So…what is the Monday Poll?
Well, it isn’t exactly a poll. It’s more of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I’ve been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past 10 (!) years. (It’s like a kickstart for your brain.) I’ve always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine.
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
I love them both. They’re the soundtrack of my adolescent years, but since I have to pick one…today I’ll go with Prince (I know, shocker, because I love Madge so much).
But I love dancing to Raspberry Beret, and I played it a lot last week.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
El Hub will say this is sacrilege because he’s all about the pumpkin pie…but I could take it or leave it to be honest. I’m all about that #PSL life! 🙂 Especially when it’s made with coconut milk, YUM!
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Ooh! — liquid foundation today because I’m testing Rihanna’s new FENTY BEAUTY one (Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation). It looks way more natural than I expected.
Speaking of stick foundations, though, sometimes I’m amazed by the number of good flexible coverage ones out there that you can’t even feel on your skin, like Hourglass Vanish and Tarte Clay Stick Foundation, both of which I adore and would be wearing today if it weren’t for testing something new.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Yes, back in college. I had a roommate my freshman year in the dorms, and then for the first year when I moved off campus. And we haven’t kept in touch over the years.
I think I’m the kind of person who does better in her own space…although I have shared a room with El Hub for the last umpteen years, and we haven’t killed each other yet, ha!
Came preeeeety close a few times, though. 🙂
5. What was middle school like for you?
Dude, it was BEYOND awkward. I mean, did anybody have epic middle school years? Because I didn’t. Fifth and sixth grades were particularly awful.
I remember always being stressed out about who I was going to have lunch with and always being physically uncomfortable, too, because my body was changing quickly and suddenly. I also really hated wearing a bra, because I was a total tomboy. I just wasn’t into it.
If sports bras had been available, I would’ve been A LOT less ornery, for sure.
I also remember that none of my pants ever fit right because I started getting hips and a booty… When leggings became a thing (happened when I was in eighth grade), they seriously changed my life.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. Here are the questions to copy and paste. I can’t wait to read your answers! Happy Monday, my friend.
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
5. What was middle school like for you?
Angie says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Prince
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Neither, tyvm. I’ll have pumpkin bread, please.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Powder. But I just found out that TooFaced is discontinuing my favorite. The jerks.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
My sister when we were very little. Then my lovely roommate in college who stole and passed out various things from my closet and drawers to her friends. She was a gem.
5. What was middle school like for you?
I am conflicted on how to answer this, so I suppose the word to use is confusing. Friendships and girls became more difficult. Puberty hit me like a train. My boobs got huge, making attention from boys confusing and uncomfortable. I was 13, tall and weighed maybe 95 lbs soaking wet. I went from nothing to almost a D in one year. I had braces, broke an ankle and had wrist surgery. I made new friends, lost some old ones as I went the athletics route and they went the band route. My daughter is going to middle school next year and I’m not sure that I’m emotionally prepared for that. ??
Chris25 says
1) Prince
2) Pumpkin pie.
3) Powder foundation. I still have to test drive my bare Minerals jar.
4) Yes, my siblings. I never really had my own room because my family is poor and we’ve only ever lived in apartments.
5) It was actually decent. I was class president and well liked.
Jane says
I love the Monday polls, so here goes
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.) Prince without a doubt.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie? I am a traditionalist and don’t love flavored coffee drinks, so I definitely have to go with pumpkin pie.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation. Tinted moisturizer. I haven’t found a liquid foundation I like since Bobbi brown discontinued the Moisture Rich foundation. My skin is very dry and that was the best moisturizing foundation for me. I like the convenience of stick foundations, but even Bobbi’s is not as moisturizing as it used to be.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone? When I was young, I shared a room with my sister until I was 9. Then we each had our own rooms. I went to sleep away camp for five years and shared space with at least 12 girls. I then shared a dorm room in college.
5. What was middle school like for you? I never went to middle school, my elementary school was K-8. I then went to high school which is a period in my life I try to forget.
So, I hope those impacted by hurricanes Harvey & Irma have made it through. My folks survived Irma in Florida and have power. My thoughts are also with those who lost a loved one 16 years ago today. I was living in the city at that time and it is a day I will never forget.
Be well!
Chelsea says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Prince! I’m not a huge Madonna fan.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
I guess pumpkin pie, because I hate coffee. I don’t actually like pumpkin pie though!
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
I mixed liquid foundation with sunscreen today to make a tinted moisturizer… So liquid foundation? LOL
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
My husband and my brother! I’m actually terrible to share a bed with because I get night terrors and wake up screaming on a regular basis. This has also caused me to kick the shit out of my husband in my sleep.
5. What was middle school like for you?
Oh god. I wasn’t cool at all and got made fun of a lot because I cried a lot and had a bald spot at one point from compulsive hair pulling so some kids called me Rogaine. I had the best friend in the world though, who I’m still really good friends with and I’m auntie to her son.
Jaclyn Levy says
1. Madonna. I love that she’s a “woman of a certain age” still kicking ass, and doing her thing without giving an eff about being “age appropriate.” She’s still breaking rules. ❤
2. Pumpkin pie! My mom and sis make it from scratch each year and it’s divine.
3. Powder foundation. I have the most experience with it over the others!
4. I’ve shared a room with someone ever since college. I had a different roommate each year in college then got married shortly after graduation.
5. I was totally oblivious, in my own little world. I missed a lot of drama thanks to mostly being unaware. Sure I was boy crazy, had acne, glasses, and braces, but I didn’t come out of it too traumatized!
Syah says
1. Madonna! 😀
2. Pumpkin pie all the way.
3. Tinted moisturizer. I’m not much of a base gal (i.e. I am crap at doing base makeup) so I just stick to my Suntegrity 5-in-1 tinted sunscreen.
4. Yes. All my life actually. With my sisters all the way up to college when I had roomies and then, when I moved in with El Hub. I like sharing space. 🙂
5. Awkward AF. Plus, I had to see a psychiatrist at one point because the school system in Singapore stressed me out so much I had a mental breakdown. At 11. Not lying.
Tulipthecat says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Hmmm…. I’m going to go with Prince
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
I’m not a pumpkin fan but if I had to choose I would go with pumpkin spice latte
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Actually today I chose powder foundation because I was tired and running late to work
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Nope…no one for any extended period of time
5. What was middle school like for you?
I went to a catholic school so I was at the same school from first grade through eighth grade so the concept of middle school is confusing to me. I don’t remember much about that time.
Andee Hernandez says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Prince all the way even though I do have love for Madge. Prince just gets my booty moving!
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Pumpkin pie- PSL is not for me.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Powder foundation because it lays better for me and gives me life! Tinted moisturizers are always off a hue on me, liquid foundation alone should be a sin, stick foundations are usually too oily later in the day on me and cushion compact leaves me too dusty looking.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
My brother in between moves and then my oldest son for a short stint.
5. What was middle school like for you?
It was actually pretty fun, high school was probably slightly traumatizing, but both were better than elementary school.
Suzanne C says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Prince. I still love 80’s to early 2000’s Madonna, but now she’s just trying waaaaaay too hard to keep up with the younger artists. She should’ve done what Prince did- stand back and say “I’m a legend; you keep up with me”. Prince is timeless. Madonna has made herself sad and irrelevant.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Pie. PSL just seems nasty to me.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Tinted moisturizer. Although putting on any makeup seems silly, since the hurricane just came through and we literally cannot go anywhere, lol.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Just my ex-husband.
5. What was middle school like for you?
I was homeschooled for middle school. The schools where we lived at the time were too dangerous for a law enforcement officer’s daughter.
Shannon says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
I hate to admit this, but… I don’t know either of their music very well. *runs and hides in a corner*
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Man…. if I have to pick, I’m going with pumpkin pie. (Although what I really, REALLY look forward to in the fall is pumpkin beer!)
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Tinted moisturizer, please! No-fuss is where I’m at today.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Yup! I shared a room with my brother AND my sister (bro was on the top bunk, sis and I slept head-to-toe in the bottom bunk) until I was… oh, four or so? Then we moved, and my sister and I shared a room until she went to college (she’s just about a year older than me). Then I had a roommate the 2 years I was at school, and then immediately got married… So technically, I’ve shared a room with someone for 28 of the 29 years I’ve been around! Crazy.
5. What was middle school like for you?
Hmm.. I was homeschooled, so church was basically my social life/”middle school” experience. I remember really loving 8th grade – I think it was because I was kind of becoming my own person, and I didn’t have to “share” time with my sister in social situations (since she was a freshman – and my church split up the Jr High/Highschool kids). I was way dorky and insecure, but so was everyone else. Overall, it really could’ve been worse, I think.
Christine says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
I’m in a Prince sort of mood today.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
If it’s life or death, PSL. I really, really don’t like pumpkin.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Liquid foundation – ’cause that’s what I’m wearing! I’ve really fallen in love with CoverFX Natural Finish…so much so I might invest in one of their click sticks.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
My freshmen year of college I had a roommate and we shared a room (and suite with 2 other girls). It was okay, we don’t keep in touch (we got along swimmingly as roommates but, life paths and such). I currently share a room with my other half. He’s pretty alright. 😉
5. What was middle school like for you?
BLEHHHHHH. I was fresh out of a small private school going into a large public school in 5th grade – I knew very few people, and those I did know wound up being bullies (I did gain some really awesome friends, though). I was also way taller than everyone…I was 5’3″ in 5th grade and grew to 5’8″ in 8th. Cute boys I liked? All shorter, which is the epitome of awkward in middle school.
Michele Martinelli DiCola says
1. Im gonna have to go w Madonna ! When Vogue came out , that clinched it . I was Vogueing all over !
2. Pumpkin ? spice in everything. And Pumpkin ? pancakes ! How many sp ‘s are they ?
3. Love my cushion compact . I thought they invented it for me so I bought everyone out there .
4. Shared a room w my sister until I left for college then married after I graduated .
5. I actually liked Middle School but dreaded High School !
Kate & Zena says
Hi Karen! I’m relishing these last hours of having the Internet before we get disconnected until Saturday. I guess without Internet, cable or Wi-fi (sniff, no Netflix!) I’ll have run out of excuses of prolonging packing. I move on Friday!
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Madonna.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
I don’t like pumpkin anything, but my mom likes pumpkin pie, so I’ll get the pie for her. 🙂
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Tinted moisturizer. I really don’t like anything that feels even the tiniest bit heavy, especially when I have to pack!
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
When I was little, I did. I shared with my younger brother.
5. What was middle school like for you?
TERRIBLE! The one teacher who taught me to LIKE math in 6th grad died very unexpectedly just a few months into the school year (I never liked math after that), 9/11 happened when I was in 7th grade and I was bullied so relentlessly I honestly considered suicide for a time. I’m very thankful to the people who stood up for me and showed me I was worth something because I don’t think I’d be here if it weren’t for them. My high school years were better, but I was overall thankful when I graduated from compulsory education. I had no idea my college was a lot like my high school. Ugh.
Barb says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
I love Madonna’s early stuff. Not a big fan or her newer stuff so I’m going with Prince on this one.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Gosh, I love both but I’ll go with the PSL.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Liquid. I’m wearing the Clinique one today. You know the one with the big wand. I forget what the heck it’s called!
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Nope.
5. What was middle school like for you?
Yikes, very awkward. I started developing and my chest went from non-existent to pretty darn big very quickly. The attention that bought was uncomfortable and confusing. Plus, I was a total tomboy and felt self conscious playing with my brothers and his friends. I didn’t have any sisters to hang with, just two brothers and sometimes the attention from their friends was very disconcerting.
Katie says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
I love both, but it’s gotta be Prince! I love Raspberry Beret.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
I don’t like PSL, so it’s got to be pie! My mom makes a pie from the New York Times, based on a pie made by Marcus Samuelsson for an Obama state dinner. It replaces the traditional pumpkin pie spices with garam masala and it is sooooo good. She does cut most of the sugar out, though, and it somewhere bridges the gap between a dessert and a vegetable dish!
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
I’m wearing liquid foundation, so I’ll say liquid! Second choice is totally tinted moisturizer.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Yup! The first year of college they shoved three of us into a room built for 2 (and it would have been tight with 2), and then the next two years I was in a room with one other girl.
5. What was middle school like for you?
Eh, not great. I wasn’t bullied but that’s when I developed depression, and I ended up pretty isolated. My parents’ divorce and my dad’s quick remarriage didn’t help, and no matter who you are, puberty is killer!
Astrid says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Madonna! I love her chameleon beauty + Material Girl FTW ?.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Hmm… tough choice but spice latte for me.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
I wore a cushion compact today, so I guess that’s it.
PS: can’t wait for your review of FENTY BEAUTY!!!
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
I’m an only child, so no, I’ve (and need) my own space. Well now I share a room with the hubs ?.
5. What was middle school like for you?
I’m not sure if my definition of middle school is the same with you, but given that you said 5-6th grade, I’d say quite bad. I was bullied at school. I’ve some really good friends from that period, but I remember the feeling of I can’t wait to be done with middle school so I can go to a different junior high!
Tatiana says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.) Uh, Madonna, I guess.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie? Ew, gross! Neither. Can I just say, coffee should taste like coffee.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation. Tinted moisturizer.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone? Yeah, freshman year in college in the dorm and junior year in a house. Hated my freshman roommate. Still friends with my junior year roommate 37 years later.
5. What was middle school like for you? Pure hell. Could not wait to get out of there.
LindaLibraLoca says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Madonna. Not even a second of hesitation!
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Neither? I don´t like coffee and I am not too keen on the pie either.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Liquid foundation. My safe bet for the office.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
My sister when we were younger the 6, does that count? Other than that only with the varying men in my life. Wait, that sounds like there have been many, there haven´t. Just a few. And so far I killed none of them, but I definitely do better with my own space.
5. What was middle school like for you?
Uneventful. I was pretty boring back then, and not really feeling myself, body wise and interest wise. If I got my way all I would do is stay at home and read all night.
Trude says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
So tough! I think Madge had a bigger influence on me though. 🙂
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Ouch! Since I can’t really drink espresso right now, I’ll have the (whole) pie please. 😉
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Liquid, always and forever.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Except for significant others, not since my brother and I were kids. 🙂
5. What was middle school like for you?
Tough for me too – isn’t it for everyone though? We moved after I finished 6th grade so everything and everyone was new for me, including switching from elementary to junior high format.
Erin says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
I love both but probably Madonna.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Pie… though I’m not a fan of either really.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
TM, got a lot today so I need something with flexibility and high SPF
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Yes, multiple people actually. My sister and my brother.
5. What was middle school like for you?
I was homeschooled and life at home was beyond terrible, so pretty bad 🙁
Pam says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Love them both, but have to say Madonna! Tried to dress and look like her as much as my mom would let me going to Catholic grade school.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
Love every and anything pumpkin, but between the two would take the latte, homemade of course which is healthier.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Tinted moisturizer!
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Only on a girls trip to the beach!
5. What was middle school like for you?
I went to the same Catholic elementary school from 1st-8th grade, it was great. I enjoyed those years better than high school!
Jennifer says
What color plaid did you have to wear? We had red plaid jumpers in elementary school then green plaid skirts when I went to high school!
Lulle says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.)
Prince I guess. I’m not really into Madonna’s most recent releases.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie?
What’s with the pumpkin obsession exactly? Did pumpkins of the world unite and paid tons of money to a really good PR company or what? Because let’s face the truth: pumpkin is not that good. At all. It kind of tastes like a melon gone bad. And pumpkin scented everything… Stick your nose into a pumpkin, what does it smell like? Nothing if it’s not rotten, except some standard fresh veggie. So it’s neither for me. I’ll have a peppermint mocha or a pecan pie!
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation.
Powder foundation! That’s my go-to when I’m lazy (=most days).
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone?
Not counting my partner, no, and I don’t think I would have fared very well if I had to. I really need my personal space and time away from other people.
5. What was middle school like for you?
Rather miserable. I was bullied by difficult kids a few times, one stole my money (not that I had much), another told all his friends to punch me when they saw me in the school hallway. Luckily that didn’t last, but we had some severe discipline problems and occasionally some violence at my school.
Beyond that, I was just really socially awkward (not that I’m exactly a butterfly today), I had crushes on guys but would never dare to tell them, I had a handful of friends I would spend all my time with doing basically nothing while the popular kids seemed to have a great life. Kids just seemed particularly mean to each other in a desperate effort to appear cool. That was by far the worst of my school years!
Tisha says
1. Madonna
2. PSL
3. Powder foundation
4. Yes, throughout under graduation
5. Middle school years were sort of the precursor to my teenage years and all the existential angst that came with it. Seriously, I switched countries after 6th grade and from 7th grade through the rest of high school I never really felt at home even though I WAS in my home country. I only truly embraced my country once I was in college and came to the understanding/realization that India is wonderful and my generation was awesome.
CL says
1. Madonna or Prince?
Madonna. I wasn’t listening to much FM radio when Prince became popular, so I don’t really know his catalogue, even now.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie? Nothing pumpkin for me, at all.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation. Tinted moisturizer.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone? Brother, from age 3 to 11.
5. What was middle school like for you? As someone else here posted, pure hell. No one, teacher or student, ever stood up for me or did the right thing. By the way, in the school system I had to go to, it was “junior high,” grades 7 through 9.
Kim says
Happy Tuesday! I’m very impressed with your memory, though Middle School was not quite as long ago for you! 🙂
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.) I have to go with Madonna.
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie? I’m with you on the latte.
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation. Tinted moisturizer, for sure.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone? Yes, in college. With 2 of my best friends (on separate occasions, not all 3 of us together) and once with a total stranger. I haven’t kept in touch with the stranger but we got along very well and she was a nice person. The other 2 I still talk to/email/see nearly every day. But, we’ve been friends since elementary school.
5. What was middle school like for you? Middle school here is now 6th, 7th and 8th grade but, when I was in school, it was Junior High and it was 7th and 8th. I’ve always loved school so, while I can’t remember all the specifics from those days, I know that I was very happy in general. I do remember being SO nervous at first because I went to a small Catholic elementary school and we were merging with all the kids from 3 larger public schools in Jr High. Our 6th grade teacher made it seem like we’d be teased and have a terrible time so I was pretty worried. That turned out to not be the case, thankfully. 🙂
Jennifer says
1. Madonna or Prince? (Sorry! I know it’s cruel, but you have to pick one.) Prince
2. Pumpkin spice latte or pumpkin pie? pumpkin pie
3. Pick one (only one) to wear today: tinted moisturizer, a cushion compact, liquid foundation, stick foundation or powder foundation. Tinted Moisturizer. I really love Laura Mercier’s oil-free tinted moisturizer in nude. I’ve been wearing it for years.
4. Have you ever shared a room with someone? My freshman year of college and it was a real pain in the rear. I’m much better in my own space.
5. What was middle school like for you? It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great. I had a good circle of friends but I felt so incredibly awkward All The Time.
Pam says
To Jennifer-
We wore mostly navy with red, yellow and green stripe through it in grade school, then high school we were the last all girls high school in the country to wear a full side zip jumper skirt. We kept it because they let us wear any sweater or shoes we wanted! I loved wearing a uniform, so easy for getting ready in the morning!!
