You might be wondering, “So what in tarnation is this Monday Poll thing anyway!?”
Well, it isn’t exactly a poll. It’s more of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I’ve been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past seven years. (It’s like a kickstart for your brain.) I’ve always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine.
- I hate to shop for…
For someone who frequents Home Goods so much, I actually hate shopping for home stuff because I’m terribly indecisive when it comes to picking stuff for walls, or for the furniture. It’s just I have this irrational idea that once I get like a pillow I’m gonna be stuck with that pillow for the next 20 years, and I can’t – so I stand there, like I’m literally in the aisle looking at all the pillows, but what if I don’t like this blue seashell pillow when I’m like 55, I’ll still have to look at it till then, and it paralyzes me. - I love to shop for…
Everything else (other than home stuff), but shoes and makeup and kitty things especially. And coats.Basically, I like shopping for anything that will still fit if my weight can fluctuate up and down.
Oh, and purses.
- You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
Well, the first thing I do is fix my wonky right brow, which is shorter than my left brow, so the tail end usually fades throughout the day…So I’ll fix my right wonky brow, then I’ll give my lashes a quick curl — but very gently, of course, because I don’t want to pull out any eyelashes. Then I’ll throw on another layer of mascara, and quickly rim my eyes.
Since I wear nude lips a lot (just because they’re easier for me and I don’t have to deal with lip pencil or whatever), I’ll usually do another layer of whichever nude lipstick or gloss or lip liner I happen to be wearing.
I kind of like to be a little shiny because I like my skin glowing, but if I have an extra 20 seconds or so, I’ll powder my forehead, which tends to get a little shinier than the rest of my face.
- What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
Years ago (I think it was 2007) when I interviewed Paris Hilton, I’d been out of the corporate workforce for a long time, so I had to get an interview outfit. I bought this basic black dress at H&M for like $20 that I still wear. It’s black jersey, easy to pack. It’s not really trendy… It’s kind of one of those timeless cuts, got short sleeves, hits right above the knee. I can dress it up, I can dress it down, and it’s stretchy. 🙂
- What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Mostly, I would like to forgive myself more. I tend to beat myself up mentally for the things I do wrong, and I don’t want to do that so much, so I’d like to forgive myself more.I’d also like to exercise more, but I don’t know if that will necessarily translate into doing another half-marathon, but I’d like to sweat more. I’d also like to see my friends more, and develop my friendships more. And I’d like to do more new things.
Your turn. 🙂 Just copy and paste the following questions into a comment with your answers. I look forward to reading ’em!
1. I hate to shop for…
2. I love to shop for…
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
It’s the last Monday of 2014!
MONDAY!
I’m halfway through my second cup of coffee and really looking forward to my run this morning, because I did not exercise at all over the Christmas break.
Well, I did exercise my mouth… 🙂 And my tum. By repeatedly shoving lots of sugary things and carby things into them.
How was your weekend? Did you spend it with family or friends? Was it busy? Relaxing?
What about New Year’s? Per usual, I don’t have any plans yet. El Hub and I usually just go out to dinner, then come home and sit around, maybe watch the ball drop at midnight. I keep telling myself to try something new this time, so maybe we will. Who knows?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

1. I hate to shop for…excercise clothes. I don’t fit into any of the cutesie stuff and look seriously horrid in the rest, but have to wear *something*.
2. I love to shop for…shoes, bags, makeup, skincare, books, toys.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do? Blot oil, lightly powder, remove panda eyes, bit of extra concealer, replace disappeared blush, reapply lipstick. Replace disappeared eyeshadow with a one-swipe caviar stick or illusion d’ ombres.

5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015? Exercise more than I already do, visit a country that is new to me, make more effort to maintain friendships.
Alison M says
1. I hate to shop for… I’m with you on home stuff. It took me 14 months to choose a paint color for our home office. I’m just so non-committal. I want the *exact* right color/pillows/flooring so I’ll still love it in 6 months. Also clothes. Nothing ever fits because I’m quite small on top and refuse to shop in the teen department.
2. I love to shop for…makeup. Duh. And shoes.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do? Powder, blush, lips. Everything else stays put through the day.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time? I have a pair of light blue dress pants that I’ve owned for….. (counting back)…..12 years. I always get compliments on them which is funny because they are such an unusual color for pants and aren’t particularly trendy. They are just pants.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015? My biggest goal is to be more intentional. Have a better plan so when I work on something I am more organized, efficient, and create a better product. It goes for work, home, my kids, blog, relationships, everything.
I want to do more date nights with my husband. We used to go out once a month but haven’t done that in far too long. A happy marriage makes a happy family so we are planning to spend more time together sans kiddos.
I’m also hoping to vacation more starting in 2015. We rarely ever take time away from home but a weekend here and there to explore Florida or somewhere else in reasonable driving distance would be really nice.
Erin says
1. I hate to shop for…
Jeans, Bathing suits, and Wedding dresses.
2. I love to shop for…
Food, wine, and home interiors. Makeup and skincare of course. Sweaters, it’s an unhealthy obsession.

Change lipstick, swipe on some powder foundation if needed, and maybe add more eye liner.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
I have a few blouses from anthro that survived the move that are 8 years old or so. Some sweaters too but I only wear those around the house. Up until a few years ago I had some robust tank tops from high school that still fit and I wore them regularly. OH and a pair of 10 year old PJ pants I need to throw out!
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
This is a long list! I’m going to put trying new things in life and being more committed to my health at the top and leave it at that!
Agata says

5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Workout more for sure and lose more weight.
Happy Monday, finally my day off. I just came back from the gym and I am sipping on my second cup of coffee 🙂

5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015? Exercise, I want my 2009 body back, to spend more one on one time with my only teen son, and I want to completely reorganize my entire house. Oh boy!! Wish me luck… one room at a time, I’ll start with my teen’s room. Quality time, right!!?

5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015? Exercise, travel, and learn to take my coffee black! 🙂

1. I hate to shop for groceries. A decade of doing it just for me and then decades for my family have not changed my dislike of the monotony one bit. I do like to cook though. Can’t do one without the other.
2. I love to shop for makeup, shoes, outerwear, hats, purses, fabric.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do? Check to see if the eyeliner on the bottom lash line has migrated. If so, pull out my trusty Q-tip from inside purse-zippered pouch and fix it. Re-apply lipstick (yes, the shade that does not require lip liner).
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time? A black jumper from nordics juniors dept circa 2006. I just wore it yesterday to the mall. Black tights, striped top, flats. Forgot the beret! It is made of 100% cotton in a stable heavy knit and will not wear out!
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015? A bit more spontaneity, a little less routine. But then the spontaneity will become routine!
New Year’s still feels too far away is still too far away but I am thinking of the grocery list! I was given a huge poinsettia plate one Christmas and each New Year’s Day I get to fill it up with goodies. This year might be veggies, dip, nuts, cheese, crackers, shrimp.
I’ve been there in Times Square freezing my rear off, watching that ball drop. You are not missing anything, except warmth and sleep!
My tradition has become to ring in the New Year with warmth and sleep!
Best wishes to Casa M&BB for lots of fun, fondness to fur baby, and to self, and grabbing a fresh take on every morning!

Shannon says
1. I hate to shop for…
Jeans. It seems like I can never find anything that fits me quite right, unless I’m shopping at American Eagle. Fingers crossed I’ll have the patience to find another brand I can buy from before I’m in like, my late 40s and still shopping in a teenagers’ store.
2. I love to shop for…
Paper products! Notecards, stationary, journals… I love that stuff 🙂 I love shopping for clothes and shoes when I’m in the mood, but it’s hellish when I’m not feelin it. So I really have to take advantage of my “shopping” moods!
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
Check/straighten up my lips & brows, maybe pop a bit more blush on, and use a blotting paper if I need it.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
Probably a t-shirt dress my grandma gave me back around when I was 21. So that’s… gosh, about 6 years ago now! It’s so basic and easy.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Um, EVERYTHING. 🙂 I’d like to travel a little more, which I think will happen anyways with all the weddings and family trips we’re already planning on making. Other than that, I’d love to get on a regular exercise regimen. I’ve exercised more in 2014 than I have for a long while, but I’ve been pretty on-and-off for the last few months. I love how I feel when I’m in shape, so hopefully I can get back on the wagon and keep riding it a ways in 2015! 🙂
Got back from our vacation this weekend! My hubby and I both remarked on how relaxing it had been – it was a very very chill holiday, which was super nice. We’re both back at work, but things are still pretty low-key, which is also nice. For NYE, we’re gonna hang with some friends at their pad and ring in the New Year in style! Totes looking forward to that, and to sleeping in the next day 🙂 lol.

Hey Karen!
How are you? I just wanted to stop by and actually say something for a change. I read your blog religiously, and besides loving cats (I have 5) and make up (the one thing that excites me in the mall), I love reading it because I recognize a lot.. we’re actually pretty similar LOL. So here goes:
I hate to shop for…
Clothes. I pretty much enjoy anything that isn’t related to size and fit.
You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
Eyeliner, mascara, my eyebrows and in the winter bronzer or blush, in the summer a fun, bright lip.
What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
A pair of knee high fuzzy socks – they are a cold weather staple. Maybe they’re a little weathered and not as fluffy as they used to be.. but I love them!
What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Step back and relax a bit more. We own our own business and our work blends into our personal life (what personal life? lol) so I would like to try and stress a little less and take some more time for ourselves. Also: I want to try and reach out to friends and take more time for them and family, and I intend to give out more compliments: if somebody does a nice job I will let them know. So on that note: I enjoy reading your blog, thank you for all the time you spend on it and keep the fun going 🙂

1. I hate to shop for… Jeans. It’s just so hard to find a good fit for my curves. I guess I also hate shopping for swimsuits, but I don’t need to do this nearly as often as jeans.
2. I love to shop for… perfume! The fragrance department can conjure memories and take you all around the world. Happy New Year Karen!!
I’m back to work after having all last week off (which was lovely). We’re taking it easy this year and just heading to our cottage in Maine for a quiet night in. We’ll also visit with our neighbors. It’s during the week so our local friends are not really hosting parties etc. Hope you and your husband have a nice dinner out and enjoy the quiet night in if that’s what you do.
And now, for the poll:
1. I hate to shop for… groceries after work if it’s raining or bad weather. So tough! But then the workers in the store are nice (here’s looking at you Trader Joe’s) and it’s not so bad once I get going!
2. I love to shop for… gifts for people! I do all of our holiday shopping and I start early (November). I do most of it online and most supports small businesses! 🙂
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do? Powder and lipstick (while looking in the compact mirror of course).
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time? I would say a JCrew sweater from the late 1990s!
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015? I’m doing a yoga retreat with a friend and a girl’s trip to NC as well. Hubby and I tend to do a few separate friend trips (as well as together trips) each year. I’d like to be more active leading up to both of my girl trips since there will be a lot of hiking involved (and yoga for the yoga one).

Wow, the last Monday of 2014… hard to believe.
1. I hate to shop for…
Home stuff too. Paralyzed with indecision is DEFINITELY how I would describe it. So my place is not all that exciting.
2. I love to shop for…
Nail polish! It’s the one thing that I will never tire of and always check out the selection when I’m in a drug store, seems like. Makeup and clothes I have to be in the right mood for.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?.
I think I need lessons in freshening up makeup, ’cause I have no clue. Reapply my lipstick is all I know.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
Hm, I actually have a lot of older things in my closet, because I hate clothes shopping. I still very regularly wear clothing I got in Europe in 2009. Oh, maybe that dress I bought in high school, maybe in 2005? It’s really hard to believe it still fits me, but it’s covered in flowers and just makes me really happy.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Meditate and be gentle with myself! I need to stop putting pressure on myself to do EVERYTHING, ALL THE TIME! I gotta also take care of ME.
Stephanie says
Oh, or maybe the oldest thing in my closet would be one of the hand-me-downs from my mom from the 80s. I have a cotton black sweater with floral trim that just makes me feel cosy and good and my mom HATES seeing me wear it because she wishes I would wear something new. 🙂

5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Exercise. Relax. Spend time with my hubby. Travel.
Kate & Zena says
1. I hate to shop for…
MY BROTHER! He’s so picky and he has no shame in saying he hates something. He’ll make you feel horrible if you buy something he hates!
2. I love to shop for…
Anyone else in my family. They are so easy and fun!
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
I freshen my makeup? Well, if I did, I’d reapply my powder under the undereye area, reline lip liner and lip gloss (although I tend to reapply lip gloss unconsciously) and maybe redefine my eyeliner.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
A light blue silk camisole I tend to wear all through the winter because it’s warm. I wear it in summer too because it keeps me cool. It has lace trim and it has a beautiful sparse pattern all over.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
I’d like to get more into charity work. My grandma used to do so much charity work and I’d like to continue that now that she is in Heaven. We have always been a big charity family.
I’d like to do more photography too.
Christine says
Happy New Year, Karen!
I’m so excited for this week as work is grinding to a massive slow down (Christmas is the busiest time of year for me, on top of celebrations).
1. I hate to shop for…
Jeans. I’m 5’11”, hour-glass shaped, and trying to find something that is long enough, fits my butt and thighs, and doesn’t have a ton of fabric in the front (I will never understand how the fabric grows exponentially around the zipper if you size up) is a pain in the butt. My tried-and-true are AE skinnies and if they ever stop selling them I will probably have a breakdown.
2. I love to shop for…
Make-up! Shoes! Scarves! Yarn!
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
Pat on a bit more of my Benefit Big Easy if I’m shiny, do a lil’ swipe-swipe with my blush brush, another coat of mascara, and fix any shadow that may have drifted into creases.
And then toss on another coat of my favorite lipstick (currently Makeup For Ever Rouge Artist in N9).
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
Probably my purple hoodie. I noticed a small hole in the sleeve the other week. :\
I also have a beautiful jewel-purple CK dress (pleats, ruching, boat-neck) that fits fabulously and is my go-to if I need to get really dressed up.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
I want to do more things for myself. I’ve been focusing so much on work (I don’t make a lot — I can pay the bills, thankfully) but I need to carve out some time for myself. My cousin and I have a pact to take an adult tap dance class.
I also need to start eating better — I’ve been not 100% and I know it’s food-related.
And yoga. I need to rework my schedule to get it back in.

1. I hate to shop for…JEANS. You gotta take off your pants and shoes every time, and you just know you’re going to have to get re-dressed 14 times to go back into the store to find the winning pair!
2. I love to shop for…MAKEUP ONLINE! IN JAMMIES!
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do? Powder my t-zone, re-curl my lashes, pop on a touch more blush, and refresh my lipstick.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time? Yoga pants! They seriously last forever!
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015? Things I enjoy like reading, writing (though not ‘rithmatic!), spending more time with people who make me laugh, and WORKING OUT. Need to get back into a respectable fitness routine because I know I can’t wear leggings forever!
Happy last Monday of 2014, love! <3

1. After reading everyone else’s comments, I realize there are a lot of things I hate shopping for. Shoes, because they’re either too loose and I get a blister from them moving around on my foot or too tight and I get a blister from them rubbing from that. Bras, because they don’t seem to make seam free, foam free cup anymore. Dress pants, because no matter what, even if I buy petite sizes, I still have to have them hemmed.
2. I love to shop for make up. All the pretty colors!
3. Check to make sure my mascara isn’t giving me raccoon eyes, as most of them do. And touching up my lipstick.
4. I have some light weight fleecy workout tops from before I was married 24 years ago. The company that made them, Hind, is no longer in business, but I still run and ride in those tops. They’re the perfect weight to keep me warm while riding on a 50-55 degree morning, without overheating after I get going. I’m gonna be sad when they fall apart.
5. I’d like to get my house more organized. I have notoriously poor organization skills. And I like to start riding more again. Now that my last horse is retired from work, I promised that I wouldn’t buy another one, but I think I’ve got the DH on board for doing a short term lease.
Wishing you a very healthy and happy new year.

1. I hate to shop for…
Furniture. It’s so darn expensive and it’ll never look the same in my house as it does in the show room.
2. I love to shop for… tops. I can usually buy any size medium top and it’ll fit – no trying on in the store.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
It’s mostly wiping down all the smudgies, then blotting paper over my face, then some face powder.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
Maybe a pair of 5 yr old pants that were expensive, because you know – I’ll be able to fit into those one day 😛
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Work less.
Blog more.
Eat better.
Discover new ways to exercise.
Monica.

1. I hate to shop for…shoes. I wear size 5 and it’s impossible to fond them in stores. I usually have to order online which I hate.
2. I love to shop for… makeup and purses are my faves!
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
Powder and lips! I’m extremely oily and have to powder every few hours. My eye makeup always stays put but lips need to be touched up.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
A pair of size 5 booties that I’ve been trying to replace for 5 years but can’t find anything I like as much in my size.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Exercise more, get up half an hour earlier (I’m ALWAYS scrambling to get out the door for work), cut DOWN on my Makeup addiction (Sephora Rouge 3 times over in 2014 YIKES!)

1. I hate to shop for…Nothing comes to mind–I love to shop! LOL
2. I love to shop for…Makeup, clothes, books, you name it, I enjoy shopping for it. 🙂
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
I use one of those oil blotters to blot my forehead and apply powder (I get shiny pretty quickly) and freshen up my lipstick by re-applying if needed. That’s pretty much it…maybe apply just a tad bit more eyeliner if it’s faded some.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
Can’t think of anything…my oldest clothes tend to be from a few years ago, but I don’t really reach for them anymore.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Develop my friendships more, date more (huh), maintain my exercise/dance regimen, spend less money on makeup and try to buy less (good luck), save more (I sound like such a grown-up, lol), travel.

1. I hate to shop for nothing. But if I follow your logic I’d say bags because I keep them for kind of a long time and they need to be absolutely perfect and not cost too much. I tend to go through all shops twice and never really decide.
2. I love to shop for make up and intemporal outfits.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
I add a little concealer under my eyes to brighten my eye and look more cleaned up. It makes the mascara stains disappear. I’d add a little bit of mascara if needed and then repowder to look less shiny.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
I would say all my Pimkie basic tops, the other things I don’t really wear anymore, only at house.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Stay with my friends more and get more meaningful friendships, eat healthier and exercice more, do more of what I love (blogging) and get more creative.

1. I hate to shop for… I’m with you on home decor. Practical stuff, no problem, but it can definitely be hard to make choices when you’re out and about. That’s why I love Pinterest to help me narrow down the styles and colors I’m most drawn to.
2. I love to shop for… Pretty much anything! I’ve been through some really lean times so I’m always grateful when I have the budget to shop.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do? Oil blotter, swipe of blush, touch up concealer as needed and a swipe of lipstick.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time? Good question! I have a great vintage Coach crossbody from my aunt that I’ve used for years. And a classic black peacoat from Banana.

Haven’t filled one of these out in ages because of work! Hope all is well, Karen.
1. I hate to shop for… clothes I need for an event, whether it’s professional or social. I can never find exactly what I want.
2. I love to shop for… makeup, purses, motorcycle gear. Pretty much anything I will use a lot or that has multiple uses.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
~I would probably fix any eyeliner that went wayward, along with shadow, and zit concealer. Would also do face powder again as that tends to wear off.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
~I have a lot of old clothing…it tells you how classic my pieces are and how little I actually go clothes shopping. My oldest thing is a t-shirt that my grandparents (long deceased, since I was a kid, but I loved them dearly) got me when they went to Jekyll Island, Georgia. I was 9 when they gave it to me – it has a blue-black horse on it and it says “Kentucky Blue.” Sadly the shirt actually still fits me! I refuse to part with it because it’s one of the few things I have from my grandparents. I wear it with jeans and moto jacket on occasion.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
~I also want to stop beating myself up mentally. It doesn’t help and it’s something I’ve gotten better with, but I need to go with the flow for things with myself a lot more. My other goal is to keep up the exercise and fitness that I have worked so hard for. I just hit a max bench of 125lbs – my highest yet, and my actual bodyweight – and I need to keep going. I tend to fall off the exercise wagon for a couple of weeks when things get busy and I lose some of my gains.

1. I hate to shop for … well, I don’t actual hate it, but it’s just not so easy to shop for special trousers. It’s not so easy to find some, which fit perfectly.
2. I love to shop for… Make-up! Decorations! Handbags! You don’t have to try them on in the changing cubicle, so no waiting necessary.
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
I have a small golden purse in my bag, my quick fresh-up goes:
Putting on a little powder, where redness appears (chin and cheeks), then a little blush (Hourglass Ambient Lightning Blush – I love it!!) with my small travel blush brush by MAC, and then lipstick/lipliner.
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
It’s a black-white plaid flannel shirt from the 90s, I wore it with 12 or 13 years, it was the grunge area. 🙂
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
Sport 🙂 Karen, you really impressed and motivated me with your half marathon! 🙂

1. I hate to shop for…
Clothes. I’m six feet tall and have a severe hourglass figure, NOTHING FITS.
2. I love to shop for…
Makeup and fabric (I’m a quilter). Altho to be fair I think I like to shop for these things more than I like to use them, which is an issue I need to address!
3. You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do?
Blot and fix the lipstick, with spare time to grab a cup of coffee!
4. What’s the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time?
I discovered a “dress” by a brand called Cut Loose, which is an SFO-based company that does free-fitting women’s casual clothing. The length fits me like a tunic shirt and the free fit thing means it doesn’t cling to my overstuffed boobs too much for the office, I love it and now own a dozen in lots of colors.
5. What are some things you’d like to do more of in 2015?
As cheesy as it sounds, diet and exercise, ever since my stroke I have been overweight and that’s slowly creeping up. Then I had to have a couple surgeries and I was benched from lifting for months and needed to eat to get my strength back. I’m pretty much over hating my body, but I do want to get back down to a healthy place.
Karen, thank you so much for this blog. Your tireless work and dedication show thru in the quality of the posts and upbeat spirit you bring day after day. Sometimes I imagine beauty blogging and I know I would get sick to death of it after a couple weeks, and you’ve been doing this for years! Even my husband who has no interest in these things knows who I am talking about when I go on about the “makeup blogger with the cute fat cat”. Thanks for all the hard work!
