Zena tends to behave very well on her leash. I’ve stopped using a pinch collar on her so she just goes on her fabric one. She does tend to be a bit exuberant when we first start out (she is a terrier!) so I tend to give her a bit of leash to walk ahead of me but on the way back she heels right next to me until we get to my home street than she tends to pull as she wants to go home to lie down.

The only time I’ve seen her misbehave on her leash is when she sees other dogs. She tends to pull and not listen as she wants to sniff them out, especially puppies. One time there was a group of puppies getting their check-up at the vet and Zena managed to get out of her collar to greet them! My mom was left with nothing but a collar and leash! She doesn’t growl or snap unless provoked as she is pretty calm and other dogs tend to follow her as she’s an Alpha.
