the more reason to stuff him in one and take embarrassing photos. Is Tabs proud of his outfits, or does he just lie in the middle of the floor and sulk, and then try and back out of them quickly? Which of course never works, so they look even sillier.

Jiji would kill me if I tried to do this! I love the mistletoe hat!

I have a feeling Tabs will go apesh*t if I put that on him. It probably won’t stop me from trying, haha!
How old is Jiji?

My cats would shred me if I tried to put on the first two hats, but they are soooooo funny! My 5 and 9 year old daughters really enjoyed looking at all these pictures this morning! I think one of the collars would be the best bet, and you could probably keep all your fingers intact! 😉
Karen says
Hi Stef,
Glad to hear that you and your girls had fun looking at these cat pics. 🙂 So far the collars are getting a LOT of love. Tabs just might be getting that candy cane one as a pre-Christmas gift. 😉

ROLF these are hilarious! Under-the-Mistletoe hat, hands down!
I would say that one for special occasions, the striped gift-wrapper harness for his walks, and the crochet infinity scarf for a shopping trip, and twinkle cats collar for everyday. 😉
