- You might be wondering, “So what the heck is this Monday Poll thing anyway?”
Well, it isn’t much of a poll. It’s more just a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I’ve been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past four years. I’ve always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine.
- Mood:
- Milk, dark or white chocolate?
- Peeta or Gale?
- Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song?
- Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky?
- The current state of your eyebrows?
- Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair?
- Strapless dresses: yea or nay?
- What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you?
- Weekly goals:
Just peachy.
How ’bout milk and dark, please? Milk when it comes to chocolate candies, and dark when it comes to brownies, cookies and cupcakes.
Mmm… cupcakes.
Team Peeta all the way, ever since the first book.
Three words: Forever Your Girl.
If you’d asked me in 1988, I would have said, “cute!” I used to think they were awesome back when Madge wore ’em. Now? Not so much.
Long overdue for a trim and a session with my Tweezerman tweezers.
Nope, but Tabs has.
Yea, but only if I’m wearing a gravity-defying bra.
That I can remember? Well, it wasn’t directed at me, but maybe the time I overheard a flight attended describing me to a coworker as “the young girl sitting in the aisle seat.”
I was 35 at the time (read: score!).
Just one: keep smiling. 🙂
Hey, hey, happy Monday!
Got a sec for the Monday Poll? I sure hope so.
- To complete the Monday Poll, just copy the following list, and paste it with your answers in the comments.
1. Mood:
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate?
3. Peeta or Gale?
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song?
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky?
6. The current state of your eyebrows?
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair?
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay?
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you?
10. Weekly goals:
Enjoy your week! I’ll try to do the same.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. The Walking Dead last night — what did you think? Can I suggest a couple of alternate titles for the episode? How about, “I would have killed for more zombies,” or, “The moral dilemmas are killing me quicker than this zombie bite”? 🙂
Casey says
1. Mood: Upbeat – looking forward to this week.
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? Dark chocolate all the way!
3. Peeta or Gale? Team Peeta…as if Gale even had a chance 😉
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? Opposites Attract. Loved that song so much.
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? Tacky
6. The current state of your eyebrows? In transition. I’m letting them grow out a little so the shape can be changed. This process is really trying my patience, but in the end it will be worth it. I’ve even learned a valuable lesson – do not over pluck your eyebrows!
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? I have not. I would love to try it out – is it too late? Is the fad already over?
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay? Yay!
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you? That I looked like a famous porn star. Nice, right? 😉
10. Weekly goals: As always, hit the gym. And to finally finish a book I started in January. I keep putting it down to pick up something else.
Karen says
Hi Casey,
I do that with books all the time. What are you trying to finish?
Casey says
I’m trying to finish “The Devil’s Knot” – it’s about the West Memphis 3 trial in Arkansas. It’s an interesting book, but it can get a little tedious.
Ruchita says
1. Mood:
Not bad for a Monday.
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate?
Milk and dark chocolate. Skinny Cow has some yummy new chocolate snacks – Dark Chocolate Dreamy Clusters and Milk Chocolate Heavenly Crisps. I’ve got a stash in my desk at work. 🙂
3. Peeta or Gale?
Team Peeta. I am SO excited about the movie. I always stop to watch the commercials on TV.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song?
This isn’t a rockin’ song, but Rush Rush was big when I was younger.
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky?
Tacky now, unless they’re for a costume party. They are definitely a throwback to the 80s!
6. The current state of your eyebrows?
Meh. 🙂 They could use a bit of a cleanup. I hate my eyebrows because they are so difficult to shape properly.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair?
Nope.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay?
Yea, but rarely. I prefer the support of a dress with straps.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you?
Way back in college, I was studying in the library and some random guy handed me a business card and said I should model for his fashion line. I was sitting down so he probably didn’t realize I’m only 5’0″!
10. Weekly goals:
Stick to my meal plan. Start cleaning the closet of doom in the office.
Walking Dead is on my DVR to watch tonight – something to look forward to when I get home. Happy Monday!
Karen says
Hi Ruchita,
LOL, I’m the same way when I see the commercials for the movie on TV. Do you read Entertainment Weekly? Right now they have the Hunger Games on the cover.
Anywho, you’ll have to let me know what you think of this week’s Walking Dead after you watch it tonight. Must discuss!
Ruchita says
Yep, I may have squealed with excitement when I saw the latest EW in my mailbox. 🙂
I thought it was a good article and I liked how they detailed some of the differences between the book and movie.
Karen says
I liked it too. I think EW generally has some great writing! I especially enjoy the reviews — so tight and punchy. 🙂
Twyla says
1. Mood: Kinda Okay for a Monday!
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? – Milk Chocolate all the way
3. Peeta or Gale? Neither?
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? Absolutely, still do when its on the radio!!
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? Lace =’s tacky, Wool =”s Cool
6. The current state of your eyebrows? Groomed rather nicely if I do say so
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? Yup, rockin’ it now – blonde hair & purple feathers!!

Karen says
Hi Twyla,
Good luck with your healthy eating goals this week! I’m right with you.
How was your trip to Jamaica, btw?
Twyla says
Jamaica was, as always, very beautiful & relaxing. I spent 4 days at my sisters house in Mobay (they rent it out when they aren’t there) and then went to a resort for 7 days of pampering!! Felt very ‘refreshed’ when I returned!! Have you ever been?
Karen says
That sounds amazing! I bet you came back feeling ready to tackle the world again. I need some serious de-stress time like that… so envious!
I’ve never been, but I’d love to go someday. I love tropical places and the beach so I have a feeling that Jamaica and I would get along quite nicely. 🙂 Did you got to any spas while you were there?
Nina says
1. Mood: not bad but i think im getting a cold.
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? milk and white. i know dark chocolate is good for me but it just leaves a sour aftertaste in my mouth after i eat it.
3. Peeta or Gale? Peeta. <3
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? many, many times in the past.
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? depending on why one is wearing it, can be both.

7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? nope.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay? yea, with a little shrug to cover up a bit, please.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you? i was visiting my friend in Pasadena when she used to live there, and rode a bus wearing a shirt that said "hug me, im grumpy" and had a picture of the dwarf grumpy from the seven dwarfs. uhm, a grandmother actually said "let me hug you, child" to me, and proceeded to do just that. 😀
10. Weekly goals: to not get sick pls.
Karen says
I love your story in #9, Nina! 🙂 What a sweet thing.
So random, but I always pictured you liking dark chocolate for some reason… all the talented cooks I know seem to enjoy it.
Anywho, stay well and don’t get sick!
Nina says
sweet, right? the granny didnt speak that much english (i believe she was Armenian) but she managed to let me know what she wanted to do. i had a big smile the rest of the day.
i guess i should have clarified — ill eat all kinds of chocolate, and do prefer to cook w/ dark. but my faves are milk and white (which is not really chocolate, so technically i should be able to eat it during Lent …) …
i hope i dont get sick … but i have this warm feeling at the back of my eyes … :-/
Karen says
That’s so sweet. I hope that when I’m make it to that age that I’ll be hugging people left and right, LOL!
Funny how all the cooks I know just love making food with dark chocolate! Is it because you can control the sweetness of the final product?
Ugh, I know those telltale signs when you feel something coming on. Usually when my knees start throbbing then I know something’s up.
Nina says
that granny was my perfect image of a granny – was in a cuddly, warm sweater and smelled like baby powder. 🙂
youre right — since there very little sweetness in dark chocolate, it lets the other ingredients of the dish shine. my fave dark choclolate partner is peanut butter!
when my joints start aching and my eyes feel warm — i know i just got hit by the cold. im just praying it isnt the flu.
ines says
Heya Karen! I heard you guys are experiencing some nice weather in the Bay area, I hope you’re soaking it up – it’s about 9 degrees farenheit up here in Montreal!
1. Mood:
Hopeful.
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate?
All chocolate is good – but I’m partial to dark.
3. Peeta or Gale?
I haven’t read the Hunger Games yet so I don’t know 🙁 – I’ve been perusing the free classics on the Kobo app for my android phone.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song?
Nope. Can’t say that I’ve ever heard girlfriend sing!
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky?
Cute 30 years ago… Now it seems kinda tacky, unless of course, you were going as Madge to a costume party.
6. The current state of your eyebrows?
Okay. But they could use a visit to Nora at the local benefit brow bar… She works wonders with my shapeless, sparse Asian brows.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair?
Can’t say that I’ve worn extensions in my hair, period.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay?
Yea if you can keep them on/for an appropriate occasion – for myself personally – nay as I’m small up top and everything falls off.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you?
That I had great posture. They probably only saw me dancing and not slouched over my laptop squinting at a spreadsheet. My mom’s always been telling me to sit straight, and I’m always hunched over when I’m reading, so the posture thing was surprising!
10. Weekly goals:
I had a moment of weakness and raided Sephora/LUSH (Josie Maran Argan Oil, LUSH Each Peach Massage Bar, several bath bombs, Buxom Healthy Lip Polish in Destiny) even though I’m on a shopping ban (currently trying to spring clean and streamline my possessions) – repair the damage on my visa and stick to the plan. It works better if every paycheck I reward myself with a small beauty indulgence 🙂
Start spring cleaning & get my tax documents in order
Play with the kitties half an hour a day – Cha Cha’s been real sweet lately, cuddling on my chest while I read in bed and giving me his “sexy” look (read: looks rather squinty and like Mr. Magoo)
Karen says
Hey Ines,
Yeah, it doesn’t feel like winter at all right now. Yesterday I went for a walk at dusk and I didn’t even have to wear my jacket. I’ll send you a virtual ray of sunshine. 🙂
Aww, Cha Cha needs a treat for being extra sweet. 🙂
ines says
Thanks for the sunshine! So lucky – I was a little hopefully a couple weeks ago but lately it’s been FREEZING so no dice there… The groundhog lied!!!
Linnea says
1. Mood: Ok! Had a business trip last week, and just trying to get back in the swing of things. Was in a very grouchy mood this weekend, so trying to pick things up.
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? Milk is usually a safe bet for me.
3. Peeta or Gale? I haven’t read the Hunger Games. Just couldn’t get into them.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? Not really.
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? Tacky. But back in the day, they were hoooot.
6. The current state of your eyebrows? Need a bit of plucking since the tweezers were forgotten at home when travelling.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? No.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay? Yea. It better fit right!
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you? Not totally sure.. I would say just compliments on things, which is always a nice surprise.
10. Weekly goals: Get outta this funk! Get some work done, and stay 100% positive.
Karen says
Hi Linnea,
I like your goals this week. I might have to borrow a few of them.
Where did you go for your business trip? Any place exciting?
Lisa says
1. Mood: tired, but decent. I’m really sore from my workout yesterday though!
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? Dark! Especially with sea salt.
3. Peeta or Gale? Peeta all the way. I’m so excited for the movie to come out!
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? No
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? Not my thing
6. The current state of your eyebrows? I’m trying to let them fill in, but I’m itching to pluck. I’ll probably clean them up just a bit this week.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? Nope.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay? I think they’re gorgeous, but I need a really good bra to wear them.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you? I got hit on by a 10-year-old boy in my neighborhood. It was very surprising, and not really in a good way!
10. Weekly goals: Sleep, cook healthy meals, and work on my dissertation proposal.
Karen says
Hi Lisa,
I’m going to try and cook some healthy meals, too. Where do you usually get your recipes?
Trisha says
1. Mood: I’m in a very great mood. Let’s hope it lasts all day. All week!
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? I love white chocolate. Real chocolate is only okay in small doses.
3. Peeta or Gale? Tough question. I guess Peeta by a small margin.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? Of course. “…or am I caught in a hit and run?!”
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? Maybe cute. Mostly tacky. I didn’t realize the whole Madonna-from-the-early-80s thing was back.
6. The current state of your eyebrows? Decent.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? No, but every time I see them in a store, I pause for just a second to imagine how cool I would look with them in. And then I remember that I’m almost 30 and that I have curly hair that would just tangle around it anyway, and I keep walking.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay? Yea, but I really need to find a better strapless bra.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you? When I had dreadlocks, I was working at a photo lab. This was a rare occasion where I was waiting on a customer.
“What’s that in your hair?” asked an elderly lady and her friend.
“Um, a binder,” I said, thinking she was talking about what was holding my hair up in a ponytail.
“No, your hair.”
“Oh, it’s dreadlocks,” I said, smiling.
“Ohhhh. It looks terrible on you dear.”
Yeah. That was weird. Who just tells a stranger that they look terrible?
10. Weekly goals: Keep on being adorable.
Karen says
Hi Trisha,
I’ve had what happened to you on on #9 happen to me too. All you can do is brush it off and keep going, right?
Trisha says
Right! I was much less sad about it as I was baffled that someone had the gall to insult a stranger to their face. Rude much?
Larie says
1. Mood: Tired.
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? None, really, but white once in a while.
3. Peeta or Gale? Peeta.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? Probably!
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? Cute!
6. The current state of your eyebrows? A mess. They’re always a mess. ._.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? No.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay? Yea! Although sometimes hard to keep up, haha.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you? I’m not sure. I think I’m always surprised by the random nice things. I was testing a foundation at a Nordstrom once, and the SA sent me out with a mirror to test it in a different light (always a good idea!). A grandfatherly gentleman stopped to tell me I looked lovely, haha.
10. Weekly goals: Clean the apartment! Stay focused!
Karen says
Have a great week, Larie!
Nicolle S says
1. Mood: A little rundown, but determined.
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? White chocolate closely followed by milk.
3. Peeta or Gale? OMG, Peeta 100%. Gale sucks.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? LOL, yes…
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? Not for me, but I’m sure others can rock them.
6. The current state of your eyebrows? They’re great! At least I think so.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? No way…
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay? Yea! I love using them alone or as a base piece for lots of layers.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you? “You look JUST like Jessica Biel”
10. Weekly goals: Remain focused on my school work and complete it all by Thursday. Pack for spring break! Stay calm, positive, and determined.
Karen says
Hi Nicolle,
LOL re your answer to #3! Good luck on getting your school work done. Where are you headed for spring break?
Kim says
Happy Monday!
1. Mood: Okie Dokie, Smokey!
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? Dark, but I’d rather have a hunk of cheese. 🙂
3. Peeta or Gale? I like certain traits about both.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? Why, of course. Straight Up was all the rage when I was young.
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? I’m neither a fan of fingerless gloves nor lace, so not for me!
6. The current state of your eyebrows? Pretty good; I’d like them to grow in a bit more.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? No.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay? Definite Nay for me. I think strapless is one of the toughest cuts to wear (and look good in).
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you? I can’t answer that because my mother told me never to talk to strangers. HAHA! Honestly I can’t think of anything. Someone recently walked into a room and before introductions or even a Hello, said I looked just like Maya Rudolph. This was surprising because it’s not true and because I had to google her (I know; I wasn’t putting the name to the face). 🙂
10. Weekly goals: Let things go. I’m not an easy-going person and even when I know it’s useless to reason with ignorant people, I still can’t let their pettiness roll off. Particularly when it’s directed at one of my 9 year old sons who’s never been anything but kind and polite. It’s taking a lot of willpower, but I need to work on that long term. No time like the present to begin! 🙂
Karen says
Hi Kim,
I’m working on letting things go, too. It’s a process…
BTW, how is your son doing? I hope his mouth, teeth and gums are okay after the video chair accident.
Sending you a big hug on this lovely Monday!
Kim says
It is a process, isn’t it? The Hubs just laughs it off; I’d like to be more like that. Curse my high-strung-ness!
He’s much better, thanks for asking! His front teeth are firming up and he has another check up on Friday. The dentist thinks it’ll be once a month for the next 6 months or so, to make sure everything continues to heal well. His biggest problem is the definition of “soft foods” and “it’s not that you physically CAN’T chew it; it’s that you’re not allowed to yet”. 🙂 He can still play hockey, so that’s a big help for his morale.
Thank you – big hugs coming right back at ya! 🙂 I’m leaving for sunny CA on Wednesday. It’s going to be -5 F here tonight so I’m looking forward to some warm weather!!
Karen says
I’d like to be more like that too. My big issue is I have a very good memory for details; when something happens to me that I can’t let go, I run it over and over again in my mind. I wish I could just forget, which is apparently El Hub’s trick!
Glad to hear your lil’ one is getting better and that he’s still able to play his sport! That’s huge. If I was put on a soft foods diet, btw, I’d be lobbying solely for frozen yogurt, haha!
I can’t believe it’s already time for your trip. Are you all packed?
Kim says
I’m the same way. It just nags at me and nags at me so it’s like reliving the emotion again and again. I agree! The menfolk forget it all. That’s why they can punch each other one day and have a beer together the next. We gals tend to hold a grudge, I find! 🙂
Believe it or not, I bought him a gallon of ice cream but he didn’t eat any. I think the thought of cold on those sensitive spots made him nervous.
I know! No, of course not, I’m sure I’ll be doing that tomorrow AM before I leave. I’m very last minute that way. Before I know it, it’ll be time to head off to Italy. That is coming up really fast, too. Yay! 🙂
Ellen says
1. Mood: Mixed (happy, sad, cheerful, tired)
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? Milk and white chocolate!!
3. Peeta or Gale? whats that?
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song? No…
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky? Tacky..
6. The current state of your eyebrows? Normal I guess? Um
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair? Noo

Yelena says

Karen says
Oh that sounds good. I have a leftover cold pizza margherita and a whole mess of Girl Scout cookies… I may need to throw in a second workout to burn it all off, LOL!
Shannon says
1. Mood:
Mostly good. I’m a bit tired and my shoulders are aching for no reason that I can recall… other than that, though, it’s warming up outside so I’m a happy camper! 🙂
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate?
Dark, please! I’ll take milk on some candies.
3. Peeta or Gale?
I… don’t know what this means.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song?
Not that I’m aware of!
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky?
Totally depends o the setting. I bet they’d be super cute in boudoir pics, with the right clubbing outfit or prom dress, or in some other application…
6. The current state of your eyebrows?
mostly okay. They need a little TLC, though. The whispy blonde hairs that only show up in certain light are killin’ me.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair?
nope! I wouldn’t mind doing it, though.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay?
sure! I’m with you on the bra thing, though, Karen.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you?
There was one lady who gave me some advice on my wardrobe/appearance after I sang at a bar… she said something about accentuating my figure by wearing outfits that come in at the waist and also suggested that I powder my forehead before I go on stage. It was just a little… personal, I thought! lol. She meant well. And I am more conscientious about powdering my forehead now before I get on stage! 🙂 haha.
10. Weekly goals:
To clean up the apartment (almost there!), try to have some friends over for dinner, and practice like crazy.
Karen says
Glad to hear the weather out your way is getting warmer! What are the temps like?
BTW, Peeta or Gale refers to Hunger Games. They’re like the new Jacob versus Edward.
Shannon says
haha, “warming up” means we’re creeping close to highs of like, 50 degrees 🙂 But it feels slightly springish! So that’s exciting.
I need to read Hunger Games sometime! Or see the movie when it comes out, I suppose.
Chris25 says

5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky?: Cute. Even though they’re a little outdated.

8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay?: Yea. I can always throw a cute cardi over it if my skin is not in good shape.

10. Weekly goals: Finish my mountain of schoolwork, live through my anthro midterm.

It depends on the person. I don’t like them on myself!

2. Milk, dark or white chocolate? Milk, please.
3. Peeta or Gale? This was the discussion for many of my friends at school as my friend brought in a Hunger Games magazine. I am in the minority to say Gale. I used to be almost even, Gale pushing just slightly, but once I saw Liam…Peeta is no longer even in cosideration for my vote. 😉

1. Mood:
~Tired. Had one hell of a weekend working (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
2. Milk, dark or white chocolate?
~Oh, I love all three.
3. Peeta or Gale?
~Haven’t read the Hunger Games yet, so not sure.
4. Have you ever rocked out to a Paula Abdul song?
~LOL yes.
5. Fingerless lace gloves: cute or tacky?
~I think they are tacky on the everyday person unless you can rock them with confidence.
6. The current state of your eyebrows?
~In need of plucking. I have never had a need for an eyebrow pencil though.
7. Have you ever worn feather extensions in your hair?
~Nope, have never worn any type of extensions.
8. Strapless dresses: yea or nay?
~I love them, but I am constantly worrying about them staying up.
9. What’s the most surprising thing a stranger’s ever said to you?
~It is always the random nice things that make me smile, or the random mean things that will have me stewing all day. Whenever I don’t wear makeup to work, I always get the opinionated old ladies telling me that I look like I need a hospital bed, too. So nice of them. it always gets me laughing, though!
10. Weekly goals:
~I also have a photographic memory for bad things, so my goal each week is to try and let it go. I tend to worry about things and stew about them silently (and not-so-silently with the fiance). What has helped me is exercising and listening to heavy metal or “angry” music. it helps blow off steam and lets me look at things in a new light. Sitting and watching TV or reading when I’m upset about something is usually the worst thing I can do.
~Do some more exercise videos off Comcast On-Demand. They may be short, but they will work you hard!
~Finish out my last class for my bachelor’s strong.
Have a great rest of Monday and week everyone!

Karen, you know me and my OBLIGATORY WALKING DEAD COMMENTS!
1) I wanted to slap Carl. The boy is smarter than to go out in the woods all by himself after nearly dying two other times. Stupid kid.
2) MORE DARYL. He’s sooo badass and hooottt.
3) I wanted to slap Lori, too. She’s just so…complacent and complaisant! Carol is complaisant, too, but she had an abusive past, so I understand. Lori is just UGH! Especially after last week’s confrontation with Andrea.
4) Dale’s death was so ironic. What did you think the group should’ve done with the Randall kid, Karen? I understood Shane’s argument, but I was on Dale’s side. The group is broken.
