G’morning, cuties! 🙂 Can you believe we actually made it through September? I dunno about you, but I was definitely feeling the Mercury in retrograde madness!
Despite the planetary challenges, it was a pretty good month for makeup and beauty. Obvs, there was the excitement of New York Fashion Week, but there were also lots of fabulous releases (MAC ATTACK!), too.

Isn’t it a little crazy that you and I are traveling into yet another holiday season? It seems like just yesterday we were chatting about summer launches and heat waves.
Even though I’m not looking forward to the cold weather (I actually had to bundle up with an extra sweater this morning, brr), at least there will be a ton of hot holiday makeup to keep us toasty.

Here’s to making it through September together, *raises coffee cup*. 🙂

It’s crazy how fast time flies! The good thing is I can play with more makeup for fall…I try to keep it minimal during the summer so now is the time to experiment…plus I love the trends for this fall!

Vancouver was scorching hot this July and August and September was unseasonably warm until yesterday. I was in no less then 3 layers last night. Today is chilly too! Time to bundle up and bring out those UGG boots again. September is definitely and excited, hectic and overwhelming month of makeup for beauty junkies! And I am talking to you MAC!

It’s insane! I still can’t believe it’s nearly two years now that I’m reading your blog. Isn’t that awesome/weird/amazing/fun?

With homecoming fast approaching I need hair and makeup ideas now for TWO of us 🙂 Do you have any suggestions?
Kate & Zena says
Ugh, don’t remind me that October is tomorrow. I’m positively FREEZING!!!! It’s flippin’ 52 degrees, exactly 3 degrees cooler than Vancouver. The worst part was Zena demanded to be walked today and I went up to the elementary school near my house, intending to walk around the school, when a horde of 20 children surrounded both Zena and me to pet Zena. The school has like a daycare operation after school or something of the sort. I was completely outnumbered by kids. I was so cold. Zena Charm Attacks Again. Zena was soaking up the love, I tell you. She was in Heaven.
Oh, I forgot to tell you, I think Zena has a boyfriend. She’s particularly fond of an oversized red and white Beagle named Max. I’m telling you, this beagle is huge. He’s two inches taller than Zena! It’s rather cute watching Zena interact with him. Granted, she could only like him because he’s as fixed as she is and rather un-alpha like but it’s so cute.
I think I need to dig out the electric blanket tonight. I’m sick of being cold at night.

I can’t believe this year is flying by. I’m ready for the cold though. I am fan of the fall season.
