Hi Karen - thanks for the answer:)Yes I use the Kevyn Aucoin brushes and love them so much but they are just impossible to find here without spending an arm and a leg to get them to me. The flat headed contour brush is one of my favorites of all time. I have had the brushes for a few years and they stay so soft without shedding, feel great in the hand, and look so beautiful on the vanity too. I have a couple of pics up at MUA . It was called “Making Up With Billy B”–a lecture about how he got to where he is (and he of course answered some specific makeup questions for too). It was at The Makeup Artist Summit in New York in October.

Hi Karen!

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Got swamped with work. I can’t complain though–I work out of a home office environment for a company owned in part by my husband and myself which means that we can work at any time of day or night! To answer your question, I’m not a crazy girl on the slopes but enjoy some of the steeper runs as long as they’re well groomed! I’ll be skiing this morning for a couple of hours before getting back to work.

Brush lust: all Nars Kabuki Artisan brushes
Mascara: YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils (always! I have others but this is my favourite as you can go day to evening in one coat and they do lots of lush colours)
Best thing about last weekend: seeing my mate Derek, he now lives in Chicago so I see him only every 2 years or so
Current skin issue: backne, I always get it in the winter
Fave hair product:Fekai glossing conditioner
Celeb I’d like to hang out with today:Basil Brush but the old school one, not current
Nails: OPI You’re a doll (as I said I’m interviewing so it’s nicely subtle but I know it’s still sparkly at closer inspection)
Weekly goals: find a suitable outfit for a masked ball on Saturday night
