So…what is the Monday Poll?
Well, it isn’t exactly a poll. It’s more of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I’ve been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past 10 (!) years. (It’s like a kickstart for your brain.) I’ve always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine. ?
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Damn my alarm to hell and stay in bed for 10 more minutes, LOL! I really, REALLY didn’t want to get out of my comfy bed this morning, but c’est la vie. I had to.
I set my alarm for 5:30 during the week, and sometimes it’s hard to get ye olde booty out of bed. The baby’s been waking up in the middle of the night lately. Sometimes she screams and then cries herself back to sleep (I think she has very vivid dreams). Other nights she’ll just be up talking happily to herself for hours in the dark.
If she’s upset and can’t soothe herself, I’ll rub her back for a few minutes and give give her her binky, and that usually works.
She got up a few times last night, so I’m kinda tired today.
It doesn’t really bother me though. Everything’s temporary, and someday I’m sure I’ll look back and really miss this time.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
I’m pretty sure I’ve asked this question before, so if I have, sorry! It just occurred to me again. 🙂
My answer has gotta be my brother. We have a very similarly weird sense of humor, and I always know that if I throw a random observation or joke his way, he’ll totally get it. Always does.
El Hub always gets my jokes, too, as do my friends Jen and Cindy.
I like to think that Tabs gets my jokes, too, but he’s gotten much more official and serious in his senior tabby years.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
Oh, boy, I have so many to choose from if you put any stock in beauty magazines and big Instagram beauty accounts. Seriously, how dare a woman have pores?! It’s like they aren’t allowed.
I actually love that my right eye is slightly bigger than my left eye. Most people can’t tell, but I can, especially when I take pics directly facing the camera, which is why you’ll see me taking pics at an angle a lot.
It makes doing symmetrical eye makeup more of a challenge, for sure, and I don’t mind a challenge. Plus, it makes me different.
And another reason I love it is because Connor Claire has it too. It’s genetics at work.
It was more noticeable when Connor was a teeny, tiny baby than it is now, but her left eye is slightly smaller than her right. She gets that from her mama. 🙂
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
Girl, the moves would be questionable. They’d all be from 1992-2002 and not executed very well at all, but I think I’d score extra points in the sass department.
Seriously, I would bring it in a dance battle. Watch out! Karen’s comin’ for you full force!
5. Why does makeup matter?
Everyone probably has a different answer for this, but makeup matters to me because it cheers me up, makes me feel better about myself and reminds me of good times. I think that anything that can make somebody feel better about themselves, no matter how frivolous it is, whether it’s putting on lipstick or a coat of mascara, is a potentially good thing, because positive energy like that can transfer to the people around us and infuse the work we do and the way we interact with each other. When I feel put together, it definitely changes the running dialogue in my head.
So even though lip gloss is a little thing in the bigger picture, it matters because of its power to change your perspective into something more positive.
6. Three things that make you happy?
- Cute spring/summer dresses
- Ice cream cones
- Freshly painted nails
The coffee is slowly but surely kicking in, AH! It’s taking longer than usual today…but I have faith that it’ll work. T-minus 10 minutes to full consciousness!
Hi there, friend. Happy Monday. 🙂 I’m sitting here with a fresh coat of a new shade by Smith & Cult on my nails called Exit the Void. I like.
I hope you have a wonderful week filled with encouragement and accomplishment. I also hope that your nails remain shiny and un-chipped.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Marina (Makeup4all) says
Hi Karen,
It’s been a while since I’ve stopped by for a Monday Poll.
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was a long shower with my favourite products!
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? Myself, ahahaha. And most of my friends.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? I don’t even know, will have to think about it now.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? I’d just improvise.
5. Why does makeup matter? Because it allows you to be creative and look the way you want to/feel like on that day.
6. Three things that make you happy? My family, good food and reading books.
Jennifer says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…put some change in a jar for my 365-day money saving challenge.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? my husband
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? No. I have them but I don’t love them.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? Horribly! Dancing is not one of my skill sets.
5. Why does makeup matter? Makeup matters because it gives the wearer power. Also, the beauty industry is good for the economy!
6. Three things that make you happy? hearing my son laugh, yoga, painting my nails.
Leah G. says
Yoga makes me happy as well! 🙂
Fieran says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Look at my phone to see if it was the main alarm or the back-up alarm. I set 2-3 alarms a day to give me a semblance of options but the reality is: I need to get out of this cocoon of comfort that I dub “the blankie monster”.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
The husband. He finds me very funny – even when I’m not being funny. Grmbl.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
My big toes are a lot shorter than my second toes. While it doesn’t bother me, I find it interesting.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
I can’t dance to save my life 🙂
5. Why does makeup matter?
It gives me something to look forward to. On the days that I wear eyeshadow and eyeliner, I feel more put together. I wear foundation, corrector, concealer, mascara and lipstick everyday but only wear eye makeup some days.
6. Three things that make you happy?
Coffee, a good book, a berry lipstick.
Tammy says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Hit the snooze button…3 times. Mondays. ?
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
My husband. He understands my weird because he is the same kind of weird.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
My birthmarks. I have small one on my right cheek that’s not very noticable now that I’m grown, and that makes me kind of sad. I like it a lot. I also have one in the middle of my chest that’s shaped like Thailand, for real.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
I’m sure my moves would be dated, but I’d win with attitude.
5. Why does makeup matter?
It makes me feel more put together and confident. Concealer and a swipe of bright lipstick and I’m ready to take down the patriarchy! Or, ya know, just deal with my day. ?
6. Three things that make you happy?
Fluffy corgis, my husband, fries
Karen says
Hi Tammy,
I have a birth mark on the back of my thigh shaped like Florida. 🙂 Geographical birth marks are the best!
Tammy says
Girl, YAAAS!
Efrain says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Thinking about the fact that I could get more sleep because today is a national holiday but my brain thought it was a good idea to wake up at 7.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
My sister because many of our jokes are in Spanglish. Also my friend Paola who is hilarious.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
I don’t consider them imperfections but I love my beauty marks and freckles. I also have one eye smaller than the other! Talking about eyes I really love their form even though my kids are quite particular, halfway between monolids and double lids.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
Well if it’s twerking I may win the battle, but if it’s from a lot of styles I’d get the prize for the best effort.
5. Why does makeup matter?
Because it makes us feel better, and it’s like any other hobby; you get happier when you do it.
Also I believe it can make people feel nearer, and an example is us.
6. Three things that make you happy?
1) Sunny days.
2) Chatting with friends.
3) Good food (I ate the best nachos in my life on Saturday, the had melted cheese, black beans, BBQ pork, avocado, onions and chilies; they were glorious).
Have you seen anything new in Netflix? I started seeing Shadowhunters and while the first chapters aren’t as good as they should after the third I just needed to finish it so I binge watched the two seasons in a week. I also started to watch Master of None and the second chapter reminded me of your parents.
Happy Monday Karen, hugs to the little Connor.
Karen says
Hi Efrain,
YES! Have you heard of a series called Love? It’s about a couple in Los Angles in their 30s who may or may not get together. The main characters are flawed but endearing, and the writing is excellent! I think you’d enjoy it.
What are you up to on your day off?
Efrain says
I just realized my phone wrote kids instead of eyes >.<
Everybody is loving Love, I need to see it. I've recently watched One day at a time, is about a Cuban-american family and I think it's a really cute and lighthearted, so it's the perfect show when you need something light but warming. I have to caution that you may cry because of the story and the fact that you're a mom.
It was good we went to Chautla Hacienda which is about an hour in car but since we arrived to Puebla we haven't been there so after 20 years we finally went. It was a beautiful place and then we went to a popular restaurant in the city center. So it was a great day.
What about yours?
Chelsea says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Check my phone. I got up earlier than I needed to so I laid in bed for a while.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
Heather! My bestest friend.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
I used to hate my freckles but I like them now. Now I just need some sun so they come back out.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
A lot of body rolls and shimmying.
5. Why does makeup matter?
It’s an art form and armor.
6. Three things that make you happy?
Dog memes, ManandBunny on Instagram, and reading young adult fantasy novels.
Karen says
Hi Chelsea!
Have you read any good young adult novels lately?
Happy Monday!
Allison C. says
Oh, I just love the photo of you and Connor! She’s getting so big and you both look so happy <3
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…turn on NPR.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? Hmmm, gotta give that one some thought. I'm more serious than jokey so it's more random. Whoever is around when I make a rare joke 😉
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? my dimples
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? I've never seen either of those movies, so IDK, sorry
5. Why does makeup matter? It's an easy way of personal expression and transformation. I have always loved makeup, and I'm sad that so few women in my generation wear it.
6. Three things that make you happy? sunshine, flowers, summer
Karen says
Thanks Allison! She’s officially a toddler, but she’ll always be my baby.
Happy Monday!
Leah G. says
Hi Karen! I hear you on that morning alarm. It always takes me at least 20 minutes to get out of bed. 🙂
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
went downstairs and fed Maximus. Meow!
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? My husband and close friends.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? My hips and shoulders are uneven due to scoliosis but you can’t really tell by looking at me. So those are good imperfections in my mind.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? If it was like Zumba or this other class I take called Dance Jam I’d do okay. If I’m following the leader I can totally rock it. Without a dance leader up there shakin’ it I’m lost!
5. Why does makeup matter? Makeup matters because it’s fun and it lets you put your best face forward.
6. Three things that make you happy?
– hiking in the woods
– traveling to somewhere new
– being stuck home on a snow day with hubby and Maximus
Karen says
Hey Leah!
I will never understand people who can immediately jump out of bed and feel awake. My hubs is like that and it drives me CRAZY. If I had my way, I’d spend 45 minutes in bed just chilling every day after the alarm goes off. That would be optimal!
Say hi to Maximus for me. 🙂
Leah G. says
Maximus was so good on Saturday when we had friends over. There were 9 of us total for our annual St. Patty’s Day dinner. 🙂 He made sure to socialize with all of the friends there and everyone said they could not believe he’s nearly 17!
Tell Tabs I said hello too!
ericca says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was… get my phone
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? my nephew
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? I am perfectly imperfect
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? bad. i am an extrovert but all eyes on my causes me to freeze. and they can still dance on those movies.
5. Why does makeup matter? because it can change a person. whether go or bad its a tool . a tool for change
6. Three things that make you happy? my nephew. cupcakes , being there when the ups or usps man comes.
Rachel R. says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was… I always head straight to the bathroom first thing.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? My kids always laugh at my jokes, no matter how dumb.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? I think the freckles on the bridge of my nose are cute.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? I’d be utterly awful. I can’t dance. lol
5. Why does makeup matter? It’s an artistic form of self-expression, and for me the application process is very calming.
6. Three things that make you happy? 1) Little kids and babies 2) animals 3) colors
Karen says
Hi Rachel,
I love freckles, especially on the nose. Did you know that people are getting tattoos of freckles?! I read about it a couple weeks ago and thought, “Hmm! Glad I didn’t have to get any needles up in the mix to get mine.” LOL
Rachel R. says
I hadn’t heard of tattooing freckles. I’ve seen makeup tutorials for faking freckles. It’s funny how they’re on trend now!
Katie says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Snooze my alarm!
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
Hmm… probably no one. Usually when I tell jokes, people don’t get that they’re jokes!
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
Ooh, my nose! It used to be my absolute least favorite thing about my appearance and I could not WAIT to get a nose job. Now I can’t even imagine it. I think it’s kind of sad how beautiful features like large noses are considered ugly.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
Not good! I’m a terribly dorky dancer. My biggest dancing skill is making people laugh.
5. Why does makeup matter?
I started wearing makeup to make me feel better about my appearance. Now I wear makeup because I like the colors and textures! It’s a fine line to walk, personally and societally.
6. Three things that make you happy?
My cat, sundress-weather, and finishing a knitting project! Nothing feels better than when I can combine all three, curling up in a comfy dress with my cat and a project.
Karen says
Hi Katie,
This is totally unrelated to the poll but I’ve yet to find those chickpeas at Target that we talked about a few weeks back. Every time I go in they’re never in stock! WAAAH!
Anywho, I hope you’re having a nice Monday so far. What knitting project are you currently working on?
Katie says
Arg that’s so frustrating!
I’m working on a pair of socks right now. My goal for 2017 is to knit a pair a month for the year!
Karen says
One of these days I’ll finally get that snack in my tum! I’m craving them extra now because I had a salad over the weekend with roasted chickpeas.
That’s so cool that you can knit socks. I can barely do a scarf. What colors are you using?
Katie says
I have two pairs going right now! A bright rich pink pair with a kind of vine lace pattern for my “March” pair, and a plain pair for “April” that I’m knitting in self-striping yarn in pinks, purples, browns, and sage green. I’m hoping to post about both pairs on my blog tonight, I just have to see if I can get some good pictures to show off the color! That’s always the hardest part.
breyerchic says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Sort through emails laying in bed petting the cat.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
The mostly online friend I’ve had since I was 17.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
I’ve had a birthmark/mole on my nose since I was born, and it’s really part of me.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
Terribly!
5. Why does makeup matter?
Because it allows for personal style and improves confidence. Also sparkles
6. Three things that make you happy?
My pets, coca cola, women’s rights being equal
Karen says
Hi Breyerchic,
Good point about the sparkles. It’s absolutely one of the best things about makeup.
Hope you’re having a lovely day so far. Happy Spring!
Stephanie Smith says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…put perfume on. This is weird for me because I’ve never ever really been into perfume, but I got a sample of Nest’s Citrine in my Sephora Play box a few months ago and loved it! I bought a bottle and spray it on ALL day long. If I could bathe in it, I would. I’m almost out of my bottle, so a new one will be coming soon.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? My two daughters, ages 11 and 14. Although my 14 year old tries to roll her eyes at me first, before laughing. The husband too, if I can make him laugh, then I’m golden.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? I have terrible eyesight, really bad, -9 in both eyes. But I love my glasses, big thick black frames. They’re my signature look.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? Guuuuuuuuurl, I can out “running man” everyone! 90’s hip hop moves are my jam! Twerking however, not in my wheelhouse.
5. Why does makeup matter? Anything that a woman, or man actually, can do to improve their self esteem, is important. If a bright lip or filled in brows will make me feel more confident, then it is important. Every woman has that one lipstick or eyeliner trick that makes them feel invincible.
6. Three things that make you happy? Coffee, dandelions, new socks.
Karen says
Hi Stephanie,
I’ll have to give that Nest scent a sniff! They make such beautiful fragrances. I just looked up the notes and it sounds like something I’d like. I’m all about the freesia, especially for spring.
Chris25 says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…check Instagram and scratch Zoe’s ears.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?: My friend Asia.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?: My gray hairs. They’re streaked into my naturally dark tresses.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?: Poorly. They’d send me to the guillotine if they saw how I dance.
5. Why does makeup matter?: It matters because it changes the way we look at ourselves, and allows us to see ourselves in different lights.
6. Three things that make you happy?: Music, books and talking to my close friends.
Erin says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Turn off my alarm and think of calling in sick.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
Me, mostly. My husband does most of the time. My mormon friend Louie, oddly enough. I’m pretty sarcastic and crass but I also love puns. It’s not a combination to everyones tastes. Now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure it’s only men who laugh at my jokes currently.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
Even though I’m heavier than I would like to be by a fair amount, I don’t mind having a fuller face now. Makes me look a little younger.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
I have no idea. All my moves are goth, ballet, ballroom, or belly dance. Not really current, lol.
5. Why does makeup matter?
Creativity. You can be you or someone else or a better version of yourself.
6. Three things that make you happy?
1. Pets
2. Food
3. Wine
I know it’s cheesy but the right combo of those things can make any day brighter. Luckily, even living with depression and anxiety, I can always find something small for a little moment of happiness.
Jae says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Hit the snooze button then literally rolled myself out of bed. I’m so NOT a morning person.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
My bff. She just gets my humor which is comforting and my oldest son shares in the same type of humor I have. Looooves it!
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
My button nose. Hubby says its cute but I never like it. Kinda learned to accept it over the years and have grown to love it. After entering this particular decade though, these little freckles have cropped up on my face and I’m like, “Ummm, no.” Again, no one notices them but I do! Nothing that a full coverage foundation can’t cover so eh, I’ll deal. But I don’t like them. lol
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
Thank goodness for my kids and their love of singing and dancing (which may or may not be a direct influence of their mom) because they’re always keeping me dancing so if I rolled out on the dance floor with my two boys, we’d totally bring it. Let’s be clear though, I’d defintiely be their back up dancer but I’d be out there like I was 20 again! lol
5. Why does makeup matter?
My son asked me something similar yesterday on our long drive home from socal. And I told him that I love the way it makes me feel. I love how I can change my look with just a different colored lippy or look like I got 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep with a solid foundation and concealer (and an arsenal of other products too, lol). But ultimately, make up is important because it’s something that I do for ME.
6. Three things that make you happy?
a. When my coffee is made perfectly (the right strength & creamer amount)
b. My mom in law’s kare kare
c. When I’m getting all the love/snuggles and laughs from my kiddos…its heaven.
Tatiana says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was… Hug Dear Husband good-bye for the day. He left for the office at 7:30. Ugh. Btw, how do you ever manage to get up at 5:30? I could never.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? Dear Husband and Dear Daughter. We have the same warped, snarky, sarcastic sense of humor.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? All of them? I’m so imperfect that if I didn’t love all of it, I’d end up hating myself and that’s a “no go” in my book. Starter list, thinning hair, mismatched brows, different eye sizes, crooked teeth, large ears, weight struggles, the list could go on.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? Wouldn’t do very well at all.
5. Why does makeup matter? In the big scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter. But it’s the small pleasures that make life better. For me, makeup is like a hug from a loved one.
6. Three things that make you happy? 1) Dear Husband and Dear Daughter. We’re tight knit. 2) The Arts – Visual, performing, etc. They make life richer, more beautiful and thought provoking. 3) Furry beasts- Cats, dogs, horses. Yours, mine and strays I meet along the way.
laura says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was eating breakfast.
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? My mom.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? So many. My broken front teeth for example.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? Terribly. But I would try.
5. Why does makeup matter? It matters because it changes the way I feel. It gives me power.
6. Three things that make you happy? Food. Jokes. Love.
Eleni says
Before I start with the list, I love the picture with Connor Claire!! And, happy Spring!
Let’s go:
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was… To make coffee
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? My mum
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? A little burn mark on my left hand – it’s got a half heart shape 🙂
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? Not very well!
5. Why does makeup matter? I guess, it’s creative isn’t it?
6. Three things that make you happy? Sun, sea, family
Trude says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was…
Set the alarm back and slept 20 minutes more – hair went up in a ponytail today! 😉
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes?
My mom and my BFF, bless them. It’s a W if I can get my husband to really crack up.
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love?
My eyes are too small for my face, but wearing glasses the last 12 years has made me appreciate them more and love them for their color.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do?
Terrible! I can learn choreography (hello, show choir) but forget it if I have to dance battle. 🙂
5. Why does makeup matter?
Because it helps me present what I feel like inside – I get to even out my blotchy redness and make my blonde lashes and brows visible.
6. Three things that make you happy?
I’m with you sister, there’s nothing like freshly done nails. Also a good cup of tea in the morning and my husband’s amazing quick wit. 🙂
Kim says
1. The first thing I did after I woke up this morning was… Hit snooze, 3 times. It’s an everyday thing. I’m a crazy person who can’t stand the thought of waking up before 6 AM – and who also must snooze 3 times – so I set my clock ahead by half an hour. That way, I see 6:00 when the alarm goes off and am still never late. I’m sure that makes no sense to anyone else. 🙂
2. Someone in your life who always laughs at your jokes? My good friends all get my sense of humor. The Hubs and the boys try not to laugh at the corny jokes, so as not to encourage me. HAHA!
3. Do you have any “imperfections” (quote, unquote) that you love? No, this sounds awful but I hate them all.
4. If you were to battle it out on the dance floor like in those cheesy dance movies like Step Up and Honey, how do you think you’d do? Unless I had several drinks, I would not be challenging anyone. 🙂
