Not even wet paws could keep Inspector Tabby from doing his rounds this morning. He thoroughly inspected every inch of the circle looking for perpetrators and infiltrators, neither of which he found.
He did detect something skulking around one of the houses nearby…
I don’t know what it was, but he perked up, pointed and hissed to show it who was boss.
He checked every nook and cranny this time, too. It was pretty early, like about 6:30, so the birds were chirping like cray, but none of the humans were out.
He cranked out a few hundred chin-ups by one of his favorite trees because he likes to stay strong…
And he picked up the scent of something inside or around a very big shrub. He sensually sniffed it for a few minutes before a distant dog’s barking woke him from his reverie…
Just another Saturday on patrol. 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addicts,
Karen and Tabs

I’ve had a few leashed cats. I may have to take my boy cat out. My girl cat won’t be touched in a way that would allow harnessing. Thanks. Tabs is a beautiful boy.

Looks like a nice Sunday stroll for you two!

Glad Inspector Tabby is on the prowl! Who knows what might happen without him?

It must be such a relief for your whole neighborhood knowing that Tabs keeps them safe! Up at 6:30 making sure everything is as it should be.

I love the mellow adventures of Tabs the Kumusta Cat. 🙂

I wish my neighborhood had a Tabs… Here it’s some wussy black cat keeping an eye on things but I just don’t feel safe, she lacks confidence and thoroughness in her patrols!

I really like seeing Tabs out and about in a harness! <3
