At least it’s a sunny day out here in Marin, not that I’m outside enjoying it (pooh). I’m guessing whatever you’re doing today is probably a billion times more fun than what I’m doing — packing, moving and cleaning, bluh!
I’m so tired of talking about packing and moving … but they’re practically all I’ve been doing for weeks. We’re down to the wire now, which means disconnecting the computer and moving the kitteh. Then, tomorrow it’s the remaining furniture with the help of movers.
I can’t wait until I can focus on more interesting and important things like this time lapse video of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Whatcha up to?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Ooh, good luck with the moving and packing, I know that’s hard! I’m not up to much this weekend, but Halloween is a’comin up, so I’ve got a lot to do to get ready!

That cheese or font game is hard! I got, like, the first 10 right and then it went downhill. Apparently, I need to brush up on my cheeses!
At least it’s nice where you live! It’s cold here! Zena is in a sweater as she hates the cold as much as I do.
I haven’t been up to much. I need to get dressed, walk Zena and plow through my essays. <-In order to fully procrastinate, I finished all my other homework to avoid the essays! I know, it’s sad.
Zena went to the vet today for a toenail trim and got weighed. It turns out she lost only .6 of a pound (so she’s 34 even) and that my scale is oh, three pounds off which means I’m three pounds heavier than the stupid scale says….so I actually haven’t lost any weight. Phew!
Hopefully I’ll be able to get my butt to the hair salon and get my bangs trimmed. They keep getting in my eyes.

Oh, moving sucks, but I hope everything goes smoothly! Take a few breaks to breathe today… it’ll lessen the stress.
This weekend I’m hopefully getting everything in order to purchase a vehicle, since mine decided it was tired of running yesterday. :-/ Not what I had planned, but it should go okay.

before I moved away from NYC this summer I saw Yayoi’s mixed media installation at the Gagosian titled “Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity”

it was really beautiful. 🙂
Gagosian has a better pic of it on their site http://www.gagosian.com/exhibitions/2009-04-16_yayoi-kusama/

THAT VIDEO IS AWESOME! Thank you for sharing it! I will have to find a way to download it and use it to talk about clouds in my Earth Science classes . . . Although I’m not sure how “Bay Area” Yosemite is . . . about 4 hours away on a good day! Still, I was just completely mesmerized . . .
I am enjoying my first day of fall break (the district decided to start us near the beginning of August so they could give us a week off in October). About to try making a chicken, egg, sorta-asian-inspired spinach salad. Wish me luck 🙂

My highlight of this weekend was attending a gospel concert and ending up with a migrane headache afterwards 🙁
