You might be wondering, “So what in tarnation is this Monday Poll thing anyway!?”
Well, it isn’t exactly a poll. It’s more of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I’ve been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past seven years. (It’s like a kickstart for your brain.) I’ve always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine.
- Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
To protect the innocent, I’m going to NOT say names, but at my last job…Even just thinking about it makes my skin crawl!
My coworker — I think this was before I met El Hub — he walked up to my cube one day and kind of posted there, like he was gonna talk to me as usual, so he starts talking to me, and over the course of the conversation, he begins to unbutton his shirt to show off his manly chest. And his gold chains.
It was so wrong! And I remember thinking, oh god, just avert your eyes! Just avert your eyes and try to change the subject! Turn toward your computer!!
So I just started typing nonsense really fast on my computer. I opened my Outlook and just started typing, “asdf;lkjasdf;lkjasdf,” and eventually he got the hint and went away.
Ugh! I can’t even think about it without feeling grossed out.
- What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
Oh! Well, I was really into a lot of the popular series at the time. Sweet Valley High was one of my favorites. I also loved V.C. Andrews. Oh, my gosh. Flowers in The Attic and all of the other V.C. Andrews series.I read a lot of poppy, pulpy stuff in high school.
Well, for my outside school reading time.
- Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Smudgy, because it’s more casual and easier to do, and I love that it looks a little messy…’cause I’m kinda messy too. - What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
If I’m writing, I like to have it quiet, because for some reason that part of my brain doesn’t work when there are any distractions, but if I’m working on pictures or other things, then there’s this iTunes Radio station I recently found called Electronic Chill that’s very soothing and peppy at the same time. - When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
I know that I don’t wear bright yellow well.I tried last weekend. I went to Nordstrom to return some things, and I tried on this bright yellow sweatshirt because it was super soft, but I looked absolutely terrible in it.
I looked like I hadn’t seen the sun in six months.
But I do like the way I look in jewel tones and purples and emerald and deep, rich teals. And also certain pastels, like light pink, light blue and mint green.
Ironically, however, my entire wardrobe is gray right now…
Your turn. 🙂 Just copy and paste the following questions into a comment with your answers. I look forward to reading ’em!
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Hello from sunny and rather cold and windy Northern California! Did you watch the Oscars last night?
Tabs was a nervous wreck, so I had to get out of the house. You’re going to laugh, but I ended up going to see Fifty Shades of Grey.
But it was fun! My friend snuck in a couple tiny bottles of Prosecco (shh), so we were having wine and eating popcorn while watching the movie.
And the girls I was with are girls from the salon, so they’re very rambunctious. Every single time Christian Grey would, like, get naked, somebody would go, “Meow!” or “RRRAARRW!” 🙂 It was fun.
I hope you’re having a very nice morning so far. My tea is beginning to kick in, so I’m gettin’ fired up.
Have a wonderful rest of your day and a great week. Talk to you soon.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work? Omg… i once managed to forget to lock the door to the toilet at work and a male collegue opened the door on me… awkward deluxe…
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager? I loved mystery novels
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner? Smudgy, since I have yet to master the crisp line…
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)? I like quite or at most a general chatter – not really im to music while working
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well? Jewel colours look good on me – pastels make me look sick and brights make me look really pale. Jewel colours make me pale in a flattering way – not like I am dying or have been locked up in a dungeon for the past 5 years. But mostly i wear a lot of black and quite a bit of grey as well.
My monday is now over and I am curled up on the couch under 2 blankets listening to the sleet ‘storm’ outside (not really a storm but from my perspective it might as well be – am so over winter)
Debra says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work? I do not recall any on the scale of awkward. Annoying or outraged but that guy needed a knee to the hairy chest or maybe a few inches lower! How about grabing a gold chain or two?!
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager? Hmmm. Not much reading for fun. Gone With the Wind one summer. D.H. Lawrence novels another summer (he had a mother-problem).
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner? Smudgy because sharp always ends up smudged so why not just go there to begin with and say it was my idea?
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)? Need almost absolute quiet when I work. Which means I block out a lot of noise automatically. Someone has been knocking on the door and I haven’t heard it!
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well? Jewel tones, all shades of blue, blue-red, white, neutrals (includes black). Cannot do much pink unless it is bright or dark.

1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
When I was 22, right out school working for a large investment firm I accidentally crashed the server by opening an email that contained a virus. Mind you this was 1998 and I don’t think there were as many safe guards in place as there is now. I remember being in the elevator with the IT guys and hearing them talking about it. I never admitted it was me because I was so embarrassed.
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
With you on the VC Andrews and Sweet Valley High books. I was more into magazines in throughout high school. Sassy was my life. Remember that one? I had a subscription and everything. Even had my mom’s seamstress copy a dress out of one of the them for my junior prom.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
I’m really not an eyeliner kinda gal. I much prefer using shadow to darken up my lash line.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
Nothing specific but mostly top 40 in the background.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Definitely not pastels. Dark, jeweled tones compliment me but most of my wardrobe consists of black, white, gray and tan. Pretty boring.
Ruchita says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
I was on a conference call and forgot to go on mute. Luckily, I didn’t say anything too embarrassing but I felt bad for inadvertently interrupting the call!
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
I loved Sweet Valley High and Nancy Drew. I always waited in anticipation for the next one in the series to come out. I wish I still had some of those books so I could see how they held up over the years. I was also a V.C. Andrews and Babysitter’s Club fan.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Definitely smudgy. Much easier to do when I’m in a rush getting ready in the morning.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
Usually nothing. If I’m working from home, I’ll listed to music or talk shows on satellite radio.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
I think I’m good at pulling off jewel tones like red, blue and purple. I do have a lot of black, so I try to balance it out with bright colors and patterns.
Prosecco and popcorn seems like the perfect way to watch Fifty Shades of Grey. Not sure if I’ll see it in the theater though. Might be a rental for me. Happy Monday! 🙂

1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
hmm… I’ve had a couple really awkward moments. There was this one time I farted at one of my first jobs, and it was really bad. The people around me were like “oh gawd what is that smell??” and I tried to stay out of it, feigning innocence, but they KEPT TALKING ABOUT IT – like 10 minutes of talking about this horrible fart, which I ended up having to vehemently deny ownership of, even though it was obviously me. I admitted that one on like, my last day of work there.
And uh… I’ll just leave it there.
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
Hmmm… Harry Potter was a favorite, for sure. I also really loved the Betsy-Tacy series, which I was more into in grade school, but re-read it a lot as I grew up. Love.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Smudgy, I think. It’s more forgiving. 🙂
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
If I’m doing creative work, I can’t listen to music – but if I’m doing busy work, I really like listening to video game music – I’ll just google “XYZ Game soundtrack” and start listening. Any of the Zelda soundtracks, super meat boy, flower… they’re pretty awesome, and great for getting things done.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Uh, black? 🙂 haha. warm-toned colors, like warm peaches and corals are pretty nice. Browns and greys. I love jewel-toned blues and burgundies, too, for fall. All the colors! Haha. but tending toward the warmer side of things, for sure.
Estefania says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
I think it had to be when I was working at MAC and I was doing an ombre lip demo on a girl. I was explaining to her what the look would end up like and what products she would need and she just cuts me off with, “I just want them to look HUGE like, porn star lips. Like, make me look like a Hispanic.” I swear my brush hand started twitching and I could not get her out of that chair quick enough. It was more infuriating than awkward, but still.
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
HARRY POTTER. Definitely Harry Potter. Those books were my life from when I was about nine to right this second. I also started getting into classic British literature. I’m a huge, huge, HUGE fan of T.S. Elliot.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Sharp. I get my kicks with super fine and sharp liner paired up with bright lipstick.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
I love to listen to the soundtracks to musicals while I work. Our offices are all a little spaced out, so I can sing a little without disturbing anyone.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
I, like any other breathing human being, look amazing in black. I also like wearing pink and green 🙂 They go well with my skin.

1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
Does grad school count as work? Another grad student and I were in charge of setting up a campus visit for a professor from another university, and we somehow made all the arrangements (hotel, dinner, etc) for the day after he had agreed to come. My advisor realized our mistake just in time and sent us a frantic all-caps email. We managed to fix everything, but my advisor was freaking out since the other professor was a close friend of his. What a mess. I still cringe when I think about that…
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
I loved Tamora Pierce’s fantasy novels! I also read nerdy stuff like Boswell’s Life of Samuel Johnson.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Smudgy. I have extra folds in my eyelids, so it’s hard for me to execute a sharp winged-out line.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
If I’m working at home or in the library, nothing; if I’m in a public place like a coffee shop, I love listening to Grimes on repeat. I’m listening to her right now, in fact. 🙂
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
My best neutrals are cool-toned gray, black, and navy, and my best colors are emerald, burgundy, plum, and certain shades of mustard that have a bit of green in them.

1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
Oh, there have been so, so many. I don’t even know where to begin. Haha
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
Hmm… don’t remember.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Diffused.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
Silence is best, but a little of something punchy if I’m feeling dreary.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Blue and blush tones.
Erin says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
That’s a tie. One involved Pro Tennis Player and generally great human being, Roger Federer. I won’t go into details. Other than to say my butt on a national morning show and his personal tour had signed… It was kind of a monumental embarrassment for both of us.
The other is catching your boss shtupping your married co-worker.
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
Hmmm, I enjoyed the classics from my childhood again, like LOTR, The Chronicles of Narnia, and others. I also read a lot of Ray Bradbury, Neal Stephenson, Anne Rice, and anything sci-fi.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Smudgy because crisp wings is a talent I haven’t mastered yet!
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
Alternative on iTunes radio or some preset stations suitable for work jams. Occasionally throwback tunes from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Also, sometimes only classic rock will do until you hear something from the 90’s and feel old as hell.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Anything black or grey, all jewel tones, pink of any sort. I don’t look too bad in white which is a shock since I’m so pale but it makes me look tan. I also like super saturated brights like blues, purples, and reds.
Fancie says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
I accidentally walked into the men’s room once lol. I was rushing and wasn’t paying attention. There was someone in there but luckily they were at the sink lol
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
I loved urban fiction novels like Fly Girl and The Coldest Winter Ever
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Sharp I guess. I love doing both together though
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
I love music with chill vibes like Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Definitely earth tones
Christine says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
Probably the time my back locked up when I was working at the news station and I couldn’t move my legs. It had happened twice before, but never in public…so at least I knew what was going on, and so did my boyfriend, but it was still embarrassing.
My boyfriend had to come to pick me up, one of the morning anchors ran down to the security desk and found a wheel chair…BF had to lift me from my wheely desk chair and into the wheel chair, I was trying not to cry from how much pain I was in, my coworkers all looked terrified, and security had to be convinced that I didn’t need an ambulance.
I’m just glad that security HAD a wheelchair because otherwise we would have wheeled me to the elevator and out the front door in my desk chair. More awkward (and funnier, in hindsight).
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
Harry Potter! I’m the generation that grew up with Harry…it was always magical to get the book and wolf it down in one night. 🙂
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Smudgy for everyday, but I like a nice, sharp cat eye when I’m dressing up.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
My cats purring!
But really, if anything, it’s a toss up between alt/pop music and Gilmore Girls. It depends on how much I need to be concentrating on.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Saturated and jewel tones. I don’t do white or pale pinks very well.
Ricci says

1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work? I used to work, I’m a stay at home Mom now, but in used to work Property Management. One of the exterminators we used came in and kind of tried to feel me up. I was uncomfortable as heck! I told my boss and he was canned, it was awful!
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager? R.L. Stine, Christopher Pike, young adult horror-lite books. Loved them!
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner? Smudgy, all day every day!
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)? I don’t work outside the home, when I need to get things done I like 70’s rock!
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well? Whenever I wear pink, my Grandma tells me how good I look in it. So I always wear pink around her.
Jill in TX says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work? Hard to pick just one, awkwardness seems to follow me. Prob when I was 18 or 19’and a male coworker forgot to lock the door when he went to the bathroom. I walked in as he was standing there. Instead of being embarrassed and leaving, I just stood there and started talking to him, like a regular conversation. He asked if we could continue when he was done.
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager? Judy Blume was a fav author, also liked the Sweet Valley High series, and tons of magazines, Tiger Beat, Teen, etc.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner? Either or, depends on my mood and the time I have.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)? When I worked in an office, I would put ear buds in and jam along to my iPod, sometimes singing out loud ( which goes back to Q1, lol)
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well? Well we can only wear black to work, so black, lol. Other than that, I think bright colors look best on me.

Rachel R. says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
I was pregnant with my second kid. My older son was almost 2 years old. In the lunchroom, a male coworker made a remark about how tough it must be to be unmarried and pregnant again so young. Except I was 27 and had been married for 6 years. When I said this, everyone was like, “You’re 27?!” Apparently the consensus was that I was about 18 or 19. I wore my wedding ring except the last 6 weeks I was pregnant, and my husband came into the store several times, but most of my coworkers thought I was an unmarried teen mom. I was like, wow…am I really not that memorable?
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
Almost everything. I was never into romances or typical teens books, though.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner? Sharp
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)? Nothing
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Fortunately, I wear most colors well. Brights are especially good on me though, and even more especially red, fuchsia and teal. Black looks great on me. I don’t find beige flattering, nor mustard yellow, nor ivory.
Karen says
Hi Rachel,
Thank you for filling out the poll! I think that’s super cool that you would read almost anything and everything when you were a teenager. What are a few of your favorite books these days?
I just picked up House of Sand and Fog!
Rachel R. says
Things have been stressful with my older son (he turned 20 today, OMG! lol), so I’ve been going for easy reads. The last few have been Stephen King’s “Mr. Mercedes,” Neil Gaiman’s “Neverwhere,” Hubert Selby Jr.’s “The Demon: A Novel,” Kealan Patrick Burke’s Timmy Quinn series, and some miscellaneous horror and sci fi short story anthologies.
So nothing terribly new, unfortunately. I need more time to peruse the library and bookstores. When things are more stable at home again, I will.
I haven’t read “House of Sand and Fog,” or seen the movie. Is it good so far?
Karen says
Hi Rachel,
I hope that things with your oldest settle down soon. Gotta love those easy reads for the escape! I haven’t started House of Sand and Fog yet because lately I’ve been too tired to read before bed. I know, I know. I should carve out a little time in the afternoon. I watched the movie years ago but can’t really recall what happened, but I do remember liking the character development. So I’m looking forward to that!
If I find anything else easy/fun to read I’ll definitely let you know. 🙂
Rachel R. says
Thanks! Enjoy the book, and don’t work too hard. 😉
Katherine M says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
~There’s a few, working in the healthcare and public safety fields. One time I was bending down to start an IV and didn’t realize that my scrub pants had ridden down…thus, I was apparently half mooning my coworkers on night shift. They kept walking past the room making jokes about the “buttcrack” of dawn. I also think that any time anyone is new in those fields it’s really awkward, because patients and the community can smell that you are new (whether it’s new at the job, new place of work, etc). It takes a “breaking in” period to get rid of the newness.
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
~I also LOVED Sweet Valley twins; The Saddle Club; Thoroughbred; Pine Hollow; and anything I could get my hands on that would get me lost in another world for a while.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
~When I was younger, I liked sharp eyeliner, now I love smudgy because I like easy and natural looks. Laura Mercier liners smudge so well (love Stormy Grey smudged), and the UD Black Palette smudges well for smudgy liner looks.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
~Currently nothing, because we don’t have music where I work and can’t listen to it. When I work out, I like upbeat dance-type music or hard rock.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
~I can actually rock bright yellow really well (it’s one of my fave colors), and heather grey is another fave that I love to dress up with colorful makeup or accessories. I can’t rock pale, pastel colors (they tend to make me look washed-out or sallow) – gotta stick with brights, jewel tones, or neutrals.
Karen says
Hi Katherine,
Ahh, Stormy Grey! My old love. So, I went to Sephora today and saw some new things by Laura. She has these lovely loose pigments! I’ll have pics and swatches up soon, but I thought I’d just share it with you since I know you like her stuff.
Lulle says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
The most awfully awkward moment I had was when my boss asked me to her office, with another person present, to reproach me doing stuff that she had asked me to do. And then I cried. I wanted to bang my head on the wall for crying, but it was so unfair I couldn’t take it. I quit that job a little later.
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
Crime stories in general, and I really loved Agatha Christie. I was trying to read all her crime novels – but I don’t think I did, there are a lot. I also read her biography, and she was quite a fascinating woman.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Sharp, I don’t really like smudgy liner unless I’m going for a smoky eye.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
Something light and rather soft. I’ve had Pandora on Jack Johnson radio for a while now.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Surprisingly, bright coral… It’s not a color I would EVER have worn before I moved to SoCal, but here it’s pretty standard. So I tried, and I started receiving compliments from a bunch of people, saying it makes my skin look so bright and healthy.
Karen says
Hi Lulle,
Coral is such a So Cal color! Do you ever wear it with teal? The two look great together.
When did you move down there? *waves hi from Nor Cal*
Lulle says
I’ve never tried it with teal, to be honest I had never thought of it! It does look good with deep blue jeans so it makes sense that teal would work too now that you mention it.
I moved to San Diego almost 3 years ago from France. The culture shock was rough :p
I really enjoy it now though. Especially the absence of winter – I don’t miss it!
Karen says
I love wearing coral and have a bunch of different combos I like: coral and teal, coral and hot pink (it sounds cray, but if you’re in the mood for something bright, it’s fun), coral and light gray… Oh! And coral and deep green. I tend to stay away from coral and black because sometimes that reads as Halloween.
Wow, to move to San Diego from France is a HUGE change. I have to ask – do you surf? I learned to surf in La Jolla!
Lulle says
I haven’t tried surfing yet, I would definitely need lessons with a patient instructor… But I do some boogie boarding when the water is warm enough, and I want to try stand up paddle boarding!
kristen @ glambunctious says
OMG! He unbuttoned his shirt to show off his chest and gold chains?!!?! That is HILARIOUS!!!!! Thank you for sharing that, I loved it!
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work? Walking into a male co-worker’s office, smelling the fact that he’d clearly just farted, his eyes looking guilty and horrified, and me getting the hell out of there before I died laughing.
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager? I was a huge reader as a child, but not much during teen times. We had to read The Outsiders for English one year and I ended up loving it and kind of falling back in love with reading as a result.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner? Somewhere in between? I like pencil liners and they’re not super neat, but they’re not super smudgy.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)? Sometimes I listen to the local radio station 97.9 The OG (all old-school hip hop -it’s AMAZEBALLS…think “What’s Love” by Fat Joe, “California Love” by Tupac, “Ghetto Sueprstar”, etc…); it puts me in such a good mood!
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well? Bright, clear colors like fuchsia, teal, cobalt blue, etc. I’m a spring, according to Color Me Beautiful. That $h!t is dead-on!
Have a great week, lovely!
Karen says
It was SO wrong. I’m still trying to un-see it in my mind, and it’s been over 10 years, LOL!
You have a great week too!
P.S. Now I have What’s Love stuck in my head. 🙂
kristen @ glambunctious says
“…got to do, got to do with it, babe – it’s about us, it’s about trust, babe” LOL! 😉
Karen says
I had that on my running list for MONTHS. I wonder what ever happened to Ashanti? #deepthoughts
kristen @ glambunctious says
HA! I was just wondering that recently! Apparently she was on an episode of Law & Order: SVU in 2013!
Kiss & Make-up says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work? Working with an ex. So it was like one really loooooong-stretched moment of awkwardness…
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager? I loved the ‘Kippenvel’ books! And kippenvel means goosebumps 🙂 It was a series of thrillers.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner? Smudgy. Sharp lines don’t suit me.
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)? I was just listening to a The Pretty Reckless playlist.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well? Black. Orange. And yellow.
Aeris says
1. Most awkward moment you’ve ever had at work?
Three weeks ago when my jeans was ripped and I didn’t immediatly realise it… And it was like a 10cm rip just on my butt!
2. What were your favorite books to read when you were a teenager?
I had strange tastes for a teenager as I like very long books like “The pillars of the Earth” by Ken Follet or “The Lord of the Rings”.
3. Just generally, which one would you rather wear: sharp or smudgy eyeliner?
Sharp. I’m slightly fussy with my makeup and I love when it’s really neat!
4. What do you listen to while you work (if you listen to anything)?
As I work in a training Center where people come for their training, we can’t put the radio on. If we did, as it’s a “public” place we would have to pay a tax.
5. When it comes to clothing, what colors do you wear well?
Teal, purple, burgundy, plum and black
